I feel very sad to have to write this review. I noticed this place has overall good reviews on here however recently there are several one star reviews and now I know why. I am very disappointed in the customer service I received from Jennifer. I came for a full set of lashes on Friday. I informed the technician that I had sensitive skin and she used a glue for sensitive skin. Within hours I had a horrible reaction. I had to take them off immediately and ended up in urgent care. I now have a large medical bill due to this visit, the cost of my oral steroids that I'm now on and the cost of the eye drops. Not to mention the pain and suffering- this is awful! When I called to explain what happened Jennifer didn't want to give me a refund and offered another Serivce for free. I'm sorry but I don't want another service because I'm allergic to your products! With a lot of resentment she finally gave me 50 % back! 50 % and kept saying it's not their fault I am allergic. I understand it is not their fault- I'm in the medical profession! But I spoke with several other lash studios since then and they all said they absolutely would give a client a full refund if they had a terrible reaction within hours. They also said they would test the glue on my hand first before putting it on my eyes. So if you have sensitive skin I highly discourage you from coming here, I don't want you to suffer how I did and end up with a medical bill and not even get a full refund to help you pay for it so disappointing read more

I received a "microblading/microshading" service from this location. The "artist" who did my brows was a lady named Lauren. She is bragged about on their Instagram page as a "celebrity microblading artist" and that she has 25+ years experience in aesthetics and microblading. There wasn't a lot of before and after photos posted to the companies page so I asked for the artist Instagram page to see her work. I was given fab_by_lauren. I looked into her photos and saw a very common trend in her work. I went ahead and scheduled a consultation, as I wanted to ask her in person for any credible work or maybe even celebrity brows she has done. She replied that she doesn't have many "finished" healed brow photos, but that she just hired someone to handle her social media to her before and after photos. Well she never showed me anything. At this point I'm still trusting her Instagram photos are old work and if she is a celebrity artist she must be really good. I scheduled my appointment. I noticed she doesn't map brows, but rather traces around your natural brow. So if your brows are far apart from over plucking.. they will be tattooed far apart as well. With that, I asked if I could map my own as I have experience in mapping. She looked relieved and said she was glad I knew exactly what I wanted. I came in for my appointment and was told the process would hurt "a little" but that they numb you during so it's not bad. I laid back on the table to start and she breaks the news to me that she has to do the brows and then numb, explaining the numbing won't go into the skin if it's not open. I went through the entire procedure with no numbing. Until she was practically finished. I asked for microblading in the front for a natural look and shading at the tails since they were sparse. She did two minuscule strokes in the front and left my left brow very far in compared to the right. I was not happy before I left but knew there was a touch up appointment included. I reached out to her as soon as I came home and told her what I wasn't happy with. She said we could fix it next appointment. My brows scabbed SO bad. I followed the instructions to a T. Who wouldn't when you spend that much money on your face. Well 6 weeks passed and I was left with brows that looked like nothing was done. I will be sharing before and after photos on other platforms ie: Yelp. I reached out and explained my sadness to the company who said the manager would get back in touch with me. I was given the run around for over a week before I was told they would not refund, but that I needed to come back in for an appointment. I will attach those screenshots as well. It's way to much to relay in this review. I met with a very well known artist at Ivey Artistry in absolute disbelief and asked if she would be willing to fix this awful mistake. She went above and beyond. The experience was SO different from start to finish. I will also add before and after of this procedure. The entire experience was phenomenal and I criedwith relief. I was mapped out. I was numbed the ENTIRE time and NEVER felt pain. I had hardly any scabbing and was complaining healed in 5 days. Nothing has faded at all. I explained this to The lash Lounge and was told they are sure my experience was the same at both places and that I was told I would lose a "significant" amount of pigment with the first appointment. Which isn't true. I was told it gets 30% lighter. My first experience with TLL left me with 100% pigment loss. I asked for a 50% refund and that Lauren could keep the tip, but to please just make this right. I was told " no.. we wish you the best". I debated writing this review, as I'm not that person, but if I save one person from making this mistake, wasting $600, going through such painful torture, left with awful brows/nothing to show for, its worth it. Please do your research before using this company for any permanent make up. Pay attention to their before and after photos and go through all of fab by Lauren's before and after photos on Instagram before making your decision. read more

This was my first experience with lash extensions. The tech was nice but, the customer service was lacking. I had to ask twice how to care for them. i was handed a bag and a card at checkout, the recep almost forgot.. I asked before leaving. No mention of cleaning that is described in the handout card. read more

I showed up at 5:48 for a 5:45 brow tint appointment and they cancelled me on the spot bc they said the next appt begins in 4 minutes, which makes zero sense to me bc normally I would have still been waiting at that time or just walking back with my person, so sounds like their own scheduling issues to me. Then continued to charge my cc later that evening. This was after I was originally scheduled for the day before, but they needed to move me to the next day which I was perfectly kind and gracious about bc that's how I operate and every time I go there, I always end up waiting 10 to 15 minutes if not longer bc they're running behind or sometimes even bump me to another person, but I show up three minutes late and they cancel. Not the customer service I'm looking for, especially after I'm always kind and flexible, no questions asked, but you can't give that back in return to your customers. Don't ever run my card when I haven't given you permission to do so or never signed off on you doing so, that is fraud. I will not be back and plan to spread the word. Makes me sad bc I have enjoyed the two ladies I've seen for brow tints in the past and loved going there, but this just really rubbed me the wrong way. Love the Lash Lounge Raleigh! I've tried several services including brow shaping, tinting, natural and volume lash sets. I have very straight lashes so the volume lashes looked the best for me. The staff is very knowledgeable and an all around pleasure. Clean, friendly environment. read more
