a red truck parked in a parking lot
    Sarah L.

Saw the truck while out shopping and was hungry so decided to stop as we love a good fish & chips. Ordered the 4 piece, it comes with fries. You order at the window, they give you a buzzer and cook your fish fresh and you can definitely tell. Batter light & not too thick, was good and has a little seasoning in it. Fish was nice & fresh, some pieces were a little dry but not bad. Pieces of fish were maybe 2 ish ounces each so not too big. Fries were great! They were the thin cut and had a light batter on them and fried perfectly. Draw backs- it's a food truck so you have to take it to go or eat it in your car, fish pieces a bit small so order the 4 piece if you want to feel satisfied, a bit pricey. The 4 piece was over $20. As a business owner I would recommend having the person who is taking orders to be a bit more cheerful & happy to see customers, have a bit more personality, and try to upsell.... Drinks etc. Overall it definitely didn't change the good flavor of the food. We will be back. I know there are trucks in the Boise Meridain area also.

I have bought a 2 piece fish dinner over 20 times at the Caldwell location and it is by far the best tasting fish in the valley!

The fish was perfect and flavorful, and the fries were a great crispy battered type.

Being half Thai, I knew this would have high hopes for great food. Service from the 2 women crew was spot on. The food truck gives you street food vibes you would find in Bangkok. They make every dish to order so it does take a little longer for your food, but it's truly worth it. They even have a couple of awards in 2025 to prove it. I did find out that the 2 ladies would be closing up shop until April as the will go back home for vacation and to visit family. Now for the food...I ordered an array of items to see how the dishes stacked up. Everything was spot on with a bit of a remix. Ordered the larb with pork, pad Thai with shrimp, green curry with pork, pad kra pow w/ pork, pad see ew w/ shrimp, tom yum w/ shrimp, and a Thai fried rice w/ shrimp. My family and friends of 6 basically crushed everything with very minimal leftovers. The portions are generous and pricing is very reasonable. I'll definitely be back when I'm back in Idaho to do some spring/summer fishing.

I ordered the shrimp with noodles and some crab Rangoon...seems like too much but I've been biking, hungry! When I say I don't know if I ordered right it is really because of the lack of flavor...which is strange. The shrimp were great, hot off the flat top, fresh, nice shrimp taste! The rest of the food, bland...except for the noodles that had a burnt oil flavor from the metal flat top...not at all appealing...don't have to worry about eating too much. The Crab Rangoon were bad as well! All fried wonton, no filling...like dime-bag full! Very easy to fold these for some better presentation but I think then it would really accent the fact they were basically empty of fillings. Would not recommend! If I see them again I will double check how I order, or just try something else. Also charged $24, selected 20% tip and was charge $32? Tax, not sure but that's a lot I think. KT

He has blessed the treasure valley with amazing food and service. This food truck makes for a great lunch or dinner. Today's lunch consists of a side of fried rice, side veggies and some appetizers. The fried rice is so good! You can taste the garlic butter that's used to seasoned the rice. It's a great combination of buttery and savory. I love the minced up carrots and onions in the rice, it gives it great texture. The veggies are always cooked to perfection! I love the slight char the vegetables get from the hot grill. The zucchini and broccoli have a slight crunch to them and is not overcooked. The egg rolls were fried to a perfect golden brown. Crunchy and savory. The crab rangoons are my favorite! There's more than just cream cheese in the middle! You can taste the extra goodies in there, crab and green onion. The wrapping to cream cheese ratio is great! Paired with the sweet and sour sour, chef's kiss! It's always busy at the food truck. Everything is made fresh to order. Staff is always friendly. If you're ever in the area of Hiroyuki Hibachi, you should totally try it out!
