We met with Chef Bianca earlier this year through our planner for a food tasting, and out of all the tastings, her food definitely stood out in the best way! We ended up selecting our a couple of our appetizers and main courses from that very same appointment. She also offers a diverse and extensive range of menu options and is very flexible with her clients' requests, making it easy to find something that suits your taste buds. During our wedding planning process, my husband and I agreed that food was amongst the top 3 important things to execute for our special day, and Chef Bianca went above and beyond our expectations. From early tasting appointment, to email communication and phone call follow-ups, she was patient, professional and very sweet! She also offered us valuable insight and gave us some advice as well when we were stuck on deciding our appetizers. For us, it was really important finding a chef that brings their own unique flavor and style to their food, as well as being able to highlight a lot of the island's flavors. Overall, everything was a hit! From the the cocktail appetizers, salad, main courses and cupcakes! We even got tons of compliments on the bread. We were so fortunate to find Chef Mike for our 10-day vacation in Hawaii for our 50th wedding…read moreanniversary. We brought 16 family members including 10 grandchildren and our sons and their wives. The grandchildren range in age from 24 to 13. I knew none of us wanted to be cooking everyday on our vacation because I scheduled busy days. Also trying to find restaurants that could seat 16 people at one time and would appeal to all of us was almost impossible and would probably cost a fortune and the kids would waste a lot of food. I contacted Chef Mike and he sounded perfect for us. I wanted home style cooking. Many of the chefs' websites showed what I considered fancy or exotic food that would not appeal to most of the grandchildren. So, we'd spend long days out hiking, swimming, sightseeing, snorkeling, parasailing and having a great time and come home to our rental to great food in the oven or ready to heat while we showered. BBQ short ribs, chicken parmesan, tempura shrimp and veggies, appetizers (amazing!) and he even shopped for fruits and desserts for us. He grilled fish and steaks for us the night I wanted to celebrate our anniversary and he served all the food. The whole family still talks about "the chef we had when we were on vacation". And with Mounia's help, it was just that...it was everything we wanted and been planning for over a year. Our wedding was on July 25, 2015 and the planning started immediately after our engagement, March 28, 2014. I contacted Mounia, all the way from Utah, a week after our engagement and we went over some of the steps to planning a wedding (of course, I was new to this whole thing). We were constantly emailing, texting, and talking over the next few months. The first thing we needed to do was "secure the venue." So of course, she was able to visit all the venues I was interested in and of course, me and my husband were on facetime for this venue search. Mounia was really good with not only keeping me posted, but also my parents and my husbands family. She included them on every email and met up with them as needed (being that we were in the mainland). She, my mom, and us facetimer's were able to secure a venue that day, July 2014. Once the date was set, everything flowed (for the most part). Mounia provided me with a timeline of when and what needed to be done. Yes, this was very helpful. This whole process went smoothly. It was very difficult planning a wedding from the mainland, but with Mounia's expertise and networking, we were able to get everything done with minimal STRESS! Mounia does a good job taking on that stress for you..lol! I've known a lot of brides to be extremely stressed during planning and that day, but for me, I think it was more nervs than stress. I would be lying if I said I was NEVER stressed, but of course, with Mounia's help...that stress was not bad. The day of the wedding went smoothly...if their were any hiccups, I couldn't tell...lol! Mounia and Kanani were so helpful with making sure everyone and everything went the way it was supposed to. My bridal party DID NOT LIFT A FINGER!! We were able to party and enjoy the wedding, which was nice!! Mounia and Kanani are personable and like I mentioned earlier, they did not hesitate to jump right in there and they were fun to be around. We wanted to enjoy our special day and be present in the moment rather than worry about all the details or field all the inquiries/questions. We picked Mounia because of her company's very reasonable rates and helpful initial consultation. We went with the PUKENIKENI PACKAGE: Assistive Planning since we needed/wanted more help beyond the day of (or rather before the day of). We actually did much of the legwork ourselves (booking vendors, doing the invitations and RSVPs, managing our budget) since that's what we wanted to do; we asked Mounia to take care of some of the details/tasks leading up to the big day. Mounia kept us on track with the ceremony and reception timeline and took care of the logistics/details we had not thought of (for example, loading up our getaway car with the gifts and leftover party favors). It was beautifully styled in boho tropicals with flameless candlelight, perfect as the sun went down around the dinner table. We catered from the restaurant I work at and also brought home made food. Owner even had a cake stand for my cake that I brought and had everything I could think of for a picnic. She went above and beyond my expectations and has such a creative style in decorating! I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a cute picnic to go with them and I would definetly hire to do this again for my next event!

She was very accommodating to last minute changes/additions for our ceremony needs. The photographer she contracted for us (Erwin) did a great job (as you can see by the pics I posted) and was very professional. He was very accommodating in helping us re-enact a picture taken with my family 9 years prior. The flowers she arranged were also beautiful. So pretty that I brought all of them home and am in process of having them preserved and put into shadowboxes. Rev. Rosemary was also very nice in blessing my husband's new wedding ring; which replaced the one that was lost in Hanauma Bay while snorkeling (shaking fist). Her blessing of the ring makes it more sentimental and important to us both as yet another Hawaii souvenir. I highly recommend Rev.
