I had my whole wedding there-- myself and immediate family stayed on site in the Inn and accommodating rooms, my ceremony was in the chapel, and the reception in retreat center. I have no critiques that could make my day anymore perfect! The entire staff is EXTREMELY accommodating, everything was perfect! Even though my wedding was 3 months ago, I still have family members contacting me about the atmosphere, the food, the venue as a whole, and all they say is positive complements! There is absolutely no need for a wedding planner if you have Marywood Retreat Center as your venue, everything will be taken care of. I had this venue booked 2 years in advance and as of right now, they are only accepting Catholic members... But the planning and wedding went flawless. It was because of Matt, Ansley, and Shawn that I was stress-free prior to, during, and after the wedding. The cocktail hour outside during golden hour was such a beautiful start and setting to celebrate their love. The weather was also cooler which was ideal. I know a lot of venues for weddings are pretty strict for who can cater but it was nice to see that this venue was flexible as it was a cater that I was used to seeing at Vietnamese wedding all across Florida. When we went inside, it was a huge ballroom and was decorated nicely. Our friends had amazing little stations- some for take home memorabilia, a ramen station for later, etc. Overall, a great location for a wedding!

The get-ready room for the bride & bridesmaids was far enough from the groom and groomsmen's room that each could go outside for fresh air and not worry about seeing the other before that magical moment. Both rooms were spacious and accomodated 10 -12 people comfortably! The outhouse - look bathroom most definitely solidified the "country" feel!!! The backdrop for the wedding was on the lawn in front of the main building. It was just the right amount of space for the small(ish) wedding I was at. I'm sure there is a larger space available for bigger weddings, as well. The dance floor under the poll barn was fairly small and was also used as the space for dinner. Quick clean-up and the dance floor was instantly enlarged but that left fewer places to sit & relax for those who didn't want to dance non-stop. Although it wasn't my wedding, I definitely enjoyed being in attendance. I'd definitely recommend Tucker's Farmhouse for small-medium weddings or any other event that they may be able to host.

Summer stepped in to help correct the mischarge... but I'm still waiting on the refund. I tried calling the next day, but no manager was available to assist... which left me feeling brushed off. Despite the hiccups, I do plan to return... hopefully with a smoother experience next time.
