I cannot recommend this business due to a combination of high prices and incredibly unprofessional behavior. I brought in a sentimental pair of my father-in-law's wedding trousers to have the waist adjusted. Upon seeing them, the staff member's first response was to mock my weight. I tried to ignore the initial comment to get the job done, but when I returned to pick them up, she told me to "buy pants that fit next time" as I was leaving. I've been bringing clothes here for alterations for a few years and used to be really satisfied, but the young woman who now seems to be doing the work for the past year or so is not great at tailoring...at least not for men's clothes. I love them. I've been coming here for years on and off. I was never much of a dry cleaning or alterations girl bc I just never felt like I needed to do all that but after taking a few items in for both, it's the only place I'll go to and I find myself looking for things she can alter. When I walked in she was super welcoming and friendly. She was very encouraging and honest after I told her what I needed done and by when I needed it. Torah completed the alteration in less than 24-hours. The price was fair considering it was a rush job on a Saturday. The dress came out perfectly and exactly how I wanted it. The owners were super nice! Yes, they speak English well if you're wondering. But, they also speak Vietnamese too. :) This place is both an alteration and dry cleaning place. I only have experience with the alteration services. I took my wedding gown in to have it hemmed. Easy and simple. The fiance meanwhile had his suit altered just slightly for a more well-fitted look. For him, it was shortening of the suit jacket and pants (with a slight adjustment to the look of the pants as it lands on the shoe) and readjustment of the arms diameter. She forgot to charge for intake of the suit sleeves but said it was on the house since we were Asian. Yeah! Saved us $20! Lol. She's such a jokester. The total charge for both the hemming and his various alterations was $125 for credit, but she said it was $115 for cash. The shop isn't opened on Sundays btw. Le's Alterations is rather difficult to see from the main road of N. Decatur. It's sort of tucked away at the corner on the other side of the strip with Melton's and Pet Supermarket. So friendly! So accommodating! Perfect alterations of my two blouses! At first I went to another local alterations shop down the street from Le's and was astonished at the price they wanted for one blouse to be taken up in the shoulders, waist, and hemline. Then on a google search, I found Le's had great reviews; I went there immediately. Besides their price being more reasonable, they were willing to get them ready for me to pick up earlier than is their usual turn-around time. I was one week away from my son's wedding and desperated needed my mother-of-the-groom dress altered! I wistfully entered Le's Alteration, fingers crossed, that I would find help. The young woman who greeted me was warm, personable, extremely empathic and assurred me that she could help. I am mobility challenged but she was able to get me into her fitting room and within minutes understood my dilemma, quickly pinned my dress and assurred me it would be ready in time...and it was! It was perfect! I did not even try it on until 24 hours later when I was dressing for the wedding. It looked and fitted like it was custom made for me! The cost of the expedited service was so unexpectedly reasonable that I was shocked. Though I do not recommend waiting until the last minute to have an alteration for such an important event, I do highly recommend have Le's Alteration take care of you! read more

However, I had decided on checking out my option that was closer to home than work. Coincidentally, my planning sucks, and I chose a day when I was needed at work for a late meeting. The other location just wasn't open long enough for me to catch it after the meeting, so I decided to check out Le's. When I walked in, I was greeted kindly and told them what I needed to get done. She quickly got my pants pinned, in time for me to battle the rush hour traffic and get back to work in time for my meeting. Picked up my pants on time as promised. She remembered who I was. The owner, Mrs. Le (pronounced Lay) is extremely sweet and accommodating. While it was easier to communicate in Vietnamese with her, her english is fine, so communication was no issue. I had two suit jackets that I asked her to alter: shortening the sleeves and taking in the waist and torso, and she completed both within a week! This place is great! The store is run by two sisters, both of whom are super nice and friendly. I first went here to have my bridesmaid dress hemmed because it was too long. She had me try on the dress and hemmed it up perfectly. I know that they can make alterations in a short period of time, but I was ahead of schedule, so I scheduled pick-up for 2 weeks later. She did an awesome job. I wouldn't have known that she did anything, except that the dress fit perfectly. Since she did such a great job, I brought a couple suit jackets and pants to be dry cleaned. Best tailor I've ever seen, and I've seen really excellent tailors before. She was fast and precise.

I brought my wedding gown here for some alterations (taking off some of the length, taking in the sides/back, and also trimming the neck portion). Mrs. Le did a wonderful job in just a few weeks and for a very economical price too! I paid less than $250 which seemed a lot cheaper than what other shops were charging. I had looked up Le's well over a year ago, but never quite made it in -- I pass it near daily on my route to Emory. I finally decided that my bag of clothes in need of repair had gotten to large. So I stopped in one Saturday and dropped out 5-6 items, all of which had torn seams somewhere. The kind woman looked over each piece with me, marked it and gave me my total. The repairs added up to $25 and she told me it would be ready next week. I picked up the following Saturday and Le's did not disappoint!
