Amy Kite and her team were a nightmare that I was afraid I'd run into.
It took me some time to get my home ready for sale and when it was ready to go...crickets. No response, no care for the listing, and as a first-time home seller, no care for me. They slapped a lockbox on my house and allowed people to walk around as they please. They also sent someone to my house while I was home to drop off some fliers (i had to beg them for a feature packet) and their person just tries to walk into the house. I guess they had no idea I live in my house? Fortunately, their team member couldn't remember how to turn a key and he couldn't get in. My Rottweilers would have attacked this man had he entered my home. Why did he not know this was my home and at 5 pm I might be home.
I learned that Amy markets her business in a way that you believe you have her as the representative for your home, she is not and you will never see her again. She gets the listing and hands it off to her agents who are inexperienced and carefree.
Sure she is on the radio, she pays for those spots and makes them sound like she is a guest on some show. Tacky marketing skill that is so obvious.
You could compare her to a used car salesperson and would have a great idea of how she operates.
If you need any hand-holding whatsoever, Amy Kite Team is not the team for you. I started out low maintenance but after seeing how we were treated I wanted more attention to my home and its sale.
If all you can do as a company is put a lockbox on my door and throw me up on MLS that's great. That is not how you treat a listing.
It was a disgusting experience putting me many months behind schedule and regretting that I ever heard her commercial.
I was able to learn fast and run! I dropped them and now find myself looking for an agent who cares. Do they exist?
If you want to buy a used car, call Amy. If you want to sell your home, do your research and look into someone better that cares. Amy doesn't, Paul doesn't and her team (?) is a joke. read more
