The Kitchen Showcase is really the only place to go for a kitchen remodel as far as my wife and I are concerned. Ruth Dial was our rep and she, early on in the process, told me that things were not going to be perfect, "but don't worry about it because we'll fix everything to your satisfaction." This statement put me at ease. And they were truly put to the test on our project. The root of all the problems in our remodel originated from the cabinet manufacturer and not from the KS team. We had some very unusual problems with the manufacturer, but due to Ruth (and her team) ALL of the problems were corrected. Not only that, we received many upgrades to our kitchen cabinets that we didn't have to pay for. Our remodel was a difficult one, and the manufacturer made it even more difficult, but we are very happy with our new kitchen and with the whole Kitchen Showcase team. My advice: go to Kitchen Showcase, ask for Ruth and let her and her team take care of your kitchen. They followed through on everything till the end. Right now in the Denver area, many companies like KS are loaded with business and dealing with backlogs. If I went somewhere else, chances are that we would have been dealing with someone who really didn't care whether things were done properly or not. Integrity and follow-through is a rare commodity in the Denver area this days. Steve Day has been terrific to work with. He's very patient and has allowed us the time we've needed to make adjustments and spaced out our projects over a year. So far we have redone our master bath and next up is the kitchen- will post pics of that when I can. (It'll be awhile!) We live in a condo so storage is a high priority. We removed a huge jetted tub and added a linen closet and a tower between our 2 vanities. Changed out and updated the tile and added a steam unit to compensate for no tub. What a great result! We are thrilled. I'll take a steam unit over a deep tub requiring cleaning that was a total pain, anytime. Check out these pics- it was less expensive then other kitchen design companies but I'll caution you, definitely not inexpensive. Since we just have 2 bathrooms for the 2 of us, it's been well worth it. We can't wait for the kitchen! I should add that Herbert Rempel at Workroom 101 supplied the hard surfaces and much appreciated help with design, who hooked us up with a Chris at Ultra Plumbing Supplies and with Vlad at Karpov Construction! We worked with Ruth and highly recommend her. We needed an island designed and some kitchen cabinets replaced. The island Ruth designed fulfilled all of the storage needs we discussed. She also helped pick out the new countertop for our island which we replaced our existing counters with as well. We had a wall torn down to make room for the island and Ruth engineered the perfect size to fit with the flow of area. We wanted it large enough to fit two stools on one end. The island accommodates this with ample room. Our kitchen has white cabinets and she suggested doing the island in a dark wood as contrast. It looks beautiful! We have a bathroom in the basement that needs remodeling and when we are ready we will go to Ruth. We moved here 6 months ago from Chicago and I chose Kitchen Showcase because it had good reviews. I am so happy I did. Ruth also recommended the contractors who tore down the wall, refinished our floor, and retiled our fireplace. How often these days, do you find a company that really cares for the long term satisfaction of the customer, even when it involves extra work for them that wasn't their fault. Erik B. went way above and beyond to ensure we were 100% satisfied. I ordered cabinets from TKS in 2017 when I re-did my entire kitchen. I was 100% satisfied with them then. This review is about their loyalty and follow up. I noticed one of my cabinets wasn't shutting all the way. Also, a drawer was just slightly misaligned. I had also misplaced my touch up color over the months. One call to TKS and they made arrangements to come out within the week. Cliff realigned my drawer and taught my son how to do this if needed! He had a new touch up stick for me too:) Then Cliff noticed the cabinet door had warped and immediately ordered me a new one. TKS is so communicative, as soon as the new cabinet arrived they contacted me and scheduled an install date. The morning of install I received another call when Justin was on his way. When he got here he quickly and efficiently replaced my cabinet door which included drilling new holes for the handle. The work was completed perfectly. We visited The Kitchen Showcase in 2017 when renovating our 115 year old bungalow. We were very impressed with the recommendations and attention to detail demonstrated by our Designer, Greg Hamel. He visited our home multiple times during the process to ensure the end results met our expectations and fulfilled his vision for our new kitchen, bookshelf, buffet, and laundry room. After the renovation was completed, I noticed a few fine-tuning opportunities which Greg coordinated effortlessly. More than one year after our installation, I noticed a crack in the panel that surrounds our farmhouse sink. We bought bathroom cabinets from Kitchen Showcase a couple of years ago and are very happy with them. We had some trouble opening and closing one of the drawers. We contacted our salesperson, Darrel Stoesz at the end of last week, and he had a technician, Fess, here bright and early this morning to check out the problem. He figured out what was wrong right away, and went to work to repair the issue. We had a bottle of distilled water that had leaked and had caused some warping in a cabinet and in a drawer. Fess fixed everything in short order and all is working perfectly. He was very professional, knowledgable and personable. We couldn't be happier with Kitchen Showcase, as they really do stand by their warranties! Our home has cabinets supplied by The Kitchen Showcase and recently noticed that our shower door has been leaking so water has been getting into the kick-plate of the vanity. The wood started showing warpage so we called The Kitchen Showcase to see if they could help us fix this up. In the meantime our son decided to hang from a cabinet door and managed to rip out one of the hinges. When talking to the KTS folks they said they had the pieces we needed in stock and could send out their technician to fix these things for us. Larry showed up and got to work and was able to get the broken door back in order and install a new kick-plate on the vanity. All looks great. We've also been working with Mike on designing the kitchen/breakfast nook area of our new build. We had a leak in our swamp cooler which caused our ceiling in the kitchen to fall through. Due to the damage we got new kitchen cupboards!! Ruth came out and was soooo nice and helpful as far as picking out what would look good in our kitchen. She had ideas I would not even have thought of. She chose knobs that she thought would look the best and every time I contacted her she was very pleasant to work with. I love the cupboards! We needed some adjustments on the doors and a panel and Larry came out and was one of the nicest people we had ever dealt with. He was here to do anything I wanted!! He made the adjustments and added trim as if it was HIS kitchen! I thought I loved the cupboards but now I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them. The Kitchen Showcase does and excellent job. We were doing a total remodel of our home. Cabinets would be a large part of our budget. After looking at magazines, and multiple designers The Kitchen Showcase was perfect. We went in their show room and the designers took us through explaining how the had many levels of cabinets to choose from. Believe it or not I was able to pick a higher quality cabinet than custom homes have in them. I saved over $10,000.00 from all the other places I went. I now have beautiful cabinets in my kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room. They definitely added value to my home. Kitchen Showcase outperforms so many other businesses. How about a company that installs beautiful crafted custom cabinets in 2009. They say they have a lifetime warranty. In 2013 they come out to our home and adjust any cabinets that have loosened. Then in 2021 a sliding cabinet gets loose and that cabinet is no longer functional. Brian is so good and listens well to his customers. Within hours he responds that he is sending a tech to repair that cabinet. So he sends Larry B to handle the repair. Larry B fixes the cabinet and then checks every other cabinet, replacing old bumpers and making sure all cabinets are tight. I chose Kitchen Showcase to purchase new cabinets for my kitchen. Tim Noe was my designer. He did a fantastic job with my kitchen design. My old kitchen had very little counter space and not enough cabinets. Tim was able to create a fabulous design and increased my counter and work space immensely. The layout of my cabinets is perfect and I have a great work flow. I couldn't be happier. After the cabinet installation, we had some damage to two cabinets caused by the company who did our counter install. Fess came out to do the repairs and he did a great job. we bought the house late 2018 , got it remodeled during 2019 , 2020. got caught by the lockdown in early 2020 so we didn't get moved til dec 2020. found some issues with the installation of our kitchen cabinets and called for technician visit for what we considered warranty work ( even though cabinets had been in over a year ) and larry made an appointment , showed up on time and did a great job. he also showed us how to change door closing speed and change the height of the cabinet shelves ( they are shipped with something that keeps the shelves from moving during the move ). all in all if for no other reason than larry works for them we would /will get our next cabinets from the kitchen showcase. read more
