I made an appointment online ahead of time with Julie. When I arrived, I told them I had an appointment and was asked to sit down. About 10 minutes later, they told me they *didn't have my appointment*. I even showed them my confirmation and confirmed the address, and instead of taking responsibility, they asked if I was at the right salon. At that point, they asked if someone else could do my nails since my appointment "wasn't there." I agreed, but honestly, I should have left. I was seated with Mai. I came in with long, natural nails that I really loved. She asked if I wanted them shorter and I said, "just a tiny bit shorter." Before I could even clarify, she immediately grabbed the clippers and cut one of my nails way too short without checking. I was shocked. When I told her how upset I was, she just said "sorry" and continued cutting the rest of my nails down basically in half. I was honestly devastated. Then came the color issue. I originally picked a yellow but changed my mind because with my nails now so short, I wanted something I felt better about. I asked for a purple shade. She brought over a color board, I picked one, and then suddenly I'm told it's $5 extra. Why bring me an upcharge option without saying anything, especially after everything that already happened? The colors weren't even anything special. I declined and picked something similar that wasn't extra. The quality of the service just kept going downhill. The polish was messy, getting into my cuticles, and she didn't clean it up before curing. She also applied two coats of top coat on one hand and only one on the other. Overall, this experience was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. The lack of communication, poor technique, and disregard for what I asked for was unacceptable. Also, for the record - I *did* have an appointment, as I received both a confirmation and a follow-up "please leave a review" text afterward. I will not be returning. I would strongly recommend going somewhere else unless you're specifically seeing Julie, and even then, don't count on your appointment being honored.

I was looking for a salon that does powder dip because the salon I have been going to for years does not offer that service When I arrived, I told the gentleman that greeted me that I had booked Kevin, and he showed me which pedicure chair to sit in. Vincent came to do my pedicure and told me Kevin was busy. Amy came and said she would do my manicure, so I told her I booked Kevin. She told me they all do the same work.. Vincent did a horrible job on my nails. And, I asked for the cuticle removed. Well, it was nothing like I had before. He poured some liquid on my foot and it burned my foot!The filing was rough and not the shade I wanted. He hardly cut my cuticles even though I insisted. Horrible job. I almost left, but when I asked one more time about my appointment with Kevin, I was told he would do manicure, and he did. Kevin did a beautiful job with the powder dip. I tipped Kevin quite generously and I gave Vincent a good tip. I see that Lotus Nails guarantees their work so, I will be calling them. After I left, I realized that I did not get my 15% that I signed up for on their website. I will be going back to see Kevin only. Hopefully he can fix my pedicure. Also one thing that would be helpful would be for them to publish their prices. The salon I used to go to, Pacific Nails charges $45 for a basic manicure & pedicure, which also includes a great foot massage. The basic pedicure & powder dip here was $95!

There are 2 TVs on playing foodie adventures and specialty drink videos - I was definitely hungry and craving boba after My nail lady seemed to have a difficult time applying the gel on my toes and was constantly cleaning up the edges - not sure if she was newer - but they did turn out cute, but with gel on my cuticles. My pedicure came with a callus treatment and then she brought out the CHEESE GRATER/ FOOT RASP. That's when I decided I will not be coming back for a pedicure. The man was extremely rough with my arms and hands and raised his voice at me multiple times. The "massage" portion of the manicure was so rough and jerky that he hit my elbow into the table multiple times, my boyfriend who was watching from the front thought he was "disinfecting my arms" and I think that tells you everything you need to know when pushing back my cuticle he was extremely rough as well. Wasn't spoken to or made eye contact with the entire time. As someone with anxiety this was the most stressful experience ever. Besides all of that, the nails themselves are messy and unprofessional.
