    My wine sampler / flight
    Sara C.

We stopped by on a Wednesday night for some beverages. The wines from Pecos Flavors were delicious and they had great draft local beers. Sara was delightful to work with and made great recommendations. The restaurant was nicely decorated and felt very welcoming. The guest musician played beautifully w jazz and blues. We didn't get a chance to try the food but would highly recommend this place. I tried PF Pinot Grigio, Cab, Merlot. All tasted light and amazing. Need to come back again when in town in Roswell again.

I absolutely loved this spot for a Saturday afternoon snack and drinks! I wish I was hungry enough for dinner because the chips and green chili queso dip was amazing! Our server was super kind and helpful. She even gave us recommendations for places to go on the rest of our trip in other cities. It's a beautiful space inside too. And my wine flight was perfect. Get a flight so you can try lots of different New Mexico wines! Prices were also very good.

Trying out a new place; for us anyway. Have driven past this bistro so many times. The ambiance was good & they have a good variety of New Mexican products for sale. Our hostess/server was friendly & attentive. The salsa is good with a rich roasted flavor with medium hot spice. The green chile "queso" is more like a cream cheese dip with a tart pickled green chile. I think we were served the dip instead which would make sense. Not a fan of the tart flavor. Craving chicken salad, I ordered the sandwich on a croissant. The croissant is not your classic flaky croissant. The scant amount of chicken salad was disappointing especially with the $13 price. It didn't pop with flavor but was fresh. It needs more garlic, dill weed or salt & pepper. Hubby loved the brisket on ciabatta bread. It was delicious! I'll order it next visit. Iced tea was wonderful! The menu is large so I will try other offerings next time.

Even a wipe to clean up after a wonderful testing!

I called ahead to find out about the wine tastings, Taylor not only helped me decide about the tastings but also invited me to try the Sirloin with green chiles which was wonderful. From the time you enter the doors you're welcomed with a delightful decor and staff. With plenty of selections of wine and custom beers, there is reasons to go back was often as you can. There are events planned each night and excellent selections on the gift shop. If you're in Roswell, don't let this gem pass you by!

One of the nicest restaurants/wineries in town. We came during the lunch. They provided a parking lot, but when we got there only 1 spot left. As for the town's theme, an alien statue welcomes you at the door. We seated quickly and live music was going on. Moderate crowd and noise were there. We seated one of the high tables by the wines. I got a bowl of soup of the day and a half sandwich; number 7 (turkey with chipotle puree and red onion). and also got a wine flight. The soup was good it had pork and chickpeas. Cooked perfectly fine, and had fewer pieces of pork but still good. The flavor had a good balance. I enjoyed it. About the sandwich; even though I ordered a half, I thought it was going to be a little bigger than what they served. It finished in 2-3 bites. Good for a kid. At least it had a good amount of turkey for a small bite. About the wine flight; since I had not tried any of their wines before, I just asked for something red but not sweet or super sweet. The flight came with 3 wines. Only one of them was enjoyable for my taste. And, one of them was super sweet, it tasted like a German hot wine but not hot. My husband got a burger with mushrooms and a beer flight. The burger was good. As for the beer, we weren't able to pick. It was whatever was on draft. Some of them were good, the others were bitter. It was my birthday, so we wanted to try one of their desserts as well. Went with the raspberry cheesecake. It was a good touch, not overly sweet. They put a candle. Cute. But no clean utensils for the dessert As for service; our server was nice, but seemed like running around a lot, passing around the tables with nothing. We had to draw attention a few times. And, definitely, no one took off the empty plates from the table. The table was already small with plates, flights, and water glasses even for 2 people, once the dessert came we had to put the plates together. My husband even asked if she could remove them, she said in a second but those were there until we left. Same with the bill; we asked for the bill. It came, we put on our credit card and waited, waited and waited. I could ask for another flight while waiting. Anyway, we were so over with it, and collected all the cash on us to pay the bill & tip. It wasn't like only one server working thing. Even so, if a server brings something to any table, should take a dirty one from any table while going back to the kitchen. This is time management and saving the trip.

    Fish taco plate Friday special

Wow surprised to find this little gem on our return to Albuquerque from Carlsbad. The waitress was new but very nice. Got the special fish tacos. Pretty good broiled fish and lots of toppings. Daughter had a vegetarian sandwich. There are options to create your own and hers was very tasty. Inside very nice and also has a patio which looks to be dog friendly. Would definitely come back. Note they do have a full bar which I hadn't seen on website

Just one part of the menu!

We loved this place! We were passing through NM on our way home to OK from AZ. We wanted something good for lunch and I found this on Yelp. Loved the alien statue in front of the restaurant (lots of those in Roswell). We didn't get to try the beer or wine but they had lots to choose from, even alien ale! I had a grilled cheese on sourdough with bacon and a cup of tomato basil soup. It was delicious! My husband had a burger with chips. He loved how the menu said you could specify your burger temperature (he likes medium rare and so many places only do medium). Our server was nice and we got our food relatively quickly. They had lots of gift items for sale. Fun decor and a nice bar. Would be a great place to go for dinner too. They have lots of events, like jazz musicians etc. Would definitely go again if we were out that way. I have already told our friends about it for their way home.

    Live music

I used to enjoy this spot, but this restaurant thinks it's in Scottsdale, Arizona or Hollywood, CA. The waitstaff all have attitude. Don't ask questions, or you get looks. The food is just ok. The decor and music is fun, but the prices and bad attitudes of most of the workers leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered a ravioli special one time and it was like 5 ravioli with no sauce or anything for $15! What a rip-off. The pastries are delicious here, but I would rather spend my money somewhere else.

Nice place to kick back and relax. The building is in an area in the city you would not expect, but as soon as you walk in, you would think you're on a winery property. There is outdoor seating, but there's a smell coming from another business that it would be best to sit inside. Live entertainment. Clean establishment. Food was good.

Our suggestion: skip the UFO museum and spend the money you save on a bottle of local wine or six-pack of beer (you should try the green chile flavor!).

Interesting indoor ambiance will transport you from Roswell to Italy. We ate appetizers and took a pizza to go. My wife had the Ahi Tuna, and I tasted it - really good. I had the Steamed Little Neck Clams and they were also excellent. The pizza was a little bland which surprised me. We enjoyed seeing all the young people dressed up for prom night and the cowboys (not sure if they were real of just dressed as one) with huge, brimmed hats. Our waitress had an amazing personality and helped us pick two dishes. Bread basket was brought to the table. As a bread lover, I was not too happy with the quality and baking style of the bread. We ordered Lobster Ravioli and Chicken Piccata. While the dishes were not seasoned to what I am accustomed to, they did the trick for two hungry tourists. As always, I encourage you to try it for yourself when you find yourself in Roswell, NM.
