Judging Vegan food is multifaceted. Are we looking to replace animal-based foods while keeping the taste? Are we looking to expand our palate? Both? Is it ethical? Is it health based? The Krazy Vegan may be accomplishing several of these goals!But for me, as an omnivore layman, the focus is on replacement. If I didn't know I was eating a vegan cheeseburger, I would have assumed I was eating cow meat & cheese! For a basic cheeseburger, my burger was an almost perfect doppelgänger for a McDonald's cheeseburger. Tastier than Burger Fi. Not a gut bomb like The Habit. The "meat" portion was relatively small from a meat-to-bun ratio. But, the flavor in each bite blended perfectly. My son said he tasted some slight smokiness like a bacon flavor. I didn't catch that. A quick bite, but satisfying. The fries were great! This one is easy to judge without much hemming and hawing. We're talking about potatoes after all. They crispy on the outside & tender on the inside. The ketchup was a little sweeter than I'm used to, but still paired well. The service was great. The lady at front counter took time to explain the menu and the cuisine. She even pointed out some of their more popular dishes and encouraged us to try the Philly cheesesteak next time we visit. The ambience was clean and simple. Very reminiscent of any other fast food spot with perhaps a bit more of a modern decor. Definitely inviting. Whether you are vegan or not, I encourage you to check this place out. This area could definitely use a spot that is friendly to meat-free diets. But also, a neighborhood burger spot is always welcome. And if the rest of their menu is as indistinguishable from traditional fast food as what I tried, then Krazy Vegan should definitely be in our rotation. read more

I happened upon this spot while in the Publix plaza and at the time, they were closed but there were other people standing out front disappointed that they weren't open so I asked them about the food. One of the women told me the food is delicious and another woman said she'd never been there but that her friend told her about it. So I made it a point to return the following day. I arrived around 5 pm this time so I can make sure they were open (They don't have closing time listed on the door yet). I already knew I wanted the Krazy Wings in BBQ sauce. These wings are shaped like real drummettes and they have a stick of sugar cane in the center which is the mock "bone" (and technically makes the entire thing edible). I order these wings all the time from a vegan online grocer so I'm pretty familiar with them. The wings come with an order of fries. Next time I will order a burger or chickn sandwich. Everything looks so good. If you are a vegan or curious to try vegan food, stop in and give them a try. read more

Got introduced to them from Thursday food truck at Pembroke Lakes and have been hooked since. During this Lent season I was truly thankful they opened a location near my job. Stopped in to check out the new place in town. Ordered the steak and cheese. Delicious! There was some confusion with the order since we wanted our sandwich with no peppers but 30 minutes later we had our order. Prices were kinda of high, sandwich, fries and a drink $36. The place was modern and comfortable. Service was good but a little slow. Probably because they just opened in this location. I'll stop by again and have something else on the menu. So we order 3 different sandwhiches. We waited 45 mins for our takeout Order. Ubers we're coming in and I hear, "your order is still not ready" Alarmed I walk up to the girl and ask if someone went to Philadelphia for my Philly sandwhich??? She was confused about the question I finally share some constructive criticism with her and advise that in the future if the kitchen is backed up with orders, she should advise the customer that there is a delay and if they don't mind waiting. I Believe 45 minutes without any heads up is unreasonable for anyone. Her reply was.... "I'm only a cashier" so we have several problems here; no communication with the kitchen and the front desk, no customer service or common sense to advise the customer the cashier only thinks of herself as quote " I'm only a cashier." Management needs to train their employees better, because although she is only the cashier, she needs common sense when everybody sitting there looking at her wondering what's taking so long with their "order Management heads up you're not going to last there if you do t have better training and no concern for your customers. 45 mins and honestly, it wasn't worth the wait. read more

The food was absolutely amazing but the wait time. was horrible when we finally got our food I almost felt guilty eating it in front of the family that ordered before us. Never let vegan food catch my eye before, but this place definitely has me reconsidering! When you try the food, the question isn't if it's good, but how it could taste so much like meat! My wife and I visited this restaurant for the first time on 2/15/2024. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The place was clean. The prices are too high $19.95 for a sandwich, $3.25 for a bottled water. The service was terrible. The dine-in food was served in a large paper bag wrapped in foil, no napkins, no cutlery, no plate, no tray. When I asked for a napkin, the cashier/hostess indicated that the manager had just gone out to get them and she tore off a piece of a paper towel. During my meal I had request a second paper towel. Mind you that Publix supermarket is just a few doors away, about a 60 second walk. The last time I checked their shelves were well stocked with napkins and cutlery. During our entire 40minute stay in the restaurant napkins were never available. I would have felt better about the pricing if the service was not so bad. read more

The food is good but management needs to reconsider staff. Twice i've gone here past 8pm on a weekday and it's been open. Today I went in (both website and the times listed on the door say it is open until 9pm) after trying to order online and encountering issues. I walked in (door was unlocked and the open sign still lit up) and the girl behind cash register said "sorry we closed already." Ok but why last week did i come in at this time and you all were open? Don't restaurants lock their doors once they close? I got the feeling the workers just wanted to leave early and decided to shut down the restaurant. It's really unprofessional, and i would recommend for management to look into this. I waited in the parking lot after ordering from next door and ended up being there until 8:40, and the open sign was still lit up and door still open. A few people walked in and then out and i'm sure were told the same thing "we're closed." It's so bizarre that, given what the girl behind the counter said being true, they wouldn't lock the doors after me nor turn the open sign off. Most likely is just lazy staff trying to close down the restaurant before it actually closes. read more
