It was "ok" there was one woman working, had a mask on, still required customers to wear a mask. It is a small space. One small scoop of chocolate ice cream was a little pricey at $4.49 unless I'm out of touch. The server was friendly and I just wish they had more old a selection of things to choose from. My boyfriend and I both got waffle cones and the first thing I noticed is that they had been sitting out exposed to the air while the store door was open. Unsurprisingly, they were stale. While they were getting our ice cream, they used their bare hands. The young boy that served me took off the napkin he used to hold onto my cone before giving it to me and it got stuck onto the cone. He was trying to get it off and touched the entire cone with his hands. The ice cream itself wasn't really good either. Since they closed down my favorite ice cream place in NH (place near the bridge which is now a chain of something) it's been a challenge finding a good place to have a tasty treat in NH. So we stumbled upon this place after stopping in several shops and I was on the look out for ice cream. So you get a little exercise and reward yourself. Plus you have to walk up a flight of stairs to go inside. Once you walk in it's like a teen hangout. A few tables, coffee machines and ice cream. Let me rewind a second and say my old place had Graham Slam Ice Cream. If you never had it, get it. It's hard to come by in North Jersey so I go to town when I see it. And needless to say that's what I was looking forward to before finding out my old place was closed. So getting back to the present. I looked over each ice cream bin and wouldn't you guess it no graham slam...until I saw this little sign that was pointed out by my date...like a beam of light from heaven...and angels singing in the background...there it was...graham slam...ahhhhh... It was perfect. So about the place. It's no frills. It's ice cream. It's kind of pricey. The service is average. I didn't try the coffee. 5 stars for having graham slam but 3 overall as their selection otherwise isn't all that. ENJOY! read more

I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews about this place, so I'm throwing 4 stars into the mix. There are a lot of ice cream & coffee spots to choose from in New Hope so I can't promise you that this is the best option, but I can say that the service here was friendly and our frappes were refreshing. My husband and I stopped in here on a very hot day so it's possible that anything cold would have tasted amazing to us, but I think we would have been happy with our choice either way. The women who made our drinks (possibly the owner?) gave us a bonus serving since it was so hot out. Some of the decor inside is cute, but it could use some freshening up. read more

The iced coffee is amazing! There were sooo many coffee and/or desert places on this little street that I didn't even want to bother looking at reviews to choose one. I randomly walked into this place and I'm glad I did. A bit on the pricey side, but I can understand the need with so many mom and pop competitors in addition to both Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts right down the street. I can't speak to any of their other drinks and treats (although they looked tasty), but I would come back just for the delicious iced coffee. read more

My family has been here a few times over the years and the ice cream is always great. However, this last visit Melissa really shined and saved the day. There was this hoax played that shut down the city streets and we couldn't make it back to our car which left my us stranded - not only did Mellissa welcome us to relax in the store but when we left she offered to assist me in getting to my car safely without walking miles in the dark and cold so my family can leave town (it's a bit difficult to explain). Can't review the ice ream, we never got to taste any. The customer service was horrible! We walked in at 9:20pm on a Friday night and the staff told us we can't get any. I looked for a sign to find out the shops hours, there was not one. So we walked out, and sat on the benches to talk and decide what we wanted to do next. There were many patrons sitting outside, one woman needed napkins, the staff handed her 2 paper towels for 7 people. The lights were shut off while we were talking, leaving all of us in the dark to walk down a steep set of stairs to return to the sidewalk. Lesson learned for me, I will not be going back. I've always been fond of Thomas Sweets in New Brunswick so when I saw they served TS here, I made sure we stopped. It's a nice, clean shop with plenty of seating and yet the whole experience was rather disappointing - they were out of vanilla frozen yogurt (by Saturday afternoon, no less) so I could not get the frozen chai that I originally wanted & instead opted for a small cup of the salted caramel ice cream which turned out to be blah, my husband's vanilla malt was mostly vanilla shake and very little malt and I never received the e-mail receipt I was supposed to get because I paid by credit card. I will say the shop was staffed by two nice students who did try but I am just not sure they were getting the support they needed to keep a busy shop running efficiently on a holiday weekend. I am willing to pay for quality but this just wasn't up to par for the price. read more
