This ice cream shop is always popping when I am going down 202. Seriously there is always a line. So today, I decided to check out if it was good or just hype. Not only do they offer hard ice cream flavors (a pretty big selection) but they offer soft serve. This place also has frozen yogurt that they can make from their multiple soft serve flavors. I really like how they accept Venmo as well. I also like how they had a bench you could sit at. Not sure how many people actually sit outside this place to eat ice cream but the gesture felt welcoming. I ended up getting the birthday cake and the chocolate hazelnut in a cup. They gave a pretty big quantity which I was very happy about. However, I did feel like the flavors were basic. I didn't feel like it came straight from the farm or whatever. I was definitely slightly disappointed. Maybe I'll give their frozen yogurt a try next time and it won't disappoint. read more

We had our dinner at one of the outside picnic tables, and then came back to the window for ice cream! They have soft serve, regular ice cream, plus non-dairy options as well. Very vanilla &, for lack of a better word, boring. It wasn't watery nor was it creamy. It wasn't gross either. It was just there. They have lots of other options if soft serve isn't your thing. It was a nice day out so I sat on one of their many benches instead of my car. They even have picnic tables in case you need to put a banana split down. Gotta love a walk up window ice cream spot. They are fairly new to Flemington (like a few years old) but I love seeing the crowd on hot summer nights. Their ice cream is pretty wonderful and I am still searching for a flavor I don't love. The last trip included a scoop of tiramisu in a sugar cone and oh man, just so good. My mom and I decided to stop by Thee Ice Cream Parlor to try some homemade ice cream on our way back from shopping. We both got small sugar cones! I got the Vanilla Peanut butter which was good but nothing crazy. Then my mom got the Cappuccino Blast which was definitely more unique and very delicious. Every time I pass it there is always a line! So be prepared to wait in line, we waited almost 10 minutes. Stumbled upon this place while driving to Old Hope, PA. The entire parlor looked inviting and gave a vintage vibe. Little did I know that I would discover a new favorite flavor for my sweet tooth midnight cravings. They didn't not have dine-in and it was only served through the windows. It was all home-made ice-creams. I saw another customer going through the menu and he said he is a frequent and his wife loved the "Black Raspberry Chunks" and I ended up tasting and it was a love-at-first-taste. Still I ended up getting a small sized Black Raspberry. The first spoon made me decide I would end up buying a pint for my home. The ice-cream was rich and still affordable at 3.75$ for a small. Old school ice cream parlor. Walk up window for ordering. There was a good amount of parking by the shop and at the adjacent fudge shop. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and it was very busy. We were glad to see that people were being good about social distancing and wearing masks at the counter. They have lots of ice cream options to choose from, and we went with vanilla soft serve, dipped in cherry magic shell, on sugar cones. Really nice quality. Delicious. Everyone enjoyed it. Really really great ice cream, good vibes and atmosphere and loved the outdoor seating. Just a couple things they can work on: 1) could definitely use more flavor options. The ones they have are really good but there should be more of a variety. 2) a small pet peeve, but ice cream parlors shouldn't just put a scoop on top of a cone, they should fill the actual cone a bit as well. Greatest sundaes and soft serve in the area! TICP has a really good selection of flavors, and a cute '50's vibe. Veronica and the rest of the staff are always smiling and it's amazing how they seem to remember what your favorite flavor is. Right now Peach is the way to go, but I think that's not going to be around much longer as a seasonal flavor. The owner Rachel works her tail off the keep the place spotless and running smoothly, and even somehow manages to stay pleasant in the face of skyrocketing supply costs, surly delivery drivers, and Complaining Karen's. Not even one star worthy. The owner is incredibly rude and disrespectful. They surcharge 3.5% to buy their product too. That doesn't make clear business sense considering the average dollar spent using a Card vs cash is 3x higher. Why would anyone think turning away a customer who wants to buy product is the right decision regardless of the payment method. ? TICP isn't operating like they know how to run a business. If you want customers bake into your operating model. Bad business decisions and awful product. Do not give them a penny of your money. One girl was talking to her boyfriend sitting at the counter, rather than helping customers. That left, one person helping customers are the window outside, and one girl helping customers inside. The girl who took my order ate gummy bears with her bare hands while making my Sunday. Also, some whipped cream fell off of my sunday onto the counter, and the same girl proceeded to use the spoon for my sunday to scoop it off of the counter, AND PUT IT BACK ON MY SUNDAY! This place makes me laugh every time I drive by if. I recall my last visit where the teenage girl lost control of her he chocolate shake she was trying to mix under the mixing machine, and needless to say there was ice cream splatter on the wall, her hair and even a little on the ceiling. What an adorable ice cream joint that commits to a fun 1950s theme and also serves delectable treats! They offer a wide variety of hard & soft serve ice cream, any topping you could ask for (they even have wet walnuts - an old school topping your parents might murder for) and the staff is happy to provide you with a sample of their unique flavors. Their salted caramel screamed fall -- throw in a drizzle of legit old school hot fudge sauce, and I was in flavor country. I banned this place after bringing my son and his friends for ice cream after a birthday party. After spending a significant amount of money on several ice creams, the kids were laughing and having fun (as kids should do). There were NO other customers in there at the time and the owner came out and meanly told the kids to keep it down. I did not appreciate her tone and was clear with her I didn't. She rudely told me to have them keep it down where I turned and said we would leave and never be back. Which I haven't. The kids were speaking in a normal voice and not running around or being disrespectful. She was clearly having a bad day and NO way to run a business or speak to a customer.
