That said, I have been delighted to find such a welcoming place full of capable, friendly, and patient instructors who are willing to help me learn and improve my form. The Pleasanton studio is clean and well organized and it is easy to schedule or change classes through their app. But really, the people who teach the classes, and those who attend them, make a difference with their positivity and encouragement. A bonus benefit (for me at least) is the mental workout I get too. I need to focus and concentrate during the workouts; both on getting my form correct and on the instructions given during the class. I like the variety of class formats offered and the ever-changing exercises done within each class. The variety keeps things fresh and helps me stay engaged and challenged. I want to stay fit and healthy as I age and Pure Barre classes will help me do just that.

All the instructors are welcoming and sweet, but they're great at providing feedback on your form without making you feel icky.

I had such great success with the program that I wanted to return and continue to build on the initial success I had achieved. I wasn't sure how an online program would compare to the in-person experience I had the first time. I was worried that wouldn't get the same amount of individualized attention. However, my personal coaches, Tom and Nicole, quickly put my fears to rest. My first day I had an in-depth conversation with my new Coaches. I was given my initial individualized meal plans, access to the Facebook groups, and other amazing online tools I would be utilizing during the program. The personal guidance provided by Tom and Nicole really helped me through my struggles with accountability and motivation! The check-ins keep me motivated to keep going and Stay On Track. And the special Facebook groups gives me access to other Lifelighters going through the program for peer support. The online program has allowed me to workout and maintain my diet on my schedule and on my terms. This means that I have been able to fit in online workouts when I Never would have made it to the gym, making working out Easier! The meal plans have been incredibly easy to follow and very realistic and user-friendly. Hunger isn't a problem. Little by little I have begun replacing small bad habits with healthier, more productive habits. As time goes by it becomes easier to maintain these healthy and productive changes. With the help and guidance of my amazing coaches I have lost pounds, body fat, some bad habits and plenty of negative thought patterns. I've gained a more positive self image, a healthier life style and a stronger mind and body - all while having some fun being a part of the Lifelight Fitness Family. This isn't going to be some short-term success either. The Lifelight Fitness program has made my Lifestyle a healthier one. I will benefit from my healthier lifestyle long after the program is over. The first days after signing up were mentality and physically challenging but I didn't quit and kept pushing myself. Having constant support from my coach has made it easier to follow the program. Now after a month of following a nutrition plan, intermittent fasting, and exercises I have lost 10+ pounds so far. I am happy because I feel much lighter and pleased with changes I seeing in my body.

Prior to training with Francisco, I did 12 marathons. I had one goal - to finish in under 4 hours. Several times I came close but the goal eluded me time and time again. This year, I decided to do something different and signed up for weekly sessions with Francisco. First and foremost, he analyzed my gait and noticed that my right leg was much stronger than my left and that I was tight in several areas. As such, we worked on strengthening exercises and flexibility every single week. I was also injured, suffering from piriformis syndrome and shin splints, so he swapped 2 days of running on the weekly calendar for the elliptical machine. Francisco also ensured I did my long runs slow. If I'm being honest, I wondered how running less and running slow would ultimately help me run faster come race day but I trusted Francisco and his process. In late June 2019, I ran the Missoula marathon, had over a 5 minute PR, and came in at 3:57!!! 2) Family feel - the whole Fit Potato staff is warm, inviting, fun, and friendly. 3) Long term health - some places/people will push you too hard and you end up injured. Francisco and the Fit Potato team challenge you but they also know that you cannot achieve your goals if you're injured. If you are looking to achieve a goal or simply to improve your overall fitness in a healthy way, I would highly suggest you give Fit Potato a try!

Initially…read more I was somewhat hesitant, not sure what to expect but glad I made the decision to come in for One-on-one Training and a few classes. I really liked that the classes are small, every time I show up there is only 6-10 people in classes which is great for me and has allowed me to get more help with my form and accountability. I have also done 4 sessions with on One-on-One Personal Training with Coach Francisco so he could guide me and make suggestions so I can keep a routine going when I go back home. This has been priceless, I have never been able to maintain a fitness routine and get to the point where I enjoy it and miss not doing it. If you are in town for work or live in the area and you are seeking small personal classes with lots of teaching and accountable or seek more direction in the form of Personal Training I highly suggest you give The FIT Potato a try. I was very pleased with coaches dedication to teach and truly make fitness not just a workout but something personal and focus around long term results. I have a new outlook on fitness and look forward to every workout. Huge Mind shift change.

You'll catch on easy of which instructors genuinely care about your growth. However, in-terms of experience & background - every instructor is absolutely legit. And I do believe it's the best gym around. During open gym hours - gym is closed 60-70% of the time which is incredibly frustrating since some people want to put in that extra work to really get better; plus paying them $180/month so I try to maximize my use of the gym itself. Not sure if it's a staffing issue but I probably have been turned away 50+ times thus far, quite frankly, it sucks. Can't have open gym hours if you're not open. Hopefully they improve at the new facility.

The manager there Olivia came outside after she finished what she was doing and asked me what she could do to help me. I told her I was thinking of canceling. She asked more questions about what was going on in my life and really encouraged me to sign up for the transformation challenge. She was so supportive and I was really impressed that she followed me outside to see how she could help me. If it wasn't for her, I probably would've quit my membership and would not be where I am today. The challenge is almost over. I've been coming to the gym regularly and almost daily. I am seeing so many changes in my life positive changes. Now that I'm working out regularly, I'm stronger and faster. I'm making progress. I'm eating better. I'm sleeping better. My mind is positive and things that I found really hard to do are now relatively easy. I am so much happier and I feel so good! I cannot thank Olivia enough for reaching out to me in the way that she did. She went above and beyond for sure. I also want to rave about the coaches at the Dublin Orangetheory! I have never worked out in a place where the coaches actually remember my name and walk around and encourage me with my own personal goals. I arrived and they asked if I had grippy socks and asked that I purchase them for safety reasons. They had plenty to choose from. The class size was very small (only 2 of us) so we got a ton of hands on attention and Grecia really made sure we were focused on the correct muscles for each exercise. The class was about 50 minutes long. I definitely would take a class from here again and would recommend to others!

Upon arrival we walked in and it was so empty in the front room. We waited a while and peeked around at the merch but no one came to the desk and the class was starting soon so we wandered into the back. We found the only room with silks hanging and entered, the instructor was incredibly off-putting and cold. She didn't welcome us, or even look at us when we approached her to intro ourselves. She scolded us for not checking in properly even though no one was in the building to tell us. She put my friend and I in far apart spots and when we requested to be near each other she huffed. The class itself is a whole lot of fun. Being new to using silks, the instructor explained the movements well and I felt confident in executing new moves. After she felt out the class she even walked us through a more advanced upside down movement. There was one student who was clearly very advanced in aerial yoga/acrobatics so the instructor had him do the majority of the demonstrations.

    Aloha, So I've waited 2 months before writing my review…read more I've attended over 50 % of the classes offered at all 4 Joya locations: - Livermore - Pleasanton - Dublin (before the closure) - Blackhawk I initially sign up for 1- month trial for $39.00. After that was complete I waited a week before I sign up for 3 month of all access pass (all access allows use of all locations) . Since I joined in October , I've completed 44 classes. I have attended classes at all four locations. I chose to try Joya because it offers Bikram Yoga, Circuit, HIIT, and more! All of the facilities are amazing. Their facilities are always clean and I love that three locations have showers. I enjoy attending 5:45 AM and 6:00 AM classes. The instructors are always energetic and excited to teach! , Considering most of us get up at like 4:45-5:00 AM to be at class by 6:00 AM. I have not yet attended - Joya Cycle (I have a sciatic issue) - jBarre (availability/classes always full) - jFit (availability/classes always full) - Cardio Blast (availability) - Ariel Yoga II (availability) Again, I can only attend early morning classes due to schedule. I have attended a few weekend classes which there is a ton of availability at all locations. I personally love how intense the HIIT/Pilates and Jcircuit classes are. I really get a total body workout in those classes. I love that Joya offers HOT Bikram in 60min, 75 min, and 90min sessions. I do one of those classes once a week. Bikram has done wonders for my health since I started doing it in. 2014. If you are looking to change up your routine, or to try something new. I highly recommend you doing a one month trial for $39.00 with Joya! I'm rating Joya 5 stars because of the classes they offer, the facilities, and my personal experiences with staff and instructors!
