I also requested a full refund which they said they would. Hey guys I just want to share my terrible experiences that I have suffered from Merum Face Bar on Watters Creek, Allen. I came in on Friday for a relaxing facial massage which supposed to be gentle - no harsh chemical peel or laser. During the facial, I did notice a burning sensation on my face so I immediately told her and she took the pumpkin enzyme off and it calmed down. It was over an hour facial and they should have noticed my irritation during the process and could have stopped the facial. I also communicated with them clearly about my skin type and the products I have been using. I have combination/oily skin and my skin is not sensitive at all. I never had any allergic reaction to any skin care products I have bought from Sephora/Spa/Clinic etc in my whole life. I also get facial at different spas once in a while but this never happened before. Now they are telling me to seek professional help as there is not much they can do. I am traumatized looking at my face right now. I could not see a dermatologist on the weekend and still do not know if anyone can squeeze me in next week so my anxiety is crazy right now.... Also, They don't even offer me any post facial cream to help with the irritation. No offer to issue a full refund on this traumatized experiences. Just very disappointed on how the manager level handled this.

I've been to a few others before and sometimes I think finding the best fit lash artist is like Cinderella and her glass slipper...you gotta try a few until you find the best fit! Let me tell you exactly how I've come to fall completely in love with her work: 1) Perfectionist! Katie does spend time on her volume sets but that's because she is literally making absolutely perfect fans on every single one of your lashes. How do I know? Because as my lashes grow out and naturally shed, I'll find one on my counter sink in PERFECT fan, not clumped together, not 3-4 lashes with globs on glue at the base. They are perfectly spaced lash fans that create beautiful wispy volume. I would rather lay there for two hours with PERFECTLY fanned out volume lashes than have a rushed one hour session with clumps. 2) Genuine and Real! Katie is honest and isn't trying to just make a fast buck with shoddy work. When I came to see her after not being able to be scheduled with my previous lash girl, she very honestly told me that she needed to remove the previous work and let my lashes grow back a bit. She could've easily just removed my previous set and put a new set on, but after removal, she saw that I had some natural lashes that needed to grow a bit more (apparently they might've been pulled out in a chunk due to glue clumping from my previous artist's work). She wanted what was best for my lashes and not what was best for her pocket! 3) Caring! She cares about the health of your natural lashes and wants you to be able to enjoy lash extensions for a long time. She educates you on your natural lash growth circle and lash care and because she is so meticulous in her careful placement of every full lash fan, my lashes really DO get healthier! 4) Lastly, TALENTED AF! She knows that I have thin but long natural Asian lashes and that a D curl is not going to work with my small Asian double lid. She knew to use a C curl, she knew to use thinner but more lashes versus thicker and less, she knew what length would work with my eye shape! She customizes it to fit your look. I even referred my girl friend to her who is also Asian but has different shaped eyes than me and I could tell she did a slightly different style and it looked amazing on her. Oh wait sorry and one more 5) did I mention her lashes lasted ALL MONTH? I used to get my lashes filled every two WEEKS with all my previous lash artists. I don't know how she does it, but they still looked good a MONTH later when I came back in for a new set. You know what that means? Better for my wallet! Apparently they use their own lash lift kit, and the way they do it is for a really "natural" curl. I was not informed of this before going in, and as I have had lifts done before, I was expecting them to be curled and lifted. They also told me that different places have different ways of doing the lifts, which would've been nice to know as well. I could've curled my eyelashes with a curler and got more of a lift with that. Mine literally look like I've had them for the full two months already, and it's only the second day with them. I feel sorta bad leaving this review as the girls were really nice there, but I am disappointed with the lack of information and results. They offered a discount for lash extensions, but that was kinda pointless as I do not get those done. Then they offered a discount for another lash lift, but that didn't really make sense for me to use it since I was unhappy with the lift I received. They'd use the same kit so nothing would be different expect the price, I'd get the same results. They weren't able to issue a refund as the procedure was already done, which I kind of understand, but it was still pretty irritating. I saw this place had good reviews, but maybe that was for lash extensions only, not quite sure. I will most likely not be returning here. athena was able to fit me in for a day of lash appointment…read more what started as a full mink lash set turned into a full on makeover (in the best way). i had needed to get my microblading and freckles retouched, and while getting my lashes done, she mentioned that she does microblading. since both our schedules accommodated, we got started! athena is incredibly detail oriented and filled in my brows and freckles in exactly the way i wanted. i'm incredibly happy with the results and feel like a true *kween*. i'm looking forward to coming back for my touch up bc athena is personable and has that magic touch.

There were several lashes poking into my eye which created clear discomfort. There were clearly too much glue on the root of the extension, and when I got home there were black lash glue started rubbing off in the corner of my eye. I requested for the classic lash set, right after the application was done. Ends of my left eye, there was a lash extension popped out from the roots, I informed her on it. She took a bit of time to fix it, at the time I'm started to suspect her visions are not very sharp and that she could not see clearly. Tammy did not tell me any lash after care nor did she mention any "refills" needed etc she kept on telling me convincing me how "booked and busy" she is and how talented she is at lashes basically the whole time. I went home with an itch in my eye, I took a picture it was clear she only did one row of my upper lash and some of my own lash were falsely bends inward to be glued on. I have several row of lashes didn't have extensions on and also she didn't stick any lash extensions to the lashes in my outer corner...a lot of them are glued to my eyelid.. When I contact Tammy the NEXT day regarding this she kept on saying it's normal to have lash sticking on the water line or on the lid even when it's clearly poking into my eye. At first Tammy even attempted to blame me saying my lashes are too short and they were too low so that's why she has to apply to my root(what?) . I haven't been doing eyelash extensions for 2+ years, and prior to that none of my eyelash technicians ever said that to me and I know what a classic lash extension should look like and it def shouldn't feel this much discomfort. Tammy refuse to refund me the money, now I have to pay extra to go to another lash tech to remove it and redo it.
