Awesome hand lotions, hair perfumes, Turkish towels (I got a great grape [okay, just plain purple] and pink one that's got teal on the other side -- just beautiful and so soft, ooh, what luxury! Turkish towels are awesome because they take up less space and dry far more quickly than other, thicker towels, so of course they end up both smelling much better and being a lot more hygienic. The orange-scented hand lotion is super-luxe, too, with a rich creamy feel and excellent scent. I got the amber hair perfume. The rugs are really nice, with just enough texture balanced together with softness and sturdiness all together in one piece -- and there is an amazing selection of different colours of these area rugs available, all rolled up nicely in a cool basket. Speaking of baskets, they've got them! The baskets have a real beachy vibe and would be perfect for a day (or a week, or more!) at the beach. They're real sturdy and stand up well on their own, unlike some other floppier baskets or of course beach bags out there .... The baskets are also really good for shopping, too. There are cookbooks, fun cooking and cleaning supplies such as the never-before-seen-by-me ravioli-shaped sponges and oh-so-many things to explore, I wouldn't want to ruin it for you by telling you more! The person I encountered was super-helpful, friendly, nice, accommodating, etc. The parking is plentiful (At least it was when I was there.), and if you like pretty, flowery things, there is also a lovely gardening center just steps away ... plus lots of other stuff nearby to explore in Kensington! One business told me they would have a space for me in February! Therefore, I made a last ditched effort to call Two The Moon. Not only were they able to squeeze me in, they were so very nice and professional! We brought the baseball jersey to the shop on Thursday afternoon and by Friday evening, it was ready for pick up! The price was very reasonable, as well!! I would love to go back when I have time to browse. The shop smelled like Christmas and there were so many beautiful unique items that would make wonderful gifts! We even met Johanna, the owner! She and her staff were absolutely amazing!! Many different styles of furniture, a lot of very ornate stuff. I liked a lot of things I don't really need - but still I was toying with the idea of fitting them into my home. Wayne Baker is the gentleman who owns and runs the place. I sketched out what I was looking for in terms of the corner tables - Wayne thought he had a couple of tables in that style. Turns out he did - but in the wrong colors and styles. He had one wooden one in a Cherry finish (I'm looking for something in either a Maple, Oak, or Pecan wood/finish). He also had one with a wrought iron base and a stone top - but it also was the wrong style. Wayne advised he would have a larger selection of these style tables come his Spring shipment - so I will check back with him then. While I was there, I found what I at first thought was supposed to be a large emerald jewel - but turns out what it really is - is a Deck Prism. These were used back in sea-faring days of yore to bring light below decks. Now it's reordered with no fabric so it's wrong! The craziest part is they are telling me it's a custom order so they can't credit me until they hear from the manufacturer. But remember it's now a plain stool with no fabric so it will be returned anyway! Unbelievable ! About 40 hours on the phone and numerous " product specialist" they offer me a $100 discount once it ships! But it's not evenThe right stool! Never again!

Nevertheless, we might get rid of some stuff to add new, but old stuff. We will see. Upon walking inside the shop, I think about how many homes these pieces of furniture traveled to. Speaking with Ms. Gordon, I found out about the possibility of donating old furniture we might not need anymore. This has been fun. I did enjoy seeing pictures of North Carolina Outer Banks before the heavy development. Lots more to explore and the prices are reasonable.
