I've been coming to the lash bar for a couple of months now and my lash tech is Juliana, she does AMAZING with my lashes. I decided to try this place after not being happy with my previous lash tech and I think it was the best decision I could've made. I've never been so happy with how my lashes come out until now. Juliana is sweet, she was very talkative from the start as if we had known each other for decades. She's professional and very clean. What I love is that she gives me the lash brush after every appointment so I know the tools aren't being reused on clients. My aunt went here for her lashes. Please see the attached photo. She is in pain - they were installed incorrectly and are causing her eyes to water. They are spaced out, poorly applied, and overall disappointing. Got my eyelashes done yesterday and a bunch have already fallen out , went here because my regular lash lady was not around and I have been getting my lashes done for a while . My extensions were clumpy and ripped out my natural eyelashes . The lash tec did not isolate my eyelashes so all of them were stuck together and were very irritating. I think the way the owner responds to all these negative reviews just goes to show that this place is unprofessional and a terrible option for lashes/aesthetician work. As noted, I've gotten my eyebrows tinted many times before and they have NEVER been the dark brown they left me with. Either the owner is an outright liar or entirely inexperienced to believe this is a normal shade to match my hair. And again, the pictures I have attached are after the technician tried removing some of the tint and after multiple attempts to remove it myself. If I had let them fade normally, they would've been dark brown for weeks. I shouldn't have to rub my eyebrows until my skin is red to reduce the pigment - it's supposed to fade over time. I will not go to another lash salon. I have in the past and the service and lashes don't compare. I go every two weeks but did stop when I was pregnant because I couldn't lay down for that long but I was itching to go back as soon as I could. Everyone in the salon is so nice and friendly and most get the job done fairly quick. I do schedule in advance because it can be hard to get times that you need but that's pretty normal and they are very accommodating if you have specific times that work! read more

If I could give no stars I would. Called on Wednesday to make an appointment for a full set and no one answered. Next day they texted me asking if I wanted to make an appointment. I asked if they had any cancellations for that day and they told me they did not. I decided later on in the day to call and see if they had any cancellations and they told me to go right down and they could see me. Denise did my full set of eyelash extensions very quickly (less than half an hour). When I looked at them and saw half were hanging off my eyes she said "it's because your eyelashes are twisted". I've never had this issue before when I've gone elsewhere. Fast forward to ONE day later and half of the lashes have fallen out in clumps without my natural lash attached. The glue is super chunky in some areas and the lashes are glued to my eyelid and they hurt! read more

Wouldn't recommend this place for lash extensions. The girl that did my lashes seemed very inexperienced. It was my first time and I could immediately tell what was wrong. They look nice from a distance but close up there was single lashes clumped together. Some lashes were glued onto my eyelid. And lashes started falling off as soon as I got home. And now just one or two, I had a handful of lashes fall off as soon as I got home. The price was $75 and she took 45 minutes. That in itself should've been a red flag on top them also not having any photos of their work up I should've definitely known they wouldn't do a good job. I removed my lashes as best as I could the SAME day I got them done. I went to The Lash Loft in PVD. I rather take an extra 20 minute drive and pay $100 instead of having them done here again. read more

At first I loved how quick the service was and how nice my lashes seemed to look the day of getting them done. I was a first time lash extension customer so I truly didn't realize how cheap and awful they really were. This salon uses plastic like cheap lashes and only take 30 mins max to do a full set and a fill. I realized after that this is way too quick and now understand why my lashes were falling out so quickly and causing me pain etc. my friend works at a salon far from me and explained to me that lash fills etc are never supposed to be painful like I was describing to her, that's when I realized I need to stop going there. I honestly thought that lash fills were just meant to be painful, as every time I went I could feel tugging and plucking of my lashes that was honestly super painful. I would say "ow" and the tech wouldn't respond. I finally got them removed after about 4 fills and the removal was also painful and involved pulling and plucking of my lashes :( She also got the remover in my eyes and it stung really really bad and the tech just asked while laughing "is this your first lash removal?" And kept telling me the remover was getting in my eyes because I was moving too much... I was squirming a little because she was plucking on my lashes and hurting me! It literally felt like someone was ripping my lashes out at every fill appt and then the removal as well. I also now have multiple natural lashes completely missing and they are super short. Attached is a pic of my lashes now WITH mascara on... I used to have long thick natural lashes, now I actually have some completely missing that need to grow back. Mind you again this is only after about 4 fills, having these lashes for about 3 months. I also took VERY good care of them. Cried in them like one time lol, other than that I blow dried them after every shower and combed them out nicely 3x a day. Didn't matter because no matter how well I took care of them, they are just cheap lashes with too much glue and way too fast service. I really wanted to love this place and the fact it was much cheaper than anywhere else, that's why I kept coming back but after 3-4 painful lash fills and then that awful removal, I just feel like I needed to post a review so people understand that this place is cheaper for lash extensions for a reason. I always tipped 20% and was nice to my tech But honestly I don't know why I suffered for so long I just was hopeful that it would be different at the next appointment and really just wanted to have lashes :( I would also like to add that at one of my appointments I needed to bring my baby with me last minute as my sitter canceled on me and I knew if I canceled my appt I would be charged. So I just brought him in his car seat and made sure I fed him beforehand and he slept during the whole 20 mins I was there with zero issues. It was already embarrassing enough for me that I had to bring him and was afraid of being judged but I knew the service would be quick as it always was previously. When I came in, I said "I'm so sorry I had to bring my son with me but my sitter canceled on me" and the owner was upfront when I said this, didn't respond just gave me a dirty look and chuckled a little like one of those laughs that mean she was not happy. When I got there I ask to have the A certain way but Got something that I did not ask for. 48 hours later I Realize that I was having an allergic From that eyelash extensions. I called Lashbar up and asked if they could remove the extensions because I was having a reaction. They told me that they wouldn't going to take me in to go see the doctor. The young woman who had been doing my Lash extensions wasn't very good and I doubt she has much experience. I went to a more experienced lash technician else where and was told that who ever did my lashes didn't seem experienced. I had so much glue on my lashes they were clumped together & hard. Some lashes were even glued to my eyelid. All the glue blocked my ducts on my eyelids leading to an infection called Blepharitis. Also, all the glue was heavy and damaged my natural lashes. I would definitely recommend doing your research and knowing your technician before getting Lash extensions any where. I wouldn't recommend the Lash Bar to anyone. read more

I went to lashbar and got a full set of classic which I expressed to the girl that I wanted it enough that you could tell I had them done. No one could tell and I went back before the 2 week full and there were only like 3 lashes left. They then resides to charge me for a fullset again. so that's 2 full sets in 2 weeks to a total of $225 plus tips. Then 4 days out cause one day was Easter one eye half one eye all lashes came off. I called to speak to the manager and explain my situation. at first was very nice and put me in for a free service to get them fixed. Then called to reschedule cause techs grandmother died which I was fine with. They rescheduled me and then same day as my appointment she called with a different tune and said she wanted to make sure I understood it was a fill I was getting and not a complete set, which I understood but the tech had used the cluster lashes and not the single lashes so when on fell out you have a good size hole in the lash line. I only wanted single lashes and was not told it would be those type of lashes. I have been there many times threw the years and they never once used the cluster lashes on me. I just wanted the one nice set of lashes that they always provided in the past without any issues. So after manger calls day of my appt and says I would be charges a full set if they replaces the cluster but would do the full for free but might have some charge if tech felt it was necessary. I travel 45 mins to them after work thinking I would get the good service I got before a year or so earlier. I decided to cancel cause I just didn't want more cluster lashes. When I call to cancel she said there is a charge of 17.50 to cancel. Are you friggen kidding me!! I was okay when they cancelled my appt. plus it was a free service. NEVER AGAIN! At one time I would of said yes go there I was always happy now no way!! I also was in the beauty business and the treatment I got was wrong! read more

Had a full set done by Deja. She was talking loudly on the phone the entire time and took her no longer than 30 minutes to do my lashes. I have fairly thick lashes and it usually takes around an hour to do them, leading me to believe not all her focus was on her job. Many of the extensions weren't even placed on my lash line, but on my lower lash lid. They poke into my eyelid and it is very irritating and painful. She was also very rough with me. She would have her hands pressing down hard all over my face. She had her palm resting on the eye she had just put lashes on while working on the other and her hand was also squishing one of my nostrils making it hard to breathe especially under my mask. read more

The customer service here is great, but other than that my lash experience was not good. My full set was glued too close to my eyelid, causing a "pinching" sensation and half my lashes fell out within 2 days, some carrying my natural lashes with them in clumps. I had to make an emergency lash removal appointment to relieve the discomfort. I have gotten my lashes done elsewhere and have never had these issues before. read more

The prices are great and I came to the lash bar throughout the summer. I originally got my lashes done when I was away at school so I was in search of a good place to go when I was back home. Although, I started noticing that it would be painful following a fill (it felt like my eyelids were sore), and I noticed that I could see chunks of glue even right after they had been done and my natural lashes were constantly falling out in chunks of glue and extension even right after fill. I never experienced these things at my other lash technicians. I had different girls each time but the last time I went the girl (who seemed very young) didn't ask me if I wanted a natural look, what size I wanted, nothing. And it was done very quickly. I left with what looked like strip lashes (never the look I go for). I ended up going to another technician in the area who informed me that the lashes were put on incorrectly. Too much glue was used to glue multiple lashes on my single natural lashes. The weight was too heavy and this caused them to fall out much easier. She wouldn't even give me a fill unless I waited a couple of weeks because she said they were so damaged. I was upset that my lashes were left in the condition they were and within the past couple of months i have finally started to see my lashes grow back to their healthy state (I don't use extensions anymore). Some of the girls at lash bar were very nice but I don't think there is an emphasis at all on keeping the natural lashes healthy and I can't speak for their lift & tints but I would recommend just spending the extra 15-20$ for a fill somewhere else. read more

Do not come here. If your looking for an actual professional salon, go up the street to Plaza 100. The girls here will 1, consistently cancel just a few hours before your appointment, 2 not properly do the lashes so they fall off before your next appointment and since they don't reschedule you with the same technician, they will up charge you because "they didn't do it". Now I have 1 eye with no lashes and my other eye full. They don't answer there phone or return phone calls. Such a terrible business and I honestly don't know how they are still in business. Word of the wise, 2 mins up the road, plaza 100 $25 for a 2 week fill and they are 200% better. read more

I have had lash extensions for years with a few different technicians. I had a full set applied today by Brianna. She was personable, and efficient. She did a great job and I'm happy with my lashes. She applied them conservatively as I had asked. Her work was great and the experience with the cleanliness of the shop and the receptionist was on point. I went there for an eyelash perm and tinting and I will never go back. The interior is nice enough and it appears clean. My technician came in early to accommodate me which was great. The procedure went without a hitch, I even booked an appointment for a wax. It was when I left that encountered problems. After my appointment I was sitting in my car looking at my lashes. I opened one of my eyes very wide which caused my eyelashes to adhere to the glue still all over my eyelid and was actually pulling my eyelid up away from my eye. I ran back inside and told the receptionist that I needed help. She jumped up and retrieved a tool and began unsticking my lashes. I know the other technicians witnessed this, the whole place is pretty open and I could see them all with their clients. I asked the receptionist what I should do since it seemed that my eyelashes were in danger of being ripped out. She said well we recommend that you use plain soap and water to get the glue off. I told her I was told not to get water on my lashes and she repeated her instructions. How bad is that, that your receptionist is working on a client in the entryway in front of other customers. Blows my mind that this was allowed. Anyway, I went home and used a q tip with some eye makeup remover on it to get some of the glue off. Are you kidding me???? Why was this not done before I left???? Upon further inspection the next day, it was obvious that she did not do a good job. Some of the lashes were kinked and turned sideways. It was really bad. Also, the dye wasn't even done correctly. You could clearly see she did not even reach the ends with the dye on my lower lashes. I never showed for my wax appointment, I felt that they didn't even have the courtesy to remove the glue from my eyes, why should I give the courtesy of a cancellation. For a business that calls itself "the lash bar" and focuses primarily on lashes, I am NOT IMPRESSED!!! I would never come back here and I would certainly never recommend this place to anyone. read more

This is the worst place ever to go for eyelash extensions. I got mine done by Adriana and she was on her phone every other minute texting and got up and walked around to talk to the other workers. All of my eyelashes fell off within 2 days and they refused to give me a refund. $75 is a lot to pay for eyelashes that only last 2 days. And the lashes were not put on correctly, they damaged my natural eyelashes. Very sloppy/lazy work done by this girl. They wouldn't even allow me to talk to the manager, just the receptionist. I've come here twice for eyelash extensions and won't be coming back again. My first visit was okay enough, although the extensions barely lasted a week. The second time I came in, the technician didn't bother to ask what kind of look I was interested in and just immediately started. The next day both of my eyes had swollen shut and when I called to ask if they had any availability for a removal appointment I was told it would be a few days. Instead of waiting I found another salon who was able to squeeze me in that day. The technician at that salon had to call in the help of another technician to aid in removing the extensions and they both agreed that too much glue was used which was making the removal difficult. On top of that the lashes were glued to my actual lash line and not just my lashes (which is a big no no). I was left with chemical burns across my lash line and swollen lids for now over three days because of what I can only assume would be carelessness. I made the assumption that a place dedicated mostly to lash extensions/procedures would've done a better job than this, but I was wrong and had to learn the hard way... read more

I have received many compliments on my lashes and feel wonderful and confident going on my vacation this week. I had my eyelashes done for my first time at Lash Bar a few weeks ago. The woman at the front desk was very slow to greet me and my appointment began approximately 30 minutes late. I scheduled my appointment with Sasha. She spoke very little and didn't take a moment to even ask me the look I wanted or if I had lashes before. The full set took about 1.5 hours, which left me with a 2 hour appointment due to the delay. The cost was great, costing just about $100 after a $25 tip. On my way out, I confirmed my appointment for 10 days later that I had previously scheduled. The receptionist got my name wrong 3 times and continued to tell me that my appointment was on a random day or time, that it was not. The last time, I asked her to just check the time slot/date to confirm my name finally. She did not respond and then finally asked me if I "needed a card or something" rather than simply confirming my appointment. When I returned, Sasha was great about accommodating my request for longer lashes however; the receptionist remained extremely rude and disorganized. She insisted I had been there more than two weeks prior, despite the fact that it has been exactly 10 days prior and I had the appointment in my phone to show her. I got the fill complete 10 days ago and am scheduled to return, but will certainly be canceling my next appointment. My lashes look great for about 5 days and then begin to fall out and tangle (despite brushing them as necessary and wearing no eye makeup). They are also very itchy and I have noticed recently as they begin to fall out, they are taking all of my natural lashes with them. I am due to have them removed in two days and will never have them done by lash bar again. At the present time, I probably have about 25% of my eyelash extensions remaining. It's hard to tell how many natural lashes I have, but I assume it's less than 50% without a doubt. I do want to say, I have heard amazing things about the work of the owner, and have had several friends very pleased with their lashes after she has done them. The only way I can imagine maintaining your lashes here would be with weekly fills and without regard to how your natural lashes are holding up. read more
