The room was smaller than imagined but we put 2 to a bed and one on the floor. After a very quiet night, clean bedding, towels and a warm shower we finished our drive to the park on the boarder and spent the day with family.. Our intention was to drive back to the hotel, stick one of us back on the floor and leave this morning. However, management at the Everett Inn had a different agenda! Our door key didn't work, when we went to the front desk we were told he had a few empty rooms and he did not want any of us on the floor. That was no way to get a good nights rest! He gave us an additional room at no cost and wished us luck on our drive back home in the morning. This was the most outstanding action I have ever seen in a hotel anywhere! We all had a great nights sleep well prepared to hit the road today. If you are in the area, not sure where to stay over, I suggest the Everett Inn. No bugs (a major issue for me), no noise, right off the road and the people are terrific.. give them a try.

The hotel is definitely old. They use big brass keys instead of key cards, but some of the old features add to the charm. We had a corner room with a great balcony and a view. Free breakfast was pretty standard- we did love that they had gluten free bread and fresh berries and they were could enjoy them from our room. The staff was friendly and helpful! They offer wine service at the counter, but not from 6-9pm. We thought this was kind of funny, but maybe they're encouraging you to go to the wine shop down the street during that time. The hotel has a lovely outdoor area right on the water that we enjoyed. This was a great place to stay, but very pricey. Two nights cost almost $700 but had the same comfort and amenities as a hotel that would cost about half that.

The house has a ramp from the private driveway and a step-in shower which are( perfect for my 86-year old mom who has some mobility issues), plenty of beds for us and our companions, two nice full bathrooms plus a half bath, and a big great room living area with a nice functional kitchen, dining room, and family room. The yard is spacious and even has a play area with swings and slides that were great fun to explore with my 5 year-old great nephew. The Admiral House isn't fancy, but it's clean and nicely decorated. We'll return again and highly recommend this if you want to stay in a nice home within walking distance of downtown Coupeville.

This lasted until 5 in the morning when they turned it off. Sure, occasionally you'll run into an inconsiderate guest. The next night, the same thing happened. I finally had enough at 4 in the morning and went to find the room and complain. When I knocked and knocked, no answer. I asked a woman in the lobby if the room was hers and she finally said it was but refused to turn the TV down. I used the phone in the lobby to contact the manager for late check ins, yet it didn't connect me with anyone.

This is a big deal to someone suseptible to strong odors. The quality furniture, pictures and TV with tons of cable stations are a huge bonus. Absolutely spotless without even a discoloration mark on the grout in the bathroom. The carpet was clean, too. The staff are warm and friendly and we were surprised to have bagels and muffins at check out. All of this with the low price tag makes it a real bargain!
