    Chicken and Ricotta Pasty

Delicious casual pub that's perfect for a quick bite while in Port Townsend. They have a very large variety on the menu with lots of vegetarian and vegan items. My chicken ricotta pasty was delicious and really hit the spot after a long day in the San Juan Islands. Service was very fast, all the employees were super friendly, and all the food was very fresh. I'll definitely come back here next time I'm in PT to try the pasta, it looked phenomenal.

One of my favorite restaurants whenever I'm in town. I usually get the mac and cheese but decided to go for the smoked salmon linguine this time. The food took some time to arrive but all of the foods arrived very hot and fresh. The restaurant has 4 TV's that usually plays some sports games. It's a great place for brunch for groups of any size! Mac and Cheese 5/5 Super rich/cheesy and always hot since it's served in the cast iron. I love that you can customize the mac and cheese to add whatever you'd like. The size looks a bit small but I usually get two servings out of it. The penne is always cooked well and absolutely covered in sauce. Smoked Salmon Linguine 5/5 I would drink this sauce if I could. The pasta is cooked perfectly and has just enough chew and bounce. The sauce is absolutely decadent and creamy with hints of salmon. There were also lots of salmon bits in the pasta and just the right about of cheese topped on the pasta.

The food was good and the place was pretty neat. However, the prices are just very high. I wanted to order some other items but couldn't justify spending $12 on a plain baked potato. It's in a prime location so this might also be why.

Visited Tommyknocker's Cornish Pasty in Port Townsend today, November 2, 2025, around 2:30 PM. The place was busy but had such a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service was excellent--friendly and attentive even during the rush. We ordered the Kids Flatbread Pizza, a Baked Potato (GF), and the Lamb & Mint Pasty--everything was delicious and fresh. The food came out quickly, and the restaurant was very clean and well-organized. You can really taste the quality and care they put into their food. A beautiful place with great food, great service, and great vibes! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in Port Townsend.

Great spot to reconnect with friends, old and new. We came in on a Thursday and they had something for everyone. Our friends visiting from out of town are vegan and the menu had a solid and delicious options for them to choose, they got the Vegan Eggplant and Lentil Lasagna and vegan Mac and Cheese. I got the Rueben Pastie and half apple salad. Really great menu, fast service for our large party. I highly recommend this spot!

Fast service. Good, clean music (not too loud). Awesome Football décoré, and the best food I've ever had. The pasties, chocolate cheesecake, and Mac n' cheese were so phenomenal and they were all safe for my dairy-allergy family!

The crab mac & cheese here is perfection; I'll be dreaming about it for awhile! The lamb pasty was also very tasty and my mom enjoyed the smoked salmon chowder. Great pub vibe, quaint location, and helpful staff. Definitely recommend this place and would like to come back! ...but seriously run, don't walk for the crab mac 'n cheese.

Very friendly staff and the food was amazing. Casual atmosphere to the max. Got the portobello stuffed mushrooms and the sausage and pasta in Gorgonzola sauce. Yum. So creamy. Thank you!

Vegetarians, vegans, meat eaters rejoice in the YUM. Super cute and casual spot on the main strip in downtown port Townsend. From the outside it looks like a bar, but inside shows a casual and cozy local nook. The vegan crab cake sandwich was BOMB, flavorful, great slaw, soft bread, all the yum. The vegan Shepards pie pastie was cooked perfectly and just what we needed on a cold day. So! Good! Easy ordering - order at the counter, take a number, they bring it to you. Makes good for groups of all sizes.

I recently visited Tommyknocker's Cornish Pasty in downtown Port Townsend, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish! This cozy British-inspired spot at 711 Water Street has such a warm, inviting atmosphere perfect for a relaxed meal in a charming seaside town. I ordered the crab cakes, and wow--they were incredible. Two generous 3oz patties made with Dungeness and rock crab, perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, served with a flavorful pesto aioli and fresh salad greens dressed in their house Tommyknocker's dressing. Every bite was packed with sweet, fresh crab flavor without any filler overload. Hands down one of the best crab cakes I've had anywhere. My wife went with the Crab Mac 'n Cheese, and she couldn't stop raving about it. Loaded with real Dungeness and rock crab, creamy housemade cheese sauce, and perfectly cooked pasta it was rich, indulgent, and comforting in the best way possible. She said it was "perfection" and she'll be dreaming about it for weeks! The service was friendly and attentive, the portions were satisfying, and the whole experience felt special. If you're in Port Townsend and love seafood with a British twist (or just great food in general), Tommyknocker's is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back for their famous pasties next time!

Our party of five was pleasantly surprised with this little spot. My wife and teenage and young adult daughters consider themselves Mac & Cheese connoisseurs. The Mac & Cheese scored between 9 and a perfect 10 with all three women. It was served hot and melty in a skillet and stayed hot until all gone. I didn't order it but tasted it (several times) and thought it was amazing, and I would put it in my Top 3 of all time. The other meals were also very good and so was my ice-cold local pilsner. In a town with limited options and sometimes sub-par service this place was a winner. Friendly staff, good service, and fantastic food. If you find yourself here for a visit, stop in and check them out. If you love Mac & Cheese, hurry up and go, you won't regret it.

Mac and Cheese pulled pork style (Vegan!?!?!)

Great little place in Port Townsend. Made it on Mac and Cheese Monday, so good! Bangers and Gorgonzola Mac and cheese was delicious and the Vegan style Mac and cheese was fantastic (avoiding dairy but love meat) so got it pulled pork style and loved it. Creamy and smooth and hot. Went well with a tap Scotch Ale. The potato and leak soup (also vegan) was fantastic. Friendly fast service

    Vegan flatbread pizza! Yum!

I really liked The In Between's logo and interior design, it felt like stepping into the Prohibition era. We ordered a drink each from the Seasonal Summer Menu and shared a hummus plate. The drinks were nothing extraordinary but pretty good, and the hummus plate was a great shareable snack for the two of us. However, the service was super slow and frustrating. The staff were overextended since they were taking on both the bartender and server roles, so it was very difficult to catch their attention. We ended up having to approach them while they were in the middle of making a drink after trying to flag them down for 20 minutes and failing. We were in a bit of a rush towards the end so this was not the best experience, but definitely a bar worth checking out if you're not in a rush and have a lot of patience!
