I could not be happier with the quartzite countertops that Prime Granite Works installed in my kitchen. I contacted over 15 quartzite installers in Denver, and Manny at Prime Granite Works was the first to reach out to me and volunteered to come to my home and measure in person the same day. His professionalism, modern measuring equipment, and emphasis on customer service won me over and he got the job. He always texted me when he was on his way and kept the project on time. The actual install was a lot of work because I wanted the quartzite to go all the way up the wall instead of having a backsplash. His team created a template to make it happen and had enough installers to get the job done fast. He came out after the project to seal the countertops and brought me 2 beautiful trays made out of the leftover quartzite. I was just so impressed with his whole operation. When renovating a kitchen, you deal with so many vendors, with lots of varying skill and follow through, and Manny and his team were truly at the top of the kitchen professionals. Where to start! I was recommended to this company (PGW) by a contractor with known integrity, and therefore proceeded with a handshake. I additionally paid with checks. I should have used a credit card, given credit card companies will back you. I chose a Granite countertop that busted during installation. I was not told it busted, and was requested to pay the balance in full when the installer departed, without being given a receipt. I did. I shortly after saw the counter had busted completely in half during installation. I was not informed of this when it occurred. Frankly, it should have never been installed. Upon management coming out to inspect it, I requested it be replaced. They agreed, said they would cover the installation, but requested I still pay for the busted stone. I did some haggling, and they reduced my responsibility to half the stones price. Down the line, when I finally received a copy of my final bill (though already paid), they had stated conditions listed on it, one being, they are not responsible for damage to material not purchased through them. I purchased the material through them. I was given, and agreed to at the onset, a flat fee for their services. Upon receiving the final bill, there were multiple added service charges never previously presented to me verbally, or written. I chose a new material as my counter, and verbally agreed to a price with PGW in the warehouse at that time. Upon receiving the final bill, the charge for that material increased close to 20%. When this new material was installed, though it was the same product, it was not from the same lot I chose from, and the color of the new material was far lighter that what I had chosen at the warehouse. I was not given that information prior to its installation, nor the opportunity to approve it. Also, there was a cut made to the stone, where it abuts the stovetop. The cut was crooked. They came out and did their bet to correct it, but to fully correct it, would have rendered the countertop too short. I was told the entire job would take a week to 10 days. I certainly understood installation of another stone would take additional time, but not a month. I was left without countertops for much of the time, as well as near constant cleaning (I resided in the property). Additionally, The top of my dishwasher was scraped, and the new stainless steel sink I purchased through them was scuffed- they took sand paper to it as a solution. I was not satisfied with the distinct color variance of the installed material. Had I any faith in the PGW, I would have requested they remove the 2nd material, and replace it with a product, and color I approved. I purchased tile through PGW, and ended up returning it, given I thought it was porcelain, and it was not. I was charged a written, and agreed upon, return shelving fee by the tile company. I know longer wanted any dealings with PGW's, figuring any change to what I currently have , would be better achieved though another organization. I requested an adjustment/refund to my bill for reimbursement of unauthorized charges I incurred. Those being: the remain balance from the returned tile; charge for the busted counter (stated not my responsibility in their later revealed written policy); added unknown, and unauthorized charges for their service; inflated pricing of our verbally agreed upon cost of the 2nd material installed. I forgave the distinct color variance of the material, damage to my dishwasher and sink, and the compromised cut abutting my stove. 5 months later, after numerous emails to PGW, including documentation supporting all the above, I received my refund. read more

Absolutely Poor Customer and Installation Services at it's best!!!! If you want to save your nervous system, money, time and dignity, NEVER, EVER go with this company!!!! They came to my condo last summer to do the measurements and seemed very nice people. It's a young couple, Sergey and Irina, who are the owners of this little local company. First, what I didn't like was their communication manner. When they needed a check for the job they hadn't even started, they were calling me 5 times a day to get the money but when it came to the due date for the work that was supposed to be completed I couldn't get a hold of anyone. That's how this story began. Then came the worst part!!! The actual LABOR and INSTALATION !! No,no, I should word it right, so people will not feel dumb and frustrated as I do. This is not INSTALATION...this is pathetic unprofessional crappy trial to install the kitchen, they MESSED UP all cabinets you spend at least $13k on... I don't know even what to start with... Fisrt, ALL cabinets doors were hung not meeting with each other in the center where they are supposed to, plus, with the wrong screws that of course, messed up the wood. They made tens and hundreds of holes in the wood inside the cabinets for no reason for it. The outside wood panel siding on my island looked like tens of cowboys were practising with their guns on that piece of wood...all holed with nails. They have no idea how to do that installation at all!! But they charge you arm and leg for the services they have no idea how to do at all. I had to ask them to come back 3 times to re-do those doors... Second, they didn't meausure right..I was so frustrated when Home Depot delivered my appliances for my new kitchen and they didn't fit, cause..no one even bothered to ask me what type of fridge I am buying.I called Sergey and said that his guys need to come back and lift up the doors that were hung wrong. He didn't appologize,instead he sent me a guy who had no idea and time what to do with those cabinets at all and constantly was asking my boyfriend if he knows how to do them, which was RIDICULOUS!!!!! During instalation of the granite, they broke it during transportation so now I have a "lovely inside cracks" of the quartz side granite, one of the most expensive ones...even the re-polishing didn't help to fix those scracthes, because the granite was tranported in a neglecting manner, I guess.. like everything coming out from this company. After installation no one even bothered to clean the area they have been working on. They were cutting, putting up the cabinets together, sawing the wood on the stairs case that is PUBLIC and you will not believe it, but they left all the wood chips, dust, trash there, in a public area of my building, so I was the one who was sweeping the cement, cause my neighbours were giving me "mad looks"and that's all for the money I paid for it UPFRONT!! When they came with instalation of the granite, the final phase of the kitchen, I had a guy who just redid my hard wood floors and covered it ALL with the big sheets of paper, so it stays clean and scratch-free.. yeap, right!!! These guys were wearing their sneakers I guess with the rocks on their soles, cause after they were gone I discovered a lot of ripped paper on the floor and of course, scratches on my brand new hard wood floors.. Another proof how much they "care".. The bottom line is ...after a couple of months one of the doors of the cabinet came off completely because of the lousy screws they put them in. I called Sergey telling what's going on, he said he will send someone to fix without mentioning when it's going to happen. And that's it! No one ever bothered to call me back the next day, even after I left a voicemail on Irina's phone. No suprise after all the nightmare I had with this crappy company! By the way, when the work was compeleted they were holding my home key for a couple of weeks, so I had to ask the granite guy who rents the building with them to get it for me, which was ABSOLUTELY ridiculous! IMPORTANT FOR ALL FUTURE COSTUMERS. DO NOT CONTRACT this company FOR ANYTHING. p.s. Irina sent me an email today regarding this review asking to remove it and put a positive feedback and only in this case they will send "once upon a time" a guy who is going to fix the cabinets. Here we come again with the conclusion what kind of people they are. She sent her email to me, nothing but lies about the facts of our lousy kitchen installation agreement. She blamed me for calling her, attention, at her "cell phone number", not the office number that we never even used it during "writing of the checks" time, that I didn't measure my fridge right, etc.I dont even want to continue. I am writing this review only to help others not to be scammed like me. Because if I had any reviews at the moment I was looking for a company to do my kitchen I would NEVER-EVER choose this company!
