Probably the biggest town homes I've seen in this area in a long time. They start at $399K. The selling center is very well maintained and our sales associate Janet, was very knowledgable. They offer you refreshments and little snacks as they walk you thru all the choices they offer. You can customize your town home to your own taste. I visited their website, looks like the development company has been around since 1997. They have 4 style Town Houses to pick from. Selection are: The Windermere, The Windsor, The Manchester, The Madison. Check out these links for more information: http://www.lambertspath.com/residences.php http://www.lambertspath.com/community.php http://www.lambertspath.com/index.php Come take a look for yourself. I will definitely be looking into purchasing a home here.

Fahy is the Richmond Ave. exit from the SI Xway. This service road is backed up almost all day long with cars trying to escape the ever present congestion of the xway. Rush hours are horrendous, Lamberts Lane is usually backed up from Richmond Ave to the 3 way traffic light. You will wait 2-3 lights to get through. The only other way out is via South Ave. Once there you have two options, turn right towards Forest Ave or left towards Travis. They are both busy but during rush hours, be prepared to wait. There are no shortcuts to exit the area.

We've been looking at property for a while so I've been to open houses before and I have to say, I've never experienced one like this. The second we arrived, we were bombarded with questions about our current home and how long we think it will take us to sell, etc. I felt like I was being ambushed by a sleazy tabloid reporter. It would have been great if we got her business card or name first. I only know what her name is from the sign in front of the house. And did I miss something? I thought we were just looking at the house briefly during this open house event. Not sure why she needed to know every detail about our jobs, living situation, every other house we've ever looked at on SI, etc. I wasn't aware I was doing a one-on-one interview for a biography. This woman then asked my husband if we need to sell in order to buy. First of all, most people who own and are looking to buy do need to, so I'm not sure what kind of BS question that was. Anyway, he hesitated for a few seconds to answer probably because he was just as uncomfortable as me and she replied for him with, "yes, no, maybe..." I found her tone and language incredibly abrasive which added to our experience being quite uncomfortable. There were two other things I thought were rude. First, she only asked my husband what he does for a living, not me. I suppose what I do isn't important because I'm not a man and it must be safe to assume I don't have a job that matters. Then I asked her about the boiler in the basement and she proceeded to show me the washer and dryer instead while ignoring my question. This lady needs to wake up and realize what decade she is in...times have changed but apparently her thinking has not. Perhaps if she went back to school and left the bubble she lives in, she might be more aware of the world we live in today. Needless to say, we left the house as soon as we could and won't be going back.

Their attention to detail was outstanding and they were always top notch professional. They took the time to fully comprehend what we were looking for and made sure that each house they showed us met the criteria that we required. I would highly recommend them to anyone who's looking to buy or sell their home!
