Perhaps, they Animal House-Pet Spa needs to re-think their good business model or hire some help! They advertise such an intriguing invite ad to make an appointment for your sweet furry child, then after calling, I was immediately shut down- not taking any "new clients" too busy, not enough groomers to help her. Well, can you hire some help? I mean I could have waited a month maybe. But, I am not going to be put on a waiting list. It's Feb. I thought I was getting a head start for my dog's annual spring trim. I could have waited a month or so...But, No- "no more new clients" just did not feel so good to hear. Sounded kinda-snobby. Not even an ounce of hope of being able to use this service. Like- maybe a month or so out...? Just left me sad. I have honestly, never heard any groomer say that- just such a turn off- so disappointing after you get really excited about a new place to take your dog. Said they wouldn't groom him again. "Unfortunately, this is the last time," she said. He'd wet himself repeatedly, and his legs were too weak, she said. I wept all the way home. And then when I looked at him closely I found two places that looked like he had been cut and had bled when I specifically had it put on his record that he was not to be shaved. Pekingese are only supposed to be scissor-cut. Then I got angry because I realized he'd been hurt and was scared, and that was the reason for the excessive urination and shaking. I blame myself for not reminding them, but it doesn't matter now. I know that no one has staff anymore, but this was handled so very poorly.

"It comes with it so you didn't need to tell me that," she said, as she took my dog in the back in a huff. Excuse me, ma'am. Sorry to put you out! They need to fix the place up or at least clean it.
