We decided on lunch here for our Saturday afternoon. When we walked in the music was pumping, they were ready to serve. We ordered 1/2 Cajun and 1/2 lemon pepper wings. Delicious! Mommy got the shrimp dinner with hush puppies and corn. Dee got a bag with crab, shrimp, sausage and corn. She gave me that delicious egg. Joube got the fish plate, 1/2 tilapia and 1/2 catfish. I've been coming to this place quite frequently. Generally, the food is typically good, along with the service. For some reason, Asian establishments as such, have an issue rendering customer service or simply accepting accountability when there has been an issue with service. After arriving at home, I noticed the crabmeat was not coming out of the shell as normal. They were simply overcooked. I called while eating, and I was asked to bring them back. After spending $68.15, something could have been done. My commute was 33 minutes, not to mention 9 months pregnant. I patronize multiple high end restaurants and when there's an issue, the manager will simply rectify the matter with a refund or a gift card, not request to return the food. I feel there's no consideration and complete inconvenience. A solution should be made! When you treat your customers/patrons with respect, they'll return. read more

Stopped in because there is one near us that we haven't been able to visit Apparently, this place is relatively new. They cannot serve beer yet They have the restaurant setup for social distancing. My spouse and I ordered the fried shrimp one order with fries and one with onion rings Both meals were excellent Our server brought us a complimentary clam chowder which was piping hot and delicious. Highly highly recommend. My only complaint is that the staff is slow to remove plates, bring a check, and offer drink refills or fresh drinks. read more

My kids wanted snow crab and it was too late to get some delivered, so we tried our new local seafood boil place. We've seen the building and couldn't wait for it to open, since we have good memories from a couple trips to The Juicy Crab in Atlanta. This is NOT the same chain. And, they brutally overcooked the snow crab. My kids know how to snap the legs and get out the meat. This was so overcooked that I was scraping the meat off the shells and dropping it into my melted butter---not that oil crap that they put in the bag---and it still was inedible. My only positive is that the hush puppies didn't suck. We still didn't eat all five of them. read more

While in the south I was craving some crawfish and locally found the Juicy Seafood to get my fix of crawfish and shrimp. Todays special was 1/2 lb of both for $15 and their was plenty, along with a couple of potatoes, hard boiled eggs, and a corn cob. I haven't been super impressed with the Juicy Seafood lately.. They're very close to where I live so I've always just gone as a convenience. I mainly started going here and stopped going to the Crab barrack (which is right across the street) because the crab barrack doesn't do to go orders over the phone anymore.. but I think I'll be taking my business back to crab barrack. The last time I visited the Juicy Seafood I ordered the fried shrimp (you only get four shrimp) and catfish basket with Cajun fries. Very subpar. The fries were soggy. The seasoning was off on the shrimp and the catfish is not traditionally battered. It was battered very heavily and lacked seasoning. To top it off the tartar sauce had the consistency and flavor of toothpaste.. not traditional tartar sauce at all. If I had to compliment anything it would be the hushpuppies and the cocktail sauce. I think getting them to go may be the issue.. I have yet to eat inside the restaurant. read more

My servers name was Greg! Greg was very polite, very professional, and attentive. He had amazing customer service and never let our drinks go empty! Nice young man. Great conversation. There was a manager i believe her name was Nikala, or something of the sorts.. she was very rude to Greg. He was getting out drinks and she yelled at him for a broom. He obviously knew the broom wasn't supposed to be there, but we asked him for something, and he was trying to serve us. She could've taken him to the back and said something to him other than yelling while he was attending his customers. Even after she yelled at him, he still responded graciously. I just did not like the way she did that. As a manger myself i know the importance of the way you speak to your employees, especially in front of customers. Maybe she needs to be trained more. I also enjoyed my food! It was great! Overall this place is amazing, and the food was great. read more

Could not eat the fries too greasy. Cole slaw was fresh n tasty. Corn on cob nicely seasoned but lacked salt and too soft for me. But my brother n husband enjoyed the corn. Fish lacks salt or something. I cook catfish weekly and I'm not sure the fish was catfish. Just saying too watery n not firm and flaky on inside. I appreciate the cook to go but definitely need to allow fish and fries to drain the grease separately n prior to placing in to go box and not place on stop of fries. read more

The food was amazing and tasted fresh. I had the cajun spiced (medium) shrimp, snow crab legs, sausage, and corn. I think I'll try hot next time because it wasn't spicy at all for me. The servers were great and quick. The only bad thing is that they weren't serving alchohol (even beer) even though they state that they are a bar and restaurant. It would've been nice to wash it down with a cold beer. I would also suggest that they use paper towels instead of napkins because you will go through a lot of them. Overall a great experience. Staff was nice. Food was marginal for the cost. They have no option for a really decent salad. I don't think my catfish was truly catfish (maybe fried tilapia). I'd give it a 6.5/10, there was also a huge cockroach on the wall and when we told our server she said that she wasn't surprised and that it happens often. But The Juicy blew right through my expectations and moved into solid, one-of-my-favorite-restaurants territory. This is authentic, quality, fresh seafood, prepared in authentic southern low country and beach style. We sampled peel-and-eat shrimp, snow crab legs, and black mussels. Each was prepared perfectly, and came with tasty corn and potatoes. No kidding, this is exactly what I would expect at an authentic low country seafood boil. (The chicken fingers for the non-seafood-eater were also rated highly.) We used curbside pickup, and the service and packaging were perfect. We will be back often. read more

My first experience was good but my second time last was awful ! The waitress wasn't attentive at all. My boyfriend got his food first and mines took 20 minutes.. when it took awhile for my food to come out I asked my waitress how long would it be because she keep walking past our table and she said she didn't know . Than when she finally brought it it was the wrong order . We had to leave and didn't feel like waiting another 30 minutes. When I talked to the manager and told her what happened she said they were busy which they weren't . And my seafood bag was watery I got cajan and it didn't look like it did when I ate there before . If I rate 0, I would!! My husband and I went here for a date night thinking it would be good. Well, it was fine until we got our food. Any crab leg eater knows you can 'over-cook" them. They shred and are hard to crack open. So we had 1 lb king crab with the meal that was $56 ad we had 1 lb snow crab with the meal for lie $30. They were so tough to open. So we simply asked the server for another one. He went to get the female manager. She came and was VERY rude. We kept stating they can be "over-cooked" she kept saying there is no way because they come frozen. We were saying just take off the crabs ad we'll pay for everything else. She said we already crack one and ate out of it so she can take off a few dollars. How can we know what's wrong with the food if we don't try a piece? She insisted that we just pay for the crabs anyway as we insisted we were not going to pay for something that is not edible. We eventually had to walk out because she was so unprofessional.
