The atmosphere is pleasant and it's not super loud which is nice so we can talk during dinner. Our waitress was on top of her game tonight. She took drink order and was back in a flash with craft beer, wine , and a sweet tea! We then ordered. I had the smash burger double patty and fries. My best friend had the fish and chips. My best friends wife had the cheeseburger and fries The food was out super quick and it was super hot!!!! The food was great. The fries are flat and thin and that was the table favorite. All the food was good. The only thing we would change would maybe toast the buns of the hamburgers. The First Seat is named due to Benton county being the first county seat when Arkansas became a state.

No question about splitting us into smaller groups or any attempt to accommodate us. We weren't looking for a table or food just coming in for drinks. Seemed like an easy solution and a lot of business to turn away. Also not nice clientele, laughed at us when we walked in?

The tree shade and a can of Outlaw Light brew were much reprieve. The employee who served as our cashier, bartender, and waiter gave our dog a treat when we ordered. Order inside. Pay. Receive a buzzing pager to pick up your food. + Shrimp Po' Boy ($14) with a side of pasta salad (my youngest loved this) + Some kind of bbq sandwich with a side of chips... my oldest daughter must have loved it because she only offered our dog a piece of meat! + Cali Chicken sandwich with avocado, chicken, herb mayo, provolone, red onions, & sprouts ($12) paired with a pasta salad. Scrumptious! Live music every Friday night. Some street parking. Otherwise there are several parking lots within walking distance in the area - at least one was free after 5 pm. Cool place with fun vibes. RATING BREAKDOWN Food: 5 | Service: 5 | Ambiance: 4 | Price: 4

We were exhausted and this was a spot that was on my list to hit up while we were there. Walking up it looked like a small, old house that was decorated with tiki torches and lights. Our kind of place. When we got inside there was fun music playing, tons of people in line, a chalkboard menu with drinks and bites and fun, talkative bartenders. We grabbed some food and ordered drinks and headed out back. There was a DJ that evening and a lively dance floor. Tables were set up in the back yard space and it was hard for us to find a spot! We finally squeezed in with a few other people at a picnic table and ended up making some really fun friends! The food and drinks were fantastic and the whole atmosphere was just so fun. Highly recommend this being a top 5 spot on your list if you're visiting Bentonville!

When you arrive there is parking around the square or in the lot to the side of the restaurant. As I mentioned earlier it feels like an upscale pub when you walk in, but this is also a historic building. Tusk & Trotter sits where Sam Walton's original general office and warehouse was located. We sat in the bar area as we also stopped by the restaurant during happy hour. For food we started with the Arkansas Fritters (Ralston Family Farms rice with ground beef, house-made sausage, parmesan, sun-dried tomatoes, dill & lemon chipotle remoulade & chow chow) which were packed with so much flavor. For our entrees we ordered where the Buffalo roam (Sayersbrook Bison Ranch patty, brioche bun, cheddar, swiss, bacon, chipotle aioli, over easy egg & LTOP) which is definitely the highlight with a side of fries. The burger fell apart and you could tell it was extremely fresh. If you are in Bentonville, this is a must try!
