SUCH A CUTE STORE! I came here specifically to look at their Kaftan dresses (which are beautiful). The kaftan dress was too big, but I was surprised at their large selection of apparel and happily purchased a different dress. The store is huge with so many products to peruse. I also got a goat hand cream that is so moisturizing. The only downside is the dressing room - props for having one (since some stores don't) - but it could use some TLC, specially hooks to hang clothes on. I love the Lazy Daisy locations here and in Williamsburg. They have a cute rotating selection of artistic pieces from a range of vendors. Some lean religious but there's plenty of non-religious items too. I've purchased three pieces of art for my apartment. One is in my kitchen and two are hanging in my living room. I really like what they curate. They have other items too, like jewelry, soaps, kitchen fare, and some clothing, but I tend to veer toward the home decor. The Lazy Daisy has lots of unique gifts and I normally don't leave without purchasing something. I like the idea of supporting a small business and buying hand crafted items. I've shopped three different locations multiple times. I was disappointed this year when I shopped this location for Christmas ornaments and decor only to find out most of my ornaments had been purchased from Hobby Lobby. These ornaments were marked up and I could've purchased them at Hobby Lobby for about 80% less during the 60% off sale. My husband and I were quite pissed as we were strolling the isles at Hobby Lobby finding ornament after ornament that we just purchased the day before for way more. We felt like we had been taken advantage of. This will not stop me from shopping The Lazy Daisy but I will be more cautious of my purchases. read more

I would like give NO STARS if I could. I just had the worst customer experience from Rachel at Lazy Daisy. This has always been my go to store for quick gifts and home decor, but I will NO longer shop at this establishment. When I spoke with the manager she sided with the disrespectful young employee and said she must be having a "bad day". UNACCEPTABLE. Time to train your sales people on communication and customer service. I was humiliated at the way she handle the conversation in front of a store full of customers. This store is ADORABLE, there really is no other word for it! You really need to set aside a good portion of time to make sure you can see everything it has to offer. I've never been to any of the other locations, but this Lazy Daisy is almost maze-like, each section set up by another vendor with different crafts, antiques, specialty gifts, etc. I ended up buying many of my Christmas gifts for teachers and neighbors here this year; I found so many adorable ornaments that everyone loved! I believe this is this store's 3rd location. It is located in short pump right past the mall. I decided to walk around because I was early meeting my friends for dinner. The shop is filled with lots of unique antiques and locally made items. It is huge and I couldn't possibly see everything on my first time in. I have passed by this store several times and always wonder what was inside. I finally went in and I'm happy that I did. It is the cutest place ever. It's filled with adorable little gifts and furniture. You have to definitely take your time and walk around the entire place. The stuff inside is definitely unique. The owner needs a lesson in how to run a business and deal with customers efficiently and professionally. She is non-responsive, non-apologetic and disorganized. It is a shame, because the vendors that sell things through this "vendor rents a booth" set up do lovely work and pay a fee to the store to have the store staff give lousy customer service to their buyers trying to buy. I have spent thousands in the stores over the years, and it hasn't improved the interactions. The storefront/owner spends too much focus on opening more stores and growth of the number of stores than customer care and service by getting their process of selling things online streamlined (you spend hours looking at a video...buy things and can't easily pick the items up and pay for them because they can't keep up with the volume). It's like going to a great restaurant with lousy service -- you can only take it so long. read more

The store is jammed full of a variety of items for the home! I like that it has a wide range of prices. Love that there are different themes for each booth so you arent locked in to shopping for one particular 'look". What I didnt like was the way that the staff acted in the store.. Very unfriendly! At no time were we spoken to by the staff - no greeting when we entered - no questions on if we were finding what we wanted when we passed a store clerk. Nothing. We waited for about 10 minutes for the cashier to get off the phone to pay for our items - even though another employee came up to get something off of the front desk. Apparently her conversation did not go well because she was frowning the entire time during the phone call and when she ringing up our purchase. She didnt say anything to us during the transaction except at the very end when she murmured a few words. It was actually kind of strange. Think I may try the Midlo store the next time. read more
