Many years ago, we also had them reupholster counter stools to match our family room love seat upholstery. Their furniture is of the best quality, and can be customized as needed. The staff is very helpful in discussing our needs and helping us find the right products, providing interior design guidance as needed. We keep coming back because of the high quality and unique items we find there. Every time we browse the showroom floor, we find treasures that we just can't pass up. We desire a distinctly southwestern style, and D'Amore has had just what we need, every time. We have been frequenting D'Amore Interiors since they were located on the I-70 Frontage on the West side of Denver. I guess that must be close to two decades! When they moved to their current location, we found them promptly, as we needed some leather dining room chairs! We bought a very heavy mirror for $700 from this store and while trying to hang it, the D mounting…read morehook snapped. We called her and she said we could return it for a store credit. While driving there we talked to the owner again and she said actually No we couldn't return it and that it was our fault the D hook snapped. She said we didn't know what we were doing and it was our fault. My husband called her and didn't get to say a word and she proceeded to rant and yell at him. Is this how an owner of a small business should treat their customers? We have no interest in doing business with this store. We will repair the hook and sell it at a loss rather than deal with her.

The person working the cash register looked it up and said it would be $51. 3 minutes later, I found the EXACT same shawl in a small which had a price tag of 41.50 (the first one was a medium). We asked him to honor the price, and he said "nope, mediums probably cost more because, you know extra fabric." Okay, first of all, that's not how clothes work. But to humor him my friend tried on the small and it fit, and we asked to get that one. "Nope (again) all sales are final (he and not told us that). You can't exchange it, for the exact same item for the correct price. You CAN go buy something else for the price difference (not easy to do), so she bought a bracelet and paid more. Such a contrast to the experience I'm accustomed to shopping on Frisco Main Street. NOT a good reflection on our town at all. I will never bring a guest there again. Plenty of other local shops who treat locals and visitors well.
