don't go to this laundry matt the have set the lock doors time back further and further without putting up any signs up indicating this to anybody. while still showing their operations time the same. the previous owners at least had a closer. i will be putting a complaint in with the mn department of human rights. for these violations this behavior is a violation of multiple standards, including: ​minn. stat. § 604.01 (negligence): failure to protect property under your care. ​minn. stat. § 325f.69 (consumer fraud): deceptive business practices regarding operating hours. ​mn rules 7511.1008 (fire code): safety violations regarding building access and egress. this is ridiculous i've been out here for a hr in a half. read more

I was very upset that on Monday, September 29, 2025 the laundry room on White Bear Avenue states they are open from 6 AM to 11 PM Monday through Friday. I went there to wash my clothes. None of the washers were working none of the dryers were working except three or four at 9:45 PM. I step outside to load my clothes. I try to walk back inside and the laundry room is completely locked! nowhere on the laundry store, doors or window states that they are closing early at 9:45 PM. They still have their open sign open and there's nothing no one can do. No one's answering the phone not even on the new number I am very disappointed. The owner cannot be reached. What is going on. Been washing here for years. Sometimes you might notice washer machines not working or dryers not staying closed BUT there will always be some available. I really like this laundromat. I have filtration bags which need to be washed periodically and their high speed extraction wash machines are amazing. Not only do they come out clean, they are so dry I don't need to do anything else with them. The staff is very friendly and quick too help and offer their advice. They us a card system instead of coins and it's doo much easier. I think the machines are perhaps more dependable since it doesn't nabbed a mechanical apparatus to accept change. My roommate and I went to this laundromat when our washing machine died. I can't tell you how much I dislike laundromats- hot, humid, stuffy, often dirty, not exactly cheap, and you never know how clean the washing machines will get your clothes. I have to say though, if I have to go to one, this was the place to go. We were there for just a bit over an hour, and that included washing, drying, and folding about 8 loads worth of clothes. The Laundry Room has a lot of machines, so we did not have to worry about having to wait. They have a great selection of washing machine sizes, including machines that can hold up to 8-10 loads of laundry. If you ever need to wash blankets, comforters or other really bulky items, it is absolutely no problem to find a suitable washing machine here. The facility was clean, the washing machines are sanitized, they have vending machines for laundry supplies if you need them, and they have snacks and drinks too. There were not a lot of places to sit while our laundry was done, but there were some chairs. Our laundry came out clean and the washing machines spin so well our clothes only needed 20 minutes in the dryer and they were done. I have a few tips for first time visitors: 1) Other reviewers mentioned that they take credit cards. This is sort of true. You can't use a credit card with the machines. You need to have a laundry card, but you can use a credit card to load money on the laundry card. I did not see ANY machines that accepted coins, but this being my first time there, I may have missed something. 2) The laundry cards are FREE, which I loved about this place. I have had to pay as much as $10 just for the card alone in other laundromats. 3) You may miss that the machines have containers on top of them to put in detergent, bleach, and softener in. They have step stools there that you can stand on to get to them on top of the larger machines. 4) There was no water in the snack vending machines when we were there, so I don't know if that is ever an available option. Bring water with you if that is what you want to drink. For that matter, bring whatever snacks and drinks you want with you, but they do have the option to buy stuff there. You may not have a lot of time for snacks though, because the washing machines only took 21 minutes to wash all of our clothes, and as I said, only 20 minutes in the dryer. Despite my less than great feelings about laundromats, this was time well spent, and we had piles of well cleaned clothes at the end of an hour. We'll be back again, at least until our washing machine gets fixed. read more

This place used to be awesome, but now it is run down and things are broken and they refuse to fix them. The lock on the men's room has been broken for years, as has the card reader on one of the two vtm machines. The handicap door button is broken and the ceiling tiles are water damaged enough that one of the television sets was ruined and taken down. read more

After my dryer breaking down and then my washer, our laundry situation was becoming a problem. We hauled about 4 baskets full of everything we needed cleaned. Of course, we get all the way there and forgot our laundry soap. They do have soap here but we just walked right next door to the Walgreens to get soap (and snacks :). Not only do they have a dedicated lot, so it was easy to bring in our small mountain of laundry, they also have an attendant who could very clear see that we were lost as to what to do. I literally brought a small baggies of quarters thinking, "this is how this is done!" Right! Wrong! They have a card system that you load money on the card and then use the card to do the laundry. Once the friendly attendant showed us how the card worked, he explained how many loads could fit in there super sized washers. I was pleasantly surprised. Again, I got snacks and brought a book to do keep me occupied, did I need them! No! (I think this just showed how long ago I had used a laundromat last! Ha! We used 3 super washers and could have just used 2, they were done in 30 min. Everything was very well washed and we could choose the level of wash we needed. The only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the attendant didn't mention to me that the dryers will dry longer then 5 min at a time. No signs how to do that or anything. And of course the last 2 min of dryers is a cool down. After $18 on dryers. He was like oh yeah you have to put the card in more than once to add time. Thanks! But seriously, easy, quick and helpful for the most part. If we need to do laundry outside the house again, we will be here! read more

The machines are nice enough, but we needed an attendant and evidently they don't exist. Chairs were absolutely filthy - to the point that we wouldn't sit down. One looked like it had blood stains, which was enough to make us wish we had picked somewhere else. We went by the other reviews and are disappointed. We'll be going elsewhere for sure. read more

She stole my tide told me i couldnt wash after 9 in past they let me start a load at 1030 and leave in dryer running after close and return in morning for my load. Been coming here every week to do laundry for the past 3 years and will continue coming. I have a washer and dryer at my apartment but I don't like using it because it's not clean as theirs and it doesn't wash my clothes that well. After this visit I won't be coming back here ever again. I've been coming to The laundry room for a few months now. My first few experiences were fine, some of the employees were nice and helpful with questions that I had and they kept the place clean, kept busy as I would assume that's their duties as an employee here? But today I've experienced the most rudest customer services I've ever encountered from this particular employee working during Sunday afternoon shift. She seems to not care of her duties like the rest of the employees that I've seen and met. She sat behind the counter most times and on the counter touching her phone or watching TV. She has the worst attitude as an employee. I had a rolling cart with my box of fabric sheets in it and in front of my washer ready for my cycle of blankets to finish and she literally took out my box of fabric sheets placed it on top of the washer and proceeded to use the cart as if it was hers to begin with. I went over to check to see if my cycle was finished and surely it was, but my cart was with her and she was using my cart to transfer some wash cloths she had washing next to my cycle of blankets into a dryer right across from my cycle of blankets. I asked her politely "excuse me did you just take my cart?" she replied with a rude attitude "Yes I did, if it's not in used it's up for grabs". I thought to myself for a second, really there's a unwritten rule like that? I then stated "Oh ok that's rude", she rudely replied "if it's not in used then anyone can use it", I replied "but that's still rude because my box of fabric sheets were still in there". She finished transferring her wash cloths and replied with the most rudest attitude "I can easily place it back" and pushed it towards me and the cycle of blankets, by that time I have decided not to use the cart anymore, I grabbed my box of fabric sheets and told her "That's ok I'll just go use my basket instead" and shift the cart back to her dryer of wash cloths. As I'm completing my review and now that I thought about it, she could have been the lead employee or even the manager? She acted as if she owned the place. Who ever she is whatever she is, with that kind of rude attitude and tone along with the worst customer service she provided today she's bound to lose great customers. read more

I've been coming here for 8 years and don't even live in the area because and I'm sad to say I will never be going back again. Tonight I had the worst customer service from the owner I explained my issue which was that the machine double charged me and second it didn't wash my clothes as they still stunk and were dirty. I've had issues in the past with this washer but being there was no out of order sign I thought it would be safe to assume that the washer worked correctly. The other washers that size were in use and I have a large family of 11. I explained to the owner that it was washer 35 and usually if that happens in the past that the attendant working would kindly just re-start the washer for free. Instead the owner told me there was nothing he could do about it and he would let the attendant know they would be fired if they ever did that again and why would I use that washer if I had problems in the past with it. I'm sorry but he took no accountability and nor was I compensated for my inconvenience so I'm out 14.25 and still have 4 loads of dirty clothes. Will never refer anyone there again! read more

Really convienent place to do laundry. I had problems with the card machine but I'm glad that they have someone always there to help. It gets busy on weekends. So its better to go on weekdays if you don't want to wait too long. They have drop off as well, which is nice for people who don't want to stick around to do their laundry.
