After…read moregoing to this place for years to have clothes dry cleaned, I took my daughter's new, never been washed faux fur comforter to them to be cleaned, and they ruined it. Whatever chemical they used on the fabric negatively reacted with it and destroyed the fibers beyond repair. She told me they never put comforters in the dryer, but the fibers look burned in some areas, so I can only assume it was a chemical reaction to the cleaner. It looked matted, was losing its fluff, and was no longer soft at all. You can see in the photos. When I brought the issue to their attention, the woman told me it was my fault for buying a brand she didn't deem was high quality (it was a Threshold comforter). I told her if they only clean specific brands, she should tell customers that at drop-off, so they can find another cleaner. I requested a refund, and she told me she would talk to her "spot man" and for me to come back. I went back a day later, and the "spot man" was immediately defensive about his poor quality of work and blamed the issue on the low quality of the comforter. He told me they did put it in the dryer, which is okay per the was instructions on the tag. When I told him the woman said they never put comforters in the dryer, he said, "she doesn't know." So, I know they were just lying to cover themselves. Now, I know Threshold isn't a fancy brand, but it's not poor quality. I washed the pillow shams that are part of the comforter set at home, and they came out just fine. No change in the quality whatsoever. The only reason I didn't home was the comforter is because my washing machine is not large enough. I don't know what they did to the comforter, but they ruined it. And they refused to refund me. I will never go to this place again, and I highly recommend you do not trust them with your items. Terrible customer service and poor quality workmanship.

It's located in a shopping strip behind the Waffle House and the ever popular El Don Mexican restaurant is a couple of doors down from the place. There are ample of parking and even though there are no parking spots directly in front of the store; still it's not a far walk...I say about 3-4 yards at the most. (This is important if you have lots of stuff to wash and have to haul your stuff back and forth.) You can however park right in front of the store-unload your stuff on the side walk and then go and park. This is what a lot of people do here. The store is unattended and open 24 hours with surveillance cameras all around the store. The store is cash only. They have a couple of quarter machines at the front. I was there about 11 AM and there shopping center was pretty busy. Lots of people around and no bums hanging out begging for change or smoking cigarettes.The area is pretty safe during the day time. But still I would definitely exercise common sense.... (There is a Food Depot Grocery store across the street and the store manager says people come in all the time asking for quarters and getting change to do laundry. I was able to buy detergent there and got cash back with my debt card with no problem.) When I was there the lovely owner Derrick was there sprucing the place up and doing some minor repair work. The place was very clean with no visible trash on the floor and the top of the machine where people pour their soap was clean too. I used 2 of their four loaders and 2 double loaders for this trip. The vending prices are of the following: $2.50 for double loaders. $.50 extra for the super wash $4.50 for 4 loaders. $4.75 for super wash. 7min. per quarter for dry. I was able to wash all the bedding, blankets and a two weeks worth of dark clothes in under 2 hours. The dryers were nice and hot. My stuff got dry in no time. Best part...I still had about $11 left out of $25.00 so off to the taco truck I go....reward time! Be back in a week or so to wash more bedding! Thanks Derrick and team! Unfortunately, my experience with customer service was disappointing, and it ultimately impacted my decision not to return. When I asked the woman at the front desk about the cost of dry cleaning, her response came across as dismissive and carried an unnecessary tone. When I politely asked if there was an issue, she stated that she was focused on her work, which I found confusing given that I was simply asking a question as a customer. Throughout my visit, her behavior felt uncomfortable. She remained close by the entire time in a way that felt unnecessary, and at one point, she brought over a sign reminding customers to remove items from their pockets. While I understand the importance of that policy, the way it was handled felt excessive and unwelcoming. Additionally, pricing information is not clearly displayed, which made it difficult to understand service costs without having to ask. Overall, while the facility itself is excellent, the unfriendly and somewhat hostile customer service experience was enough to discourage me from returning.
