We lived at RedTail for about a year and it was an amazing experience…read more We were asked to move out of our rental home and only given 2 weeks notice. We found RedTail within days and were able to move in within a week with our two kiddos and dog. RedTail made an extremely tumulus time in our lives a lot easier. The maintenance men are incredible, kind, and courteous, the office staff are super nice and understanding, and completely fair with giving back a reasonable amount of our deposit. The pool and communal areas are gorgeous and well maintained, the rental units themselves spacious and up to date... I truly have nothing negative to say. We were pretty skeptical and hesitant to move back into an apartment after being in a house for years, but hindsight, there are no regrets and we're happy to have found them! The only thing to be cautious of, is if you have young school age children, the community does have a little gaggle of bullies with a ringleader, that made my oldest not want to play outside for the last 7 months we were there, but that's the parents responsibility, not the complexes.

This is a tough one. I loved living here as did my 7 year old daughter. The property manager,…read moreTia, was an absolute delight. She was helpful, friendly, and someone my daughter and I enjoyed interacting with. She was replaced during my time there by Danielle, who seemed nice enough, but did not get to know her as well. Cody, the maintenance manager was also really great. If there was a problem, and there were very few, it was quickly resolved. I did have one negative note that soured my experience of living there a combined 3 years. Upon move out, $12 of my $400 security deposit was returned. For that, I would probably not return, even if my circumstances were such that I needed to rent again. Here's the problem: during the last walk through, I was told by the management that not only had I been a model resident, but I had left the apartment nearly move in ready. I'm a clean person. My daughter and I cleaned together on a weekly basis. They made a point to remark on how clean the carpets were as well. The only thing the maintenance staff would have needed to do is spackle a few holes from pictures I had hung and a quick patch of paint. I had even left brightly colored post-it notes by each hole so they would be easy to spot and tidy up. My problem isn't that they didn't refund my security deposit, my problem is that they called it a "security deposit" in the first place. Had they told me from inception of the lease that I wouldn't be refunded, I could have lived with that. The fact that they called it a security deposit, told me what a clean/model resident I had been, and then refunded $12, shows a lack of integrity. I lived here for a year previos to my recent 2 years, and when I moved out that time got most of my security deposit back. In short, the apartment and the other amenities on the property were great, however, when it came time to demonstrate integrity and honesty, they did not. I would not rent from any of the properties managed by this company. Very disappointed by how things ended there. Only giving 2 stars, one for Cody and Tia, and one for the physical property. Withholding 3 stars for lack of integrity, because integrity matters.
