How fun! Great beers, wine, cider, coffee and tea! Local snacks aplenty. Nice servers, comfy atmosphere with great covered porch in front and a band porch in back. Wow this place is awesome - looking forward to coming again ;)

Great place to go have a delicious craft beer. Cheers!

It's a beer joint for hipster-hobbyist farmers with little to no parking and sky high pricing.

I have been really looking forward to trying their smoked chicken wings for a long time now, but…read morewas never there at the right time. Seems they sold out frequently. Finally a week ago, I was able to have two orders, one that was a BBQ flavor and the other traditional hot. We also ordered a basket of tater tots. This was the best item for our entire evening by far. Such a generous order, too. We didn't think we'd finish them when they arrived, but given the quality of the wings (not so great), we did mow them all up. The dings: well, the wings were just meh. Fatty, not crispy, smoke flavor ok...but neither the BBQ nor the hot were particulary good. Big ding: ZERO white wine. Last time, ok, there was no Chardonnay, I can accept that (barely...this is NOT a Chardonnay kind of place). But this time, red only. Apparently they don't stock any white...I can see where it might not be a big draw, but hey, just buy a BOX of it, keep it in the fridge and someone will order it in the 30 days the box holds its freshness. Second big ding: NO darker, heartier beer than lagers and IPAs. Not even an Alaskan Amber in a bottle. I guess if the guests don't drink it, then why order it. We probably won't come back except for when the Badd Doggs Blues Society plays, but couldn't we BRING in what we want to drink and pay a corkage? Or do we have to go out in the parking lot and sneak a shot? I really WANT to support this place, but, as of now, except for the tots, I'm not sure what I'd come here for. And that's not enough. Bring back Zoog's breaded Jalapeno poppers!

When you go in, you go and order and pay at the counter first, then sit down with a number and wait for your food to be brought out to you. Service at the counter is friendly and food comes out fast -- water and utensils are self serve, but you do not need to bus your own table. The vibe of the place is casual, with a couple of TV screens set to various sports channels and old music on the playlist. The two of us shared a full portion of the Washington apple salad, I had the meatloaf burger, and my dinner buddy had the mushroom stroganoff, which he enjoyed. Portions are generous here, I am happy to say, and we were absolutely stuffed afterward. We honestly probably didn't *need* to order the salad, but we were both wanting the vegetables to balance out the meal. The salad was huge and full of beautiful fresh leaves, dressed lightly but evenly with a great vinaigrette, topped with crunchy apple chunks and slices, walnuts, and blue cheese. It's delicious but actually feels healthy. The meatloaf burger is awesome. The meatloaf itself is moist, not overly bread crumby, well seasoned, and there's a right thick slab of it in the sandwich. This is honestly a perfect burger, despite not being a typical burger. Eating this is not a graceful endeavor, stuff falls out left and right, but who cares. The small cup of slaw on the side is solid and adds some textural variety. Definitely a great place for a tasty, filling, casual meal. Next time I hope I can actually try some Cornish pasty.

My husband and I really enjoyed our Saturday night visit to The In Between in Port Townsend. While…read moreit's billed as a speakeasy, there is no gimmicky password or secret door, which is honestly a relief. To get to The In Between, you simply go through the main entrance to the Sirens Pub building, but instead of heading into the pub go up one flight of stairs. We checked in at the bar and seated ourselves, and then were quickly greeted with menus and water. We very much got the sense that while the folks here take cocktails very seriously, they don't take themselves overly seriously. There's no unnecessary pretense, and no need to be an expert to enjoy your time here. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, which made us feel so at ease. That plus the comfortable space, dim lighting, and perfect noise level (not eerily quiet, but no so loud that you couldn't have a conversation with the person in front of you) made for a lovely experience. We each nursed a delicious drink -- a mezcal cocktail for me and a straight up spirit for him (we enjoyed that they feature local producers!) -- while enjoying each other's company and the excellent atmosphere here. What more could you ask for?

And the copper straw for that drink suited it perfectly, really brought out the ice cream coldness in each sip. Alas this wasn't my drink, but my wife's. I had the sotol cocktail and that was smoky and interesting too. Vibes were immaculate here for the weekend night I went. The gold and art deco furnishing with the varied lighting and green-gold wallpaper, along with the unexpectedly detailed wood carvings under the bar were great. Plus the relaxed but bassy music selection added to the lounge experience. Very happy, hope I can return and order the pistachio drink for myself. Fast service, no complaints.
