I went in to get my eyebrows waxed since I did not have time to go to the place where I usually get them threaded. This place is beautiful and the staff is very nice and welcoming. I was immediately upsold an eyelash lift, which I did not need but on that day I had the time and that sounded like a nice treat. The entire process was super relaxing and enjoyable. Their reclining beds, soft blankets, and overall setting were a vibe. I loved it. On the other hand, the results were not great. My eyelash tech mush have used a really small rod because my eyelashes are so curly that they are tucked into the hood of my eye. Now it looks like I have very short and very curly eyelashes. Definitely look worse than when I walked in and they are uncomfortable. The sad part is that I have to wait until it resolves on it's own if I don't want to risk damaging them. I feel like with a little more training, this could be a great eyelash spot or even an ASMR spa. read more

Edited: In response to the owners claims: I let the receptionist know both times of my time delay and they chose to take me in, there were no complaints because I was communicating with them. I decided to drive out of my way specifically to work with your small business--don't worry that won't be happening again! Speaking of communication, I was never told not to wear makeup not even in the emails. As I mentioned this was my first time getting lashes so I had no way of knowing. It is your responsibility to ensure all your customers get the same, quality service. Meaning your employees should have mentioned the mascara was going to be an issue and did their best to remove all of it, BOTH times. Instead they took shortcuts, rushed and got chemicals in my eye. You clearly prefer to pocket $150 instead of having happy customers that come back with friends. Not how you run a successful business. ------------ I could not have been more disappointed with their service. One star is too forgiving. I originally wanted to cancel my appt. on Friday bc I had other obligations and the receptionist said I would be charged the full price even if I didn't go. So I went. Big mistake. After an hour and a half, I had my new lashes. They looked great ... for less than 12 hours. I went to bed and woke up with one eyelid missing half the lashes and my eye being visibly irritated, sore, and red. This was my first time getting lashes so I was pretty over it at this point. I called wanting them to take them off and give me my money back. The receptionist insisted they could fix it. She blamed it on the low humidity not allowing the glue to stick properly. IF humidity was going to be such a problem (which it's not here in the Bay) why did you book an appt?? So there I went again, Saturday morning, to have them refill the patches. Next morning, the other eye's lashes are falling off! All I want is a refund for this terrible service. These lashes are not what they promised. I cannot be going every day to get them refilled but they're falling off every day! And I know 2-3 lashes falling off a day may be normal but This clearly is not normal. The technicians clearly need more training because how can I be having the same experience after two different technicians?! Now I'm forced to walk around with terrible, uneven lashes that will probably only last a week--if that! And on top of everything, I have to go get my eye checked out because the first technician got glue or something inside my eye. read more

Typically I support small businesses but when you disrespect customers, try to steal from them and have a foul attitude. I make sure my friends and family do not support such abusive people. I made an appointment for one day, and last minute they changed it for the following day. Since they changed it on me, I had to move my schedule around. I was running behind and let them know, she immediately cancelled my appointment and said I will be charged a full $350.00 (full service). So I have to be accommodating to their schedule but they can't wait a couple minutes for me? She said "too bad we have your card and will be charged". My bank is helping me deny any transactions & if they would like to try to charge me. We can go to court for being so money hungry. Only open on Friday & Saturday. I can't say enough good things about The Lash Lounge. The staff is so nice and welcoming and the salon is beautiful. When I first started going I got the eyelash extensions, which I loved and were great! The only reason I stopped getting the extensions is because I constantly rub my eyes so they were falling out but that was more my fault than it had to do with the actual lashes. Since I don't do the lash extensions one of the stylists suggested getting a lash lift which is amazing! It last 6-8 weeks and it just makes your eyes look more open. Very expensive and it just looks like I have regular lashes, with more lashes on one eye than the other, so I look lopsided also. Did not get what I was expecting at all. They did not show me any photos. They have a very confusing pricing structure with multiple levels of technicians- I paid extra to get a "senior" person. If go, ask tons of questions, ask for photos and remember that a "senior" person does not mean a superior result. I called back to complain to to the manager and she offered no restitution. I would not recommend getting your lashes there even if it's FREE...it hasn't been even a week and half if not all or most of my lashes have fallen off. It seems as if the girl(s) there are either new/learning/inexperienced. Yess that's how bad it is. Adventures in lash extensions! After paying for lashes a few times at different locations I got an email from a studio I'd never been to before saying they needed lash models to practice on. A new lash artist would gain experience and I'd get free extensions! With the wide variety of experiences and outcomes I'd had when paying - none of which turned out badly but all of which could have been better in one way or another, I thought why not? I was greeted with a flute of champagne into the clean pleasant studio and lay down on a comfortable pallet with a pillow for both head and knees. Maya was so gentle I fell asleep. This has never happened to me before. As I opened my eyes, I couldn't feel any pokey ones, the corners were fine. In fact for the first time, I couldn't feel my lashes at all. We're they still there? I originally came in to The Lash Lounge as a model for students in training. I came from Pleasanton, figured it was free and I always wanted to have eye lash extensions. My girls name was Lauren, she was very kind and nervous but kept me informed of what she was doing the whole time. It took several hours and finished with a few lashes on each side, we laughed about the few lashes, but new practice makes perfect. Lauren asked if I wanted to come back and without hesitation I said yes, still as a model to practice on. I have thoroughly enjoyed my lash journey with Lauren and after returning as a model 4 times, I am now her client. Needless to say Lauren has accomplished the perfection of lashes. I was completely wrong because the next day all the individual lashes fell OFF! It took half an hour for the whole appointment and they didn't even last the day SMFH. I went here last night to get my lashes done and I asked for natural because i have never had lash extensions before. I was there for 4 hours with the lady doing my lashes and I was disappointed when I finally opened my eyes to see they weren't how I wanted them.
