Well this year, I decided to try something different. I ordered for delivery on the 31st which they were open, I sent it to my mom to surprise her and sure enough, after being in the fridge for 2 days - cake still came out perfect on the 2nd. She was so happy to receive her perfect strawberry cake on her actual bday! Thanks piece of cake!

I got a cookies and cream slice and a chocolate chip pound cake slice on Wednesday. I went Tuesday and no cookies and cream available so I went back the next day.

Gotta love Kupcakerie!…read more I've been planning on visiting the new Kupcakerie location for months and I was so happy when I finally got the chance a few weeks ago. I'm so used to the East Point location, I was excited to visit the new Grant Park location, especially when I saw all of the new parking spaces. So much room! First impressions were great as when you first drive up you see the super cute, pink Kupcakerie cupcake and name on the exterior. There was some seating outside on one visit (when it wasn't so rainy in ATL) and the string lights were an added bonus for the vibes. This space is also offered for events and I could definitely imagine a super cute soiree happening in this cute area. Upon entry, I loved seeing the super cute pink couch in the corner, perfect seating for those who decide to check out one of the books from the bakery bookshelf. (Buy a book!) There's also a nice little office space that would be great for meetings or study groups while you enjoy the Kupcakerie treats. It's super quiet and the cashiers have all been friendly, fast and willing to share their personal recommendations. Kupcakerie offers about a dozen different cupcake flavors daily and I feel like every flavor is worth a try, lol. I don't truly love sweets, but I have cravings for a little sugar like anyone else, and their cupcakes are always worth it. (And pair well with wine!) If you're not on the hunt for cupcakes, you should check out the breakfast sandwiches, coffees, sandwiches/salads, etc. that they also offer. The strawberry Scarlet Letter and Yes, Pecan! are my faves. Yum!

I said that was fine and asked them to substitute with what they had available. The cupcakes were due for delivery at 5p. At 4:08 kupcakerie canceled the order. Nobody called me. By the time I found out it was canceled the store was closed.

From the moment we walked in, the variety of cereals on display was enough to make any cereal lover swoon. Pro tip: if you see it on the shelf, they've got it -- don't limit yourself to what's behind the counter. My fiancée found a Groupon (wallet win!), but honestly, I'd pay full price without hesitation -- it was that good. After sampling a few ice cream options, I went with the Oatmilk Cream Pie, which turns out is a staff favorite -- and I totally get why. For my cereal mix-in, I chose the Cookies and Cream Frosted Flakes (yes, you read that right ). We noticed they were running a little low on toppings -- we came later in the day -- but thankfully they weren't out of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. I topped mine with a drizzle of peanut butter, which threw me off at first because it was black in color (I thought it was chocolate!), but nope, it was peanut butter and it was delicious. We got our creations in handmade waffle cups, which added an extra layer of yum. It wasn't super busy, but our order still took a little while -- not a dealbreaker though, especially since it gave us time to snap a few photos. Parking nearby was only $3, so no complaints there. Can't wait to return and experiment with more combos! The Cereal Lab is a sweet spot I'll be recommending to everyone.
