This place can be the best or the worst. Best - Low prices. Great variety Worst - You gotta make sure you check thoroughly at the food. There could be mold. Surprisingly affordable an and well stocked store. Relatively new. Stores typically evolve so let's see what this one turns into. I have high hopes for more grain products but those can be tricky. The wrong products and they may sit on the shelf collecting dust. The store has a small footprint so they need to be prudent. read more

I reported on this new business a year ago. It continues to sell quality priduce at reduced prices. Today I was looking for mums. For similarly sized plants. Lowe's charges $15.99, and Leafy Basket $6.99, or 2 for $12. No brainer where to go. read more

Love this place. It's super clean. Great selection of produce at low prices and customer service is exceptional. I once was looking for a ripe papaya which was not on the shelf, one of the workers saw me doing it and figured out what I was trying to do. He brought out a case of ripe papayas from the back so I could pick one. I don't think anyone has ever done that for me even at upscale supermarkets. read more

Brand new! It's an Asian market kinda place, except large and spacious. Very fair prices, the produce looks pretty good.

The leafy basket is my go to when I don't feel like going to the big supermarket. The price of the produce is good. The bread is delivered fresh daily and they have beautiful floral arrangements. They open early which is also a plus. read more

This place reminds me so much of "Times - Farmers Market" that was in Plainfield about 10+ years ago. Similar layout and decor. Discovered this place on 22 on a whim and found that the prices and freshness of the produce were excellent. The store is very clean and orderly and it appears to have a good turnaround on the perishable foods. Great to shop at a produce market other than the big box or overly expensive supermarkets. read more

Today June 07, 2024 went to buy vegetables, I noticed that the many of the items are in bad condition. When I got home the limes I bought and I cut them I saw dark spots inside the limes and I threw them in the garbage. Probably that is why they sell very cheap stuff and we the customers are in risk of getting bacteria or salmonella. Do not go there. read more
