Recently booked a hour massage here with Kelly and a few things were disappointing. First the actual massage was not great I selected "deep tissue" and for multiple times during the massage I had to ask for more pressure which shouldn't happen in a deep tissue massage. Also Kelly used only one had a majority of the time, really?! I understand I was the last apt of the day but you could tell she was putting barely and effort into the apt. Last the massage was only about 45-50 minutes long. When I left I asked the front desk if I had booked an hour massage and they said yes, but that only includes 50 minutes of hands on contact, apparently they count "getting dresses" as part of the hour massage. Over all this massage was not even worth 10$ and I would not return. read more

Apparently one hour deep tissue massage (Groupon, don't bother buying it) really translates to approximately 45 minutes of gentle rubbing. Yes, I timed it. Incredibly disappointing. The woman was very nice, but all I could focus on was the sound of her knuckles cracking. I considered asking her to use a little more force but ultimately decided I didn't want to hear her knuckles any more than I already had to. I was looking so forward to this massage, and wound up just barely getting rubbed for a couple of minutes. Hoping Groupon will give me my money back so I can go get a real massage somewhere. I guess all of the good reviews of this place are for their other services, or maybe they just treat the Groupon people differently. Either way, good luck if you choose to go. Terrible customer service. Bought a spa package for my Mom for her birthday 10 months ago. She called the company multiple times to set an appointment, only to get their voicemail every single time. No one ever called her back for months, until she started requesting money back. They then told her that they were having delays because they were replacing their staff. So much for the birthday present... When I called them to get my money back, they refused. But neither of us have yet to talk to someone directly - this was all over voicemail! This was the first time in a long time I logged into Yelp, just because of my experience, today, at Kaiser Medispa. I did a microdermabrasion treatment and nothing about the place felt warm and inviting, the treatment was okay at best (I don't see or feel a difference, at all, really) - the esthetician was very sweet, though? But, my sole focus is the treatment room. It was disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. I found it strange that I was led to change in the cramped, not too pleasant smelling room with the lights off - no candles for aromatherapy or light, nothing. Just a dark room. When the facial was over, same. No lights were turned on for me. So, when the esthetician left, I finally turned the lights on and WOW. The sheet I was laying on was LOADED with stains. Dust all over the place, stains and residue all over the furniture and equipment, and garbage on the floor. It was disturbing. I will honestly never recommend this place to anyone. Aesthetician messaged and needed to reschedule which is fine, but nervous because I needed this done before leaving, but fit it in so we rescheduled. Office staff then contacted me saying we have to reschedule again but I clarified I confirmed with aesthician already, said great never mind sorry. Then got two emails to reschedule again after that. Said no, coming at said discussed time, already spoke to aesthetian again. Rushed out of work to get this in before going away and then office was closed, called office twice then worker twice. I love this place! I've been coming here for 9 months already and I am very happy about the service here. All their staff is very nice. The atmosphere is relaxing. I never have any problems making an appointment, there is always availability for at least the next week, receptionist Christina is very sweet and I'm often lucky to get an appointment for the next day. The prices are not bad at all. I have a monthly microdermabrasion and massage membership and it is worth every penny. I usually get microderm with Michelle Gelb, she is very nice and she knows what she is doing. Their massage professionals are very good too. I would recommend this place to everyone! I found this place through coupons they gave to the entire staff at my the local school I work at. From there I got a discounted rate for monthly dermabrasion with Michelle Campos. She is set and affective. The facialists have been great but the office staff is horrible at returning calls and apts are limited. Make sure yuh check messages, I've had problems with then canceling and not finding out in time! read more

However, when I realized I couldn't get there earlier I called and left a message. I was told they can't reschedule my appointment because they need a 24 hour notice. Bought a Groupon for microdermabrasion and ended up getting one of the worst facials, EVER! This place has very limited hours (didn't know prior) so I made the appointment a little while after Groupon purchase. I spoke to the aesthetician prior to service simply stating I have sensitive skin (nothing uncommon/unusual) with that being said this woman took it upon herself to give me a half a** facial...NO Microdermabrasion!!!! Now because I purchased the Groupon a while before appointment I wasn't doubting myself..maybe I purchased a facial by mistake?! After checking my purchase on my phone while sitting in the parking lot, nope it was microdermabrasion. I called and told the girl I did not have microdermabrasion I got some gook slapped on my face and a cheek rub! I was told she would get back to me. Long story short I was refunded but the aesthetician took it upon herself to do whatever she felt necessary. I was new to the area and looking to find my go to facial spot!!! STAY AWAY!!! I got my first facial here and it was so amazing! I was very calming and relaxing I almost fell asleep! The price is very fair and the facial is curated for everyone's specific needs. After the facial , my skin cleared up after a few days and felt and looked better than ever. I have been to The Kaiser Medispa on several occasions and each visit is better than the last! I love both of the Michelles! The are amazing Estheticians and offer helpful and practical advice. I have tried both the Jet Peel and the Diamond Tip Microdermabrasion coupled with whatever facial was recommended at the time and both have yielded amazing results! I always leave Kaiser's glowing and happy. And if you haven't tried it I would also recommend the brow tint! I had my first one and am incredibly happy with the results. Love this place!! I researched spas that do microcurrent facials near me and found this place. I have been coming here for several months. Michelle Gelb is an excellent Esthetician! She is professional, friendly and most importantly effective in her treatments. Christina, the receptionist is also very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. Be weary of signing a contract with this "business". If you cancel within 24 hours, they will charge you $25. That's fine given it is part of the contract. However, if they FILL your cancelled appointment time, they will not waive the $25 late cancellation fee; nor will they notify you that the time slot was filled. NOT good local business practice, especially for an area like Red Bank / Shrewsbury. read more

I had a Facial with Michelle, but it wound up as a massage. I have had many facial in the past but all she did was massage my shoulders and my arms for 45 minutes. When I finished the facial I didn't have the glow you get, instead my arm hurt my face had lots of lotion on it that I had to go to the bathroom and wash my face. I would definitely not recommend a facial HERE. read more
