The bread was awful. Maybe it's my fault because I didn't want it toasted but the first sandwich I ordered was not just dry, it tasted like it was a few hours from turning moldy. Just wrong. They remade it with a good attitude, and the bread was so dry it just crumbled apart and was dry enough to choke on. I ate half with no bread. Two stars for ok service and a decent amount of meat. I forgot to add mozzarella and when I asked to add it, I was told my sandwich "was already on the other side" er, it's 6 steps and the cheese is right there. The guy on the other side did it but wow. The ambience was fine. Clean space. Since the place has pickle in the name I expected at least a small side spear like most other delis or a variety of pickles for sale. Neither of those things is true. Just odd. 1 sandwich 1 single serving of chips and a 12 oz drink was almost 18 dollars. I will never go back. read more

Driven by here a few times since moving to NWA. Decided to try it today for lunch. Underwhelmed is an understatement. Not a big eater but the meat to bread ratio is wild and not in a good way. Im the baker in a prominent steak house in Bentonville. Three times we've ordered sandwiches for our crew, three times its been a joke. The bread is actually ok, the portions are less than Subway. Do you employees give a damn? Maybe an ounce of meat and cheese. It's not even distributed evenly on the bread. Pathetic if I'm being generous. I'd fire everyone if I was the KM. This place is SOLID! From the customer service given by Shay, to the quality of the fresh ingredients I have to say I was very impressed. The place is really clean, the staff is very helpful and patient (newbies here so we had all of the questions lol) I was expect to eat only half on my sandwich but so glad I went ahead and ordered the whole thing, because I ate the entire thing! Food was eh and service was worse. The girl at the sandwich counter looked like she couldn't care less about being there. Had to restate our entire order for 3 people once we got to the cashier at the end of the line. My BLTC was mostly lettuce and very sad and disappointing. Beware. They will charge you more than the prices on the menu board. Ask for a receipt and check it. The menu board says soup is $5.99 but looked at my receipt and was charged $6.99. Soup was cold. Had to ask them to warm it for me. My husband had already finished his meal by the time they warmed my soup and gave it back to me. read more

Was craving a sandwich but was talked into pizza when we arrived. It was way better than expected. 12" is a perfect size for two people, we even had left overs. Daughter liked the side of Mac and cheese too but it seems pretty pricey for the size. Add one drink and it was about $25 for dinner. Super friendly, fast service in a clean atmosphere. We've driven by this place several times but finally stopped in to check it out. Glad we tried it, and here is our overall review with pros and cons: Pros: - Mayo has great flavor, makes for a very tasty sandwich - the staff was nice (unlike most of the reviews here) and followed all of our instructions on how we wanted our meal prepared - pizza was thin crust and crispy. We ended up taking several pieces home because I couldn't eat it all - cookies were good, chocolate and chewy - like a slightly more delicious version of a Subway cookie - staff were wearing masks for pandemic considerations which was nice Cons: - the sandwich was pretty small for the price - smaller than what you'd get at a place like Firehouse or Jersey Mike's at the same price - not a ton of difference in flavor - everything was extra: a drink was an additional $2.59 (a little steep & not even a combo), pickles are not included with the sandwich btw - one of the staff members wipes his nose with the same gloved hand he was prepping the sandwiches with - normally wouldn't be a big deal but with pandemic it matters a little more Overall I'm glad we went, we had a nice meal - both the pizza and sandwich were tasty with a nice cookie finish. Well first visit. Place smells amazing when you walk in. I ordered a meatball sub and half a pickle. The pickle was delicious, crisp and flavorful it won't disappoint. The meatball sandwich somewhat disappointingly. First off they put it through the oven and then wrap it in paper. I was not thrilled to have to pick the paper as it torn from my sandwich. Secondly, the meatballs were tasty but in general there was not enough marinara or tomato to balance out the sandwich. Probably would not order again. We went to this restaurant in the mid afternoon. They weren't very busy but they had a steady stream of customers. We had a pepperoni pizza and a veggie sandwich with tomato bisque soup and a cookie. All the food was very good. It's mostly a self service restaurant. Restaurant was clean. Very polite staff. Food came out pretty quick. read more

My husband and I came here twice in three days! It is soooo good. The sandwiches are definitely the best. Their pizza is decent and their salads are super good too. The vibe inside is cute and updated. The first time we came, the staff was not super friendly or helpful, but the second day the staff was really friendly and helpful so it's a little touch and go with he service you will get, but the food was the same both days. I was craving a sandwich after just finishing up a walk on the trail nearby with my kids. I needed something convenient and quick. I placed an order online and luckily our food was prepared and ready quickly. I believe at the time they were only doing curbside orders (possibly delivery, not sure), so I pulled up and parked out front. There were other people parked out front as well. No one came to my car, but I called the number that was on the door and they brought my food out to me. Their sandwiches are a typical sub place, where you can order one of the ones off the menu or build your own. I usually build my own. We all enjoyed our sandwiches that day! read more

Great deli for soup, sandwiches and pizza. On our first visit I was intrigued by the Italian beef sandwich. As a Chicago native I was skeptical. The meat was the real deal. Served on a lovely toasted ciabatta style roll and served with au jus it was excellent. My son snagged an Italian deli meat sandwich and we ended up sharing--his sandwich was also excellent. A few days later I went back and had pizza. Although a little pricey, the ingredients were good quality and the crust very thin. Can't wait to go back when the weather cools to try the soup offerings. The atmosphere is neat. We love Pickleman's!!!! read more
