We stumbled Owowcow after having breakfast across the street. It's well off the beaten path for Lambertville, but it's well worth the detour. They have a good selection of flavors all of which hit just right amount of creamy and sweet. I had a chocolate chip mint, that perfectly satisfied after a meal. The staff were kind, helpful, and patient while we made our selection. The ice cream is made from all local and organic ingredients and it really shows in their end product. My siblings and I stopped in after exploring Lambertville as part of our trip to New Hope. I had a medium waffle cone with a scoop of Maine Berry Crunch and a scoop of Sweet Honey Cream. One thing that initially caught my eye here was the pistachio cream topping. Luckily my sister ordered that as one of her toppings, so I was able to sample it. Everything was seriously way too good. We ended up driving the wrong way due to my dyslexia and mixing up the numbers in the address and searched on google for another location and found this one was the closest to where we ended up. The space is open and clean, with a few indoor seats (obviously not during the pandemic though) and a bench outside. They have creative flavors including seasonal ones like blueberry lemon and sweet butter corn (the two that I got). While I appreciate their selection of creative flavors and even vegan options, I was disappointed by the lackluster flavor and texture. High quality ice cream should have a rich creaminess but this ice cream was not smooth, but rather, it was kind of grainy/crystallized. In addition, the flavors were severely muted.
