    The Unlikely Candidates on stage
    Heather C.

This is a beautiful venue! We came here from Albuquerque to see The Unlikely Candidates and were blown away with how nice this venue is. The bar is well stocked with anything you could want, the bathrooms were clean, the stage was a good size, and the ambiance was great. I really loved the chandeliers. We didn't have any food so I can't give input on that front, but this is a great venue.

    Friday night steak dinner

Luckily enough to find this hidden gem a few days ago and went back again last night for dinner with more friends. This is a private club that does require at least one person in your group to be a member. All 6 of us had steaks for dinner last night. Each steak was requested to be cooked at different temps. Me? I like mine a bit more "cooked and less pink". I'm gonna tell you, most cooks can't do that without turning a beautiful piece of meat into shoe leather. Chef here got every steak right! Huge slab of meat topped with a lot of perfectly cooked shrimp, delicious potatoes seasoned just right and the green beans cooked to perfection. Not soggy and not raw. Nice and crispy. Now, to the building. It's a very nicely renovated old warehouse. On my tour last night, I was told they repaired wagon wheels on one side and the bar/dining side was a parts store. When Covid isn't in full force, there's live music on stage. Out front is a wonderful patio for fresh air when it's nice out. The first night we came in, we were immediately greeted by Bo(sp), the bartender and Alice. The owner came over and gave us a lot of attention and made us feel so welcomed. Come To find out, we had been big supporters of their other location, Pecos Winery. On both nights, locals to the establishment came over and talked with us and made us welcomed. Would highly recommend this place for a few drinks and dinner.

    Artist for concert and venue

Here for concert. Easy to get to and park. Themed drinks were fun and delicious. Very close to the stage and fast service.

Herb roasted chicken, pork tenderloin, green beans with bacon and mushrooms, and spinach salad with candied pecans. Amaze.

We settled into the room just fine, it was spacious and seemed pretty clean. Aside from the window curtains needing a wash, I didn't really see anything that stood out to me as being that dirty. I checked the beds and they were both fine. The pillows could be a bit better, they were pretty flat and didn't offer much support. The "pull out" sofa sucked, it was quite hard and it was confusing trying to figure out how it folded out as it isn't your typical fold out sleeping sofa. You had to take all of the cushions and pillows off then grab two little handle things to flip the top half of the sofa onto the ground to open up the "bed" which is basically just a support box like you would put under a mattress. I also wish they had a slightly bigger trash can in the room, we have booked a suite for two nights with six guests in it and there was only one small can in the kitchenette and one small can in the bathroom. Breakfast was as you'd expect at a hotel. There wasn't a ton of seating so we ended up taking it back to our room.

He even called to ensure we were ok afterwards. Great guy. A bit older but decent w a small kitchen. Lamps and furniture were updated. Electrical and plumbing fixtures were older. Bathroom was a bit older but not ancient. Breakfast was ok as well. Waffle machine; juice machine; 2 hot dishes; cereal bar; Not the biggest spread but ok. Facility is ok, staff was great

We visited Roswell just to say we'd been there. The UFO Museum turned out not to be worth a stop,…read morebut the Roswell Museum & Art Center is a top-notch small regional museum. It has interesting exhibits of New Mexico and Southwestern art, along with a surprising amount of artifacts from Robert Goddard's life and pioneering work in rocketry. It was unexpected to find a museum of this quality in a small town. I especially enjoyed the paintings by Billy Schenck and the black and white architectural photographs of New Mexico subjects by Robert Christensen. There are several galleries of permanent exhibits, along with a number of rotating exhibits. Admission is by donation. Parking is plentiful in a lot next to the museum, and it's free.

If you're not much of a reader, you don't get the benefit of the full value of the museum but still definitely interesting to check out for just 7 bucks. There are clean restrooms here and a fun simulation as well as an awesome gift shop carrying lots of alien themed items. One thing that was very interesting is the Research center. I believe it's free without admission ( they accept donations). You can go inside and it's essentially a library with UFO and paranormal themed books, as well as a separate room for sci fi books and another room with more incident reports and such to look at. It's pretty neat and I wish I had more time to sit and read a few of the interesting books they had. In short, this place is more fun for adults than for kiddos but if the kiddos can read it may be interesting for them.
