I was preparing to tell her how I wanted to change the trial makeup to something more pink, but that morning, Jessie brought up the idea of changes to me first! She suggested a pink look would look better and I was impressed because I felt the same way. I appreciated that Jessie spoke out about what she thought would look better on me; I felt like she had my back! In total, we had 11 people who needed both hair and makeup. I was worried that it would take a very long time, but Jessie and her two assistants run like a well-oiled machine! Started at 8am, done by 1230pm! All my girls looked beautiful!! Not only did it hurt like a mofo cuz she cut me too deep even though I was bleeding profusely but the results were below expectations considering her highly rated reviews. I was left w/ uneven areas and patchy areas. Melody was meticulous in both her prep and after care instructions that made me feel good about going into our session. She assured me that my prior experience was out of the norm and worked to make corrections to even out my brows. I also didn't feel the traumatic slicing pain like I did w/ the other artist nor was I excessively bleeding everywhere. She's also easy to chat w/ which made me feel at ease. Despite this, he disregarded my concern and only blow dried my hair. On top of that, he left midway through the appointment to get something to eat, which was very unprofessional. Thankfully, Sam stepped in to help. She straightened my roots and curled my hair, and she did a great job fixing what she could. However, since the rest of my hair was never properly flat ironed, it became curly and frizzy again shortly after I arrived at my event. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience.
