Overall good place for a buffet. The earlier you go the better the food. Sometimes the food is a little salty but it def good. I love the seafood buffet. Many options to choose from. They are usually always offering some type of special. The service could be better just because I always have empty plates sitting on the table and it takes a while for refills but other then that it's a nice buffet

    Receipt.

The food is good. The pricing is often at times unclear I don't always have my "discounts" applied as a Diamond member. During the weekday the service is top tier but busy days...absolutely avoiding. We sat and didn't have our drinks and a lady in a black suit heard me and went to get our sodas personally. She asked the lady about our sodas, the lady told her that we switched our drinks from tea to Pepsi which was a lie. It's on our receipts. I hate when ppl don't do what they are suppose to but don't lie on the customers. I'm already upset I loss a lot of money. But don't lie on me. I need a break from yall. My husband agreed. I hope it gets better because the perks for Diamond members aren't all great as is...

I'm not one for physical touch from someone I don't know, so this caught me off guard.

They have a buffet and they have a couple of other restaurants that you can buy food from here at this location. I am used to going to casinos in California in Nevada, but not here in Arkansas. I was very impressed at how kind the staff was when we arrived. Everybody was customer service, friendly, and really wanted to make you feel like you were a valued guest. The ladies at the players club were professional about signing us all up because I came with a group. The machines are clean and they aren't sticky, which is a plus at a casino. I also thought that the dealers all looked very professional in they were ready and waiting for customers to sit down for games. There were so many pretty lights in the casino and it really highlighted the gaming floor. They have a hotel here, which is impressive. One of the negative things that I found out about was the bathrooms in the casino. When I walked in, there was a stench and stale smell of old urine. It seems that the cleaning person had just mopped the floor and had used an old mop because it smelled like old stale urine. I was so frustrated about this that, when I got outside of the restroom, I double and tripled wiped my shoes on the casino carpet just to get that smell out of the soles. Overall, this is a nice casino. I just had a couple of issues with not winning and the smelly bathroom floor.

Let me start by saying the hotel front staff was top of the line. I still remember the lady who…read morechecked us in--"Kae." Even though we arrived late, my partner and I were so pleased with her quick and friendly service. She shared a few short stories, laughs, and her energy was truly the highlight of our night. The casino floor was grand--definitely gave Vegas vibes--with a lot of options. Even on a busy weekend night, it never felt claustrophobic like other places I've been. Now, the main reason I visited Southland was for the buffet--and man, it was amazing. I sat there for over an hour enjoying fresh, hot, delicious food. The buffet was very well put together: clean, well-staffed, and full of great hospitality. Southland Casino Resort literally has everything you need for a great experience. Plus, being only about 10 minutes from downtown Memphis gave my partner and me even more places to explore. We can't wait to visit again soon.

The open display of beautifully aged, hand-cut steaks immediately sets the tone, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to premium quality before you even take your seat. Tripadvisor +1 The Blood Orange Old Fashioned was nothing short of extraordinary. Perfectly balanced with warm bourbon notes, bright citrus, and just the right touch of sweetness, every sip was smooth, bold, and incredibly refined. It's easily one of the best Old Fashioneds I've had and a cocktail I'd return for again and again. The bone-in steak was cooked to a flawless medium, boasting a beautiful char on the outside while remaining tender, juicy, and packed with rich beef flavor. Every bite reflected expert craftsmanship and respect for the quality of the meat. The salmon was equally impressive--crispy on the outside, moist and buttery inside, topped with a savory crumb topping that elevated the dish without overpowering it. Paired with creamy herb potatoes, roasted cauliflower, and fresh kale, the plate was elegant, balanced, and thoughtfully composed. Even the warm artisan bread was a standout, arriving fresh and perfectly crisp on the outside with a soft, pillowy center. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale and comfortable, making it ideal for date nights, celebrations, or simply treating yourself to an exceptional meal. Chef's kiss to Ignite Steakhouse! Premium ingredients, impeccable execution, exceptional cocktails, and a dining experience that exceeds expectations. Without question, this earns a 5 out of 5 stars and has secured a place on my list of top steakhouses in the Mid-South.

They have a salad bar and then the meats travel to you. With the AC out, they've got only one marker per table but usually it's one per person. You can request whatever cooked how you want and they will try and bring it to you before they go around and present it to everyone else as well. My favorite way to eat meat is rare or medium rare, but I tend to grab whatever comes around that is a meat I want, regardless of how it's cooked. They have different meats for lunch and dinner but my family has found we enjoy dinner the most. They bring parmesan cheese bread, garlic mashed potatoes, and sweet fried bananas to the table and will bring more of each out as you finish. You can also order sides of stuff, such as my sister ordering french fries on our most recent trip. The salad bar is really good with lots of excellent stuff to enhance your meal. Weirdly enough I don't like the Lobster Bisque on the salad bar by itself but I absolutely am addicted if I add the white rice next to it to it. I'm not sure if that's what they intended people to do or not but my weird little self is obsessed. The sushi is also delicious but I'm not sure if they still serve it. The salmon they served was amazing and I hope they keep it. I love coming here and I hope we get to return!
