I tend to go to this HomeGoods since it's in Short Pump and close to other shops I want to visit. It's pretty organized and I usually am able to find what I'm looking for. I love how HomeGoods changes with the seasons. You're able to find cute seasonal goods and great gifts. On my recent visit, I wanted to get a basket and some fall blankets. I had fun looking at all the Halloween decorations. The people who work here are always sweet and do a good job at keeping the store as organized as possible. You can find a lot of unique finds for good prices. Since it's in a strip mall, it's easy to find parking too. I love coming to this HomeGoods. read more

This is the closest Homegoods to my home. So I go often. The store is always so dirty and unkempt. The restrooms are dirty, the entrance has debris and gum stuck all over. There is dirt left on the floor after shelves are moved. And it is always crowded and tough to maneuver in to see items. The biggest issue for me is how dirty it is, inside and out. read more

As an avid shopper, I'm seldom overwhelmed by a store... but today... today I was overcome by the muchness in this HomeGoods! I mean, if you need a basket... they have, no, not a couple dozen to chose from, but hundreds! And that goes the for the glassware, the faux plants, the shower curtains, and the rows and rows of pillows! We sauntered down every aisle... the lamp and shade selection was extensive! So many candles! Lots of pet items, toys and gourmet foods! The furniture section is smaller, but offers unique finds! With so much stuff, you'd think this store would be disorganized but it extremely tidy! There is tons of eclectic and cool boho home décor! I hope they're still there cause I heard a lot of these stores are closing, but this HomeGoods is amazing. It's well kept. It's well run and there's not stuff all over the floor like it used to be. The linens are nice and fluffy and you can buy some really nice, upscale furniture if you can afford it however, my favorite thing here has got to be the dog stuff and also the candles. read more

This is a stand-alone HomeGoods store situated at the eastern edge of Short Pump's oasis of chain stores. It's close to the entrance to 64 and also near Whole Foods. I'm not used to HomeGoods being separated from Marshall's, but I liked it. Plus the single checkout line was more tolerable. I visited for a jewelry cabinet. I used to keep my jewelry on my dresser pre-cats. I no longer can keep anything out without them investigating, so grown-up jewelry box was the next step. I found a really nice one for $60. Pretty steep but worth it. It's been a few months and it's holding up great. Loads of other home decor and useful items to be found around the store. Most are pretty affordable. I love it here!! To some the thought of strolling over filled aisles in search of a good deal sounds awful but I love it! There are so many cute items for your home here: festive holiday blankets, exotic coffee flavors, cute lamps and so much more! I have been to this store 4 times out of the past 5 days. You may read that and think that I have a problem. To that I would say... "You're Right: A Saving Money Problem"! Which is probably the best problem to have. Home Goods is one of those stores that I always forget about until it's time to redecorate. I don't know how I forget because I work out next door for crying out loud! I am always so shocked at the stellar selection. It's like a decorator's dream. There is something there for every style that you could be going for in your home. There are so many cute things, you need to block out a good amount of time for your visit to this store. I even got my husband on the Home Goods train this week. Since moving into his home, we are in the middle of doing a complete overhaul of the design and decor. There's literally no end to the amazing things that we have found. We've walked out with curtains, curtain rods, dry erase calendars, bathroom items, clothes hampers, decorative baskets, kitchen items, bed sheets, and even dog items! It's clear the store is having issues with supply chain. The last two times I went to the store there was very little merchandise, with mostly empty shelves. I'm going to stop to see if they have anything for autumn. If nothing is available there, I will go to The Christmas Shop which is always well stock with seasonal decor. read more

This is my second or third visit to a Home Goods store and I have to say this location was the best one out of all of them. Home Good is an extension of TJMAXX and offers only home goods products and accessories. This store was highly organized by specific use and department and was also very clean and not cluttered whatsoever. They have everything from lighting to home décor to rugs to bedding and bath products and of course small furniture items like drawers, desks, chairs, dining tables, etc. We weren't looking for anything in particular really and usually go in just to walk around and see what they have to offer. They have a wide variety of items in this store, and most, not all are a good deal. I know most people think this is a "discount" store or similar to like an outlet but be cautious of the prices, as some items may be more expensive than at other stores. They also have a small selection of snacks, baking items, spices, and drinks as well too. If I need to get someone a house warming gift or if I am moving and need some upgraded items this store would be the first place I would check out. read more

The staff was super awesome and amazing. This was my first time inside and I came in looking for stuff to decorate my in home work space. Some of the customers were a bit rude and aggressive though. I was trying to follow the arrows to stay out of the way but no one else seemed to care. I would definitely come back when I have more time to browse a little bit longer. read more

When we lived in Short Pump for a year, this Homegoods store took all money! Well, you know what I mean, it felt like it did. Hehe. Homegoods and TJ Maxx are affiliated & this store carries just that - only goods for the home - furniture, rugs, decor and accessories for any room of a home or even business - chairs, shower curtains, bedding, frames, paintings, faux flowers, vases, the list goes on. There are small knick knacks and gifts for anyone and everyone. Need a gift? Come here. Need something for yourself? Come here. Not only is there a great selection, but the prices can't be beat either. If you see something you like, definitely grab it because it most likely won't be there tomorrow or even "later" that same day. The store is big and bright, and the workers are always friendly. Watch out for the area where the line forms - it'll get ya! There will always be at least one thing that you need, but you don't need, but you do! I have an addiction to, and a collection of their .99 reusable bags. New pattern and color? Sold. I have at least 30. Ahhhhhh. read more

Where do I start! I've shop here many many time, and LOVE it! Not only that I've shop here, I even mention how wonderful they are to my friends and families. I even compliment them many time on their customer service. But then today! The cashier was being so impolite, unprofessional and mainly rude, and all because I have purchased a few items and I didn't not want. I'm guessing she must not want to do my returns for me? So if you're not satisfied with your purchased, I'm guessing Homegood rather you keep what you bought? And be unhappy? Anyhow, I bought a few decorating plates and it was all still wrapped from the day I have purchased it. I came back and decide to return them because It was too small for my table. And two big curtains that will not work for my living room. But this lady made me unwrap everything in order for her to continue my refund? Is this something new to a brand new layout at home good? On top of that she even made me take out the curtains out of the bags ? What happen to doing your jobs as the have hire you too? This is beyond disappointing to a store where I enjoy and love to shop at for almost everything in my home. And this is what they do to their customers. You know you can practically redecorate an entire room, by shopping at Homegoods? Yup, you sure can. This designer redid her parents bedroom almost completely from Homegoods- http://littlegreennotebook.blogspot.com/2010/03/my-parents-new-bedroom.html And after shopping in the Richmond location of this store myself from time to time, I can totally believe it. Homegoods carries an array of furniture and home accessories (including kitchen stuff, plates, etc.) all at discount prices. You can redo a bathroom, pick up some seasonal decorations for the living room, or find a gift for a hard-to-please family member here. It's owned by the same company as TJ Maxx, but it's focused exclusively on (as the name implies) housewares... some of my favorite finds include a large tin wall installation that looks like a collection of decorative plates, which I got for $50 at Homegoods, but saw a smaller version of for $80 at Pier One. I also snagged a huge leather-looking ottoman that makes a perfect coffee table (with storage inside) for under $80. They do have a 30 return policy (keep your receipt!) so it's always better to buy an item when you see it, and return it if it turns out to be too big/too small/wrong color, than to go home and think about it- it will likely be gone by the time you return the next day. That's a tip from the store manager, who carried the huge ottoman I bought out to my car the first weekend the store was open- I thought that was incredibly nice- here he was super busy, and he found time to carry something to my car. read more

I was told when arrive to pick up a specific item it would come wrapped for protection. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. I asked one of home goods employee about the situation and it seemed like he was in a pretty bad mood. I understood.. I know they work really hard for the $10 an hour. Anyways, there were 3 useless managers who observed my situation & walked away once they saw me having an issue. I asked the manager who sold me that item of the situation & my expectations & she attempted to brush me off instead of trying to resolve the issue. I ended up wrapping this item MYSELF (labor). Due to the outcome of this situation I will never shop at this Home goods again & I highly advise you to avoid shopping here.
