    The Unlikely Candidates on stage
    Heather C.

This is a beautiful venue! We came here from Albuquerque to see The Unlikely Candidates and were blown away with how nice this venue is. The bar is well stocked with anything you could want, the bathrooms were clean, the stage was a good size, and the ambiance was great. I really loved the chandeliers. We didn't have any food so I can't give input on that front, but this is a great venue.

    Friday night steak dinner
    Lien R.

Luckily enough to find this hidden gem a few days ago and went back again last night for dinner with more friends. This is a private club that does require at least one person in your group to be a member. All 6 of us had steaks for dinner last night. Each steak was requested to be cooked at different temps. Me? I like mine a bit more "cooked and less pink". I'm gonna tell you, most cooks can't do that without turning a beautiful piece of meat into shoe leather. Chef here got every steak right! Huge slab of meat topped with a lot of perfectly cooked shrimp, delicious potatoes seasoned just right and the green beans cooked to perfection. Not soggy and not raw. Nice and crispy. Now, to the building. It's a very nicely renovated old warehouse. On my tour last night, I was told they repaired wagon wheels on one side and the bar/dining side was a parts store. When Covid isn't in full force, there's live music on stage. Out front is a wonderful patio for fresh air when it's nice out. The first night we came in, we were immediately greeted by Bo(sp), the bartender and Alice. The owner came over and gave us a lot of attention and made us feel so welcomed. Come To find out, we had been big supporters of their other location, Pecos Winery. On both nights, locals to the establishment came over and talked with us and made us welcomed. Would highly recommend this place for a few drinks and dinner.

    Artist for concert and venue

Here for concert. Easy to get to and park. Themed drinks were fun and delicious. Very close to the stage and fast service.

Herb roasted chicken, pork tenderloin, green beans with bacon and mushrooms, and spinach salad with candied pecans. Amaze.

The interior is surprisingly large with a spacious dining room to the right, more seating near the bar, and even an outdoor space that had live music when we went. Spicy Beef Nachos Appetizer: Chips topped with queso, green onions, jalapeños, black olives, tomatoes, guacamole, and sour cream. My friend got this and I had a couple bites. Chips were not soggy and it was large enough to cover as his dinner. Green Chile Burger: Topped with monterey jack cheese and roasted chopped Chaves County-grown hot green chile. Served on a jalapeño bun with a side of our hot green chile sauce. Their signature burger and it tasted good. I don't need too much food but the amount of fries I got was too little even for me. Got two Johnny Walker Blacks with a splash of coke and they came well mixed and quickly. We did end up getting rained in and hilariously went back for a second dinner to wait out the rain. Black corn taquitos were OK, I would not get the fried shrimp basked again, the shrimp was too small and there was too much breading.

The hostess (whose name I forget) went out of her way to take special care of our huge group of 10 people who dropped in on her on a busy night. Our server Heather was a total rock star! She had never heard of Pink Floyd (heresy!) but treated us like royalty. All in all I would have to believe that Peppers treats every single customer like this - and highly recommend a stop.

They don't bother me at all, but we also had to shoo away them and especially flies which are sure annoying. I opted for a whole #9 turkey with black olives ($13). I am glad I did get chips, salad, or soup. It would have been too much for me. The avocado on my sandwich was a bit of a turnoff, having browned quite a bit. However, it was tasty. My oldest got a whole #12 BLT ($14). That thing had a ton of bacon strips which she didn't share. Lol. She at all of it. She had a cup of tomato basil soup which I thought was okay. Not my favorite. The lemon berry mascarpone cake ($7) was very delicious even though the cake part fell apart easily. Our waitress was friendly, but just a bit weird at times - like not handing me the receipt when I reached for it. She instead placed it further out in front of me. She just was in La La Land I guess. I would back for a lazy brunch with mimosas.

We only ate here because we were exhausted after a long day of traveling, and the convenience factor of it being inside our hotel trumped the less than superlative Yelp reviews. The Ugly: *Pub chips were a bit overcooked (i.e., burnt) TLDR: Maybe the low reviews gave us low expectations, but it wasn't terrible. If you're staying at the Holiday Inn, and you have the energy to go elsewhere, then by all means, do it. But, if you're exhausted and just want edible food, then this ain't a terrible option.

Buffalo wings came with 6 (kinda high price IMO), and pub chips. Wings were a good size, had been baked, the flash fried. Good and tasty! Pub chips good to too. Came with ranch, celery and carrot sticks. Beef sliders had 3 to an order. Had cheddar cheese and bacon on them. Also came with pub chips. They didn't look great and first, but had a great taste to them! Drinks were nice. The only happy hour they had was Bud light and Coors light for $3. From 5-7pm. No apps on happy hour prices. You do have to ask for the 10% discount for staying there (show them room key). Only reason to take a star away was service.

We rolled into Roswell to do some sight seeing and this place was right behind our hotel - perfect. It was a Monday at 1:30p and the place was half full. Nobody at the hostess station, but we can see staff sees us so we wait and wait and wait. Finally we get a table and we realize, while the place is half full, there are 3 large parties (10+ people) and the bar is packed (not a seat to be had). We should have just left, but they grabbed our drink order and told us one of the groups was leaving and it was all good. Yeah, no, it wasn't. The Mormon missionary group of about a dozen next to us seemed to have a table, 12 waters and EACH individually ordered a take out meal and had to b checked out as 12 different tickets! The other table of ten on our right seemed to have put in drink and food orders and had been waiting for who knows how long. Finally, after another 15m the hostess asked for our drink orders again and said she would get them as our waitress was taxed. OK. She comes over with two random beers and I look at her and am like, this isn't what we ordered (twice) and she just looks puzzled (about 5 minutes later after wandering and asking around it ends up being two drinks for the table next to us). We still have no drinks. We are about to leave when the waitress comes and apologizes and runs to get our beers. Then she gets our order and can tell we are little annoyed. I must say after this everything came out fast and we got out in like 20m after that - because who wants to sit around and be ignored anymore. Not a great experience. Food was fine. Service was abysmal.
