My favorite store to buy new Lego sets used to be this Roseville Franchise. Over the last two months, I have spent about $900 at this store. I'm not coming back. I've been filming my son checking out and putting the Legos in the bag for a long time. This time, even though George and Bean weren't on the video, I felt humiliated and that they were banding together to ask me to delete my video in front of other customers. This was meant to be an enjoyable and welcoming space. As soon as we walked into the store, we were ignored. No greetings. I paid $409 for this visit. Every consumer counts in this economy, particularly the clients who return to your business and spend a lot of money. My son and I were unhappy as we left the store. I called and spoke to Fava, who was supposedly the store manager, for the names of the employees. For a store manager, I would have expected more. She asked me how I would feel if someone began filming me while I was at work, turning the tables on me. I wasn't filming them, to start with. I was filming the Lego sets I was purchasing. George remarked, "I can't film until I'm paid." After I paid, he turned around and requested me to remove the video. Bean then began talking about regulations, to which I replied that I had done this several times and they had not responded in any way. I even tagged Lego. If anything, it's advertising. The location is open to the public. It is a mall. My video did not have their face on it. Why would I film their face? You shouldn't work in this store or any store that is open to the public if you're extremely sensitive. In any case, Fava acted unprofessionally and rudely. She threatened to ask me to leave her store. Is this a place she owns? I had to record the conversation on my phone as she was getting out of hand. Despite being the one who raised her voice against me, she said she didn't like my tone. Does Fava actually represent your store? Fava, George, and Bean have caused you to lose a significant customer. Bad news spreads quickly. If you keep them, you'll lose more business, and before you know it, your store will close. After receiving such treatment, why should I visit your store again? There's Walmart, the real LEGO store, and Amazon, which ships for free. If I ever franchise a LEGO store, I do not want Fava to represent my business. My goal is to have repeat business not lose customers. Until I had an apology and Fava, George, and Bean were gone, I would never return to this store. It's not a fun place to be. Not the values of Lego. I've never had a worse experience. I was thinking of just refunding the $409 back. Because after being treated that way, you don't deserve my business. read more

Who does not love the LEGO Store?!?! Growing up playing with legos was my pass time during heavy ice and snow storms. This was my fun time when everyone was busy and nothing to do!!! ;) Back in the day, my folks bought Lego sets from Walmart and other retail shops. We didn't have an actual Lego store. Well, at least in our area. This was the '80's ish era. My first set was a huge farm one. It was hours of fun for me. Fast forward in time, LEGO's have come a long way! Now they have pieces that you can buy. Specialty sets. The Harry Potter set looks amazing! The Star Wars ones are quite spectacular as well!!! There are so many amazing sets to pick up now. Such a cool place for my Lego people. Prices are a tad high and I've never heard of a sale here. The selection is excellent. The variety of options cover so many themes. This store is a must if you're looking for a cornucopia of these plastic puzzles. The customer service is to notch. Everyone is well educated on all things Lego. read more

They were attentive and great with kids. They had plenty of legos to choose from to make their post card. They got to keep it. My kids want to go back to attend another workshop. I love LEGO. So I love The LEGO Store too. I am looking for a birthday gift for my friend's grandson's birthday party and driving all over the city from Elk Grove to Sacramento to Roseville. I couldn't find what I wanted until I saw The LEGO Store in Roseville Galleria. Bingo! I don't have to go anywhere else anymore! I'm sure they have something good for the kids! The store is extremely busy when I'm there on Saturday afternoon. So many kids with their parents are inside the store looking for the LEGO they want or waiting for help, or lining up in front of the cash registers. OMG! This is the busiest store in the entire shopping mall! The store is nice and clean even though it has kids and adults all over every corner. All the LEGOs are separated into age groups and special interests groups like famous characters or equipment in the movies. They have a lot of choices. It takes me more than half an hour to make my decision! The LEGO Store is very colorful, and lots of lovely LEGOs all over the store. You can get what you want in this store if you like LEGO. But I think they need a bigger store soon! read more

I drove 40 minutes to be told they were closed at 8:30 when the mall doesn't close until 10. Without empathy the middle aged manager manager who was too busy staring away at an exhibit he was building said we're closed after trying to explain that I and my kids came to make a $250 purchase. In an era of COVID-19, shopping has taken on a new meaning, especially here in California. When I arrived to the LEGO Store, I found a long line of people awaiting entry to the brick paradise. The irony of this line was as deep as the line itself. Only 8 shoppers were allowed into the store at one time. Couple that with the fact there was also 8 employees in the store. One employee per shopper. That's just silly. The second token for a good chuckle was the fact that everyone in line wasn't even close to being 6 fit in distance. Take a look at my picture for that silliness. So after waiting over 30 minutes to gain entry, my son and I waltzed in and browsed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Don't take my introduction the wrong way, the staff has nothing to do with the nonsensical restrictions and thus I do not fault them for this. My son quickly found a set he desired and we went with the purchase. Again, the gentleman that rang us up was very friendly and made the purchase experience nice even after a 30 minute wait to enter the store. I have seen some negative reviews here and I am not sure if this was due to the store working with the crazy COVID guidelines or what, but I do know that my experience was a pleasant one once in the store. Suggestion for owner or manager: seating are for parents while kids peak their legos, as a parent I can only stand so much by the time I want to leave, of parents had seating area, kid would have more time to shop & more $$ for you! This store is average size comparing to their other store. Prices usually don't vary much from other Lego stores. The employees are disrespectful and uncaring, they risk customers' health in regard to covid, and their own store policy goes against itself and is discriminatory to families with more than one child and anyone with a disability or their caretakers. Two of my relatives carpooled together to the Roseville store last week. One was there to purchase a set for his kid. The other went to purchase a set for my aunt. My aunt loves LEGO, it's a great distraction from the horrors of life. Right now, my aunt is the only caretaker for my sick and disabled grandfather. He can't be left alone. The set these two went to the store for was sold out online so my aunt, who can't leave my grandfather, could not get one. When my relatives got to the store, there were two sets left. The employees would not let my relatives buy both sets. My relatives fit the requirements to buy them: two different people, two different credit cards, two different households. But the employees were rude and assumed my relatives are from the same household which means they assumed my relatives were lying. Now, this policy of only selling one set per household is discriminatory. It discriminates against families who have more than one child because only one child would get a set. (This absolutely goes against their company values which state they are 'caring'. Giving one child a set but not others does not hold up to that). It discriminates against disabled people because their relatives cannot buy them a set at the same time they buy themselves a set. And it discriminates against caretakers and anyone else who can't leave the house because it means someone can't buy the set for them. This policy also promotes the spread of covid. The more people who have to go to the store in person, the higher the risk to customers, to children, and employees. Please fix the policy of one set per person, it is dangerous and discriminatory. read more

I visited many different Lego stores, multiple times in some cases. It has always been a wonderful experience. The store is always well maintained and staff is always very friendly. Kudos to management. I like how they have a range of products for various ages and in different price ranges. It's nice that the product can be completely customized. I just wish they offered more individual pieces for the Pick & Build. This particular location seems a bit small, it gets a little over crowded sometimes, and it becomes a bit difficult to navigate around. I also wish the majority of the store wasn't so yellow. Otherwise, the store is always so inviting, and the product kind of sells itself. read more

The store couldn't have been more helpful in locating a couple of pieces that we're missing from two sets my daughter had got for Christmas, even though neither set was bought from the Lego Store, and one set was discontinued. The manager worked with my daughter to figure out what each of the pieces was, and he was able to replace both pieces and gave her an extra of both too. My family and I were at the mall doing some Christmas shopping. As soon as we walked into this Lego store, we were not greeted with a hello but instead were informed that they would be closing in a few minutes. (Fair enough) However after this, we were told 2 additional times that they were closing when it was very clear that we (1 of the 2 only families in the store) understood this point. After being frustrated that we had been interrupted 3 times, my husband decided to buckle our daughter back into her stroller so we could leave. After all.. it was very clear our business was not wanted. At this time an employee named Eric came over to tell us we needed to leave the store immediately. I have never experienced such appalling and unprofessional behavior from Lego store staff. After visiting lego land this year and being a frequent customer for many years, my family will no longer be back. I have been to this store at least half a dozen times or so to purchase new sets, and normally I am treated very well by the employees. Normally, everyone is knowledgeable and eager to help me find what I am looking for. However, this past experience left me very angry and not wanting to ever bring my business back. To give some background, I had purchased a $200 set days prior, then a couple days after that purchase, there was a promotion where you get a free set with a $199+ purchase. So of course I didn't want to miss out on that free set. So I went back with the receipt to see if I could get the free gift set, either return and rebuy with gift, or if they could just give it to me. When I inquired this a very rude employee, called Windy, said that it could not be returned without the set in hand. Luckily I had it in my car because I anticipated that it might be needed physically for the return, so I said oh I have it in the car I'll go get it. But this seemed to trigger her more and she says no no no I can't do that, that she wasn't going to sell it to me again if I returned it because it was not in stock in the store. But that shouldn't matter, I should be able to return the set and then rebuy it if I want to. But she kept insisting that I couldn't do that and I couldn't get the free set. It was against store policy apparently. And I wasn't so much mad at the fact that I couldn't return the set and get the gift, I understand if something is policy and they can't break that. What made me mad was that Windy was so rude as if I had personally wronged her or something. Other employees even overheard this conversation between us and looked scared to speak up. One guy motioned for me to come over and he was much kinder and apologized and explained that I could contact customer service and get the set.
