Lash Co has brought me great experiences, making my lashing process so enjoyable! The products are such good quality, I don't have to worry about anything not working properly. The lash trays are consistent with their curls, and their isolation tweezers are bomb af !!! Courses: I took 2 lash courses ( Mega Volume & Keratin Lash Lift class) with Cathy and they were both so thorough & easy to understand!! I definitely recommend anyone considering taking any of her classes, to do it!! You won't regret it!

USE CODE: "lashedbyk" (online or in-person) for $$ off your order! The Lash Co is my go to place for lash supplies, ALWAYS. I've been lashing for 3+ years and have tried a range of products within the market. When I purchase from The Lash Co I know I will be recovering high quality products and excellent customer service if needed. Some of my favorite products are listed below: * Tweezers: Roczen & Millie 90 degree (Precision tips for accurate isolation/placement, sharp and strong grip for easy handling) * Lash trays: Cloud Series (so easy to pull off the strip and extremely light weight) * Light: LED Luna Light (Temperature adjusting is a game changer for high photo taking) * Bonder: 007 Super Bonder (bonds glue within minutes so clients may wash their lashes before the 24hr mark) I have also attached photos as reference. Feel free to dm me @lashedbykayli for product recommendations & tag me in your purchases, happy lashing!

Experience was 10/10, I loved everything about my training with Cathy! She was so good at explaining everything about lashing and answering all my questions i had . She taught me so much about different techniques on pinching and wrapping. Would definitely take her course all over again if I could. Left leaving the class feeling more confident and happy with my experience overall.

I took this class and it was taught by the owner of ShoplashCo herself! Cathy was so sweet and informative, I really felt I left with solid knowledge on how to administer, and care for, and even answer questions regarding lash lifts. I took a group class and found it was very fun and helpful to see other students taking the class bring models and learn from each others mistakes and accomplishments during the class. I 100% recommend adding lash lifts as a service and using ShopLashco as a reliable source to learn from!

FUTURE STUDENTS! - Upland- MANICURING Program: Hi! I am a…read morerecent July'26 graduate of the manicuring program at the Upland SSA location. If you are looking into this program and this school specifically, I will be giving honest feedback about the program, the staff, and the way the school is ran. Payment: The said total cost for the manicuring program (400 hours- Full Time: 9a-5p Tuesday through Saturday | Part Time: 5p-9p Monday through Friday) is $5500 - FAFSA not available, must pay out of pocket or monthly. Not included in this total is your $100 enrollment fee along with the $1-$2k you will be spending out of pocket for nail supplies, school supplies and a rolling nail case. They will provide a manicuring kit - included in your tuition total - but they do not help you restock in supplies and they may not provide everything at once as they usually have nail drills and UV/led lamps on back order. (I did not get my UV light until 2.5 months into my program- but the school does have 4 that manicuring students are able to share amongst one another). If you are looking to buy a rolling case- RECOMMENDED- use Facebook Market place as your first option if not the lowest you will find one is $100! They will tell you that you get a locker- you do not. That is only for the cosmos, barbers and esthis- they focus their time and energy more on these programs whereas manicurists are ghost like. Manicuring students will be taking their supplies home with them each night. Program: Unfortunately, my class and I had an instructor whose first day was the same as ours. (She transferred from West Covina SSA- and was unsure of where everything was as well as how upland campus ran their program). This being said, we struggled a lot the first 4 weeks; when we would ask her about something she was always unsure and had no solution. During our tour of the school it was said that we would be practicing in the workbook, hands on, and we would have slideshows as well as samples of everything being taught. This was not true, though the instructor was new to the campus she had been teaching the manicuring program years prior but unfortunately, was never given proper training by Upland campus- I do not blame for this, but the school needs to be more responsible in that aspect . Everything that was promised was more of a showcase to bring in students. You spend 5 weeks in the classroom focusing on workbooks, 5 weeks in capstone(self study) while also taking clients and the last few weeks of your program you are on the floor the entire day. This being said, once you are in capstone you MUST be doing your workbooks at home whenever you are able because the staff will book you back to back with no worry about you as a student, and sit there while you miss all of your breaks, as well as missing capstone and stressing out. Staff: The staff at first is intimidating and definitely has their favorites. By favorites I mean, if you are one of them they allow you to get away with passing off your clients to other students just because you don't feel like taking that client or they let you show up to school late with no consequences and much more. But, if you are on their good side then no need to worry! Unfortunately though, that's not the case for most. But do get to know them, outside of being instructors they are friendly. General: In general, this school is not ran like a school but ran like a salon. If you've done nails for a while and are fast/ good at what you do, you'll do just fine but if you are someone who has no experience and is just starting off; you are going to struggle and probably fall out of love with doing nails. If you're quick with nails, don't be when you're here because they abuse it. I was quick and they would throw clients that weren't mine at me, or they would purposely have me miss breaks just so I could take a client and they would make money. They work students until they can't anymore. They also use threatening language at times to scare students into "behaving" or following their rules. There are so many behind the scenes scenarios that go on that aren't resolved or spoken about. All in all, before committing to this location/ school, do your research make sure it truly checks all of your boxes.

I was more than prepared, and with my license I hit the floor running. Like Lovella (who also made a review) I too, and several other former students, have gone on to open our own beauty salons & hire employees to continue our expansion. Our businesses are thriving, you can do the research. All of us that have gone on to be successful have nothing but extraordinary things to say about Miss Ruby bc she was the one who pushed & helped us to be as great as we can be. I personally have seen many students come & go while I was a student, whether bc they were graduating or bc they were dropping. Miss Ruby is very passionate about teaching skin care. This is her life and for students to come in & not take the course seriously is insulting & a waste of her time and other students time. There are many young immature girls that enroll & these are the ones who complain and create drama and bad reviews. She does not care about the money and honestly she doesn't care for peoples opinions who do not take this course seriously. UNDERSTAND, YOU ARE WORKING ON PEOPLES FACES!! The tiniest mistake, and you can burn people, scar people, seriously injure, or even kill someone bc you are not paying attention to things they are allergic to or the fact they have a heart condition. If you are not ready to take this class & career seriously, Please, look elsewhere. So please take this into consideration upon doing your research for schools & reading reviews. If you ARE ready to make your Esthetics dream a reality, then this is the perfect place for you! You will see how amazing you can be when you're pushed to your fullest potential! Highly recommended!!
