Honey bee that was cooked in with the broccoli.

We always order from here, but tonight we found a bee in our beef and broccoli. Called and no one understood the issue and they were very rude. We were placed on hold and they never came back to the phone.

For what they charge for each item, I feel the value is lacking...This should be buffet food.

The food is generally good but it can be hit or miss. It's worth a try. Maybe it will be a good day there.

This was soft serve and they did have ice cream so they kept asking, "One, two, or three scoops?" To which we replied with three fingers and a grin. But please add malt was met with they could sprinkle it on top. To which our smiles became frowns. "Can't you just shake it up in the glass or in the mixer? We queried. No that would be soft serve was the answer. They do have real ice cream too. We were a bit slow on the uptake, and our sweet counter girl, Emily, who was in her 20s but looked 15, patiently explained the ice cream came in a cup and the milk shakes were soft serve only, because evidently their shake machine can't handle the hard real stuff. We caved, got soft serve. We wanted malts not ice cream sprinkled with malt. *sigh.* Bella, Michael and Kennedy looked on, in training with our youthful trainer, and Kennedy remarked, "You're living on the edge," It was her first day. The place also had other retro food, except for the seed oils, which meant shakes only for us.

The broth has a slightly sweet flavor that I personally really enjoy. Their salted lemonade is really fresh and refreshing, it's a must-order every time I visit! My only complaint is the portion size. The bowls are a bit small. As a female, I need to order a large to feel full. Most males may probably want to order an appetizer or another dish on the side. Service is pretty much the same as it was at the old Vietnamese Restaurant, minimal and not particularly attentive. Overall, the food keeps me coming back, especially the pho and salted lemonade. Four stars.

What a lovely and well seasoned experience. I don't write reviews often but this experience hit different. Please be kind to restaurant staff. Food tastes better when you have a good heart.

The actual restaurant is beautiful and the moody lighting and colorful decor was cool and hip. Do kids still say hip? Whatever, it was hip. Ask for their house made pepper/fish sauce to drizzle on top Coming from Atlanta where the Vietnamese is exceptional, I've really struggled in Memphis to find that amazing spot to get my Viet fix. The cocktails we chose were delicious. Great presentation on all dishes. We enjoyed everything this evening, and loved the special birthday greeting card placed at our table prior to being seated. A great personal touch.
