Nice neighborhood bar/burger joint to go to listen to Karaoke on Friday Night and watch Football Games on TV on the weekends

About 50 of us rolled in for lunch on our bikes and this place handled it like pros. Huge parking lot = no stress parking a big group, which is always a win. The waitresses and bartender were absolute rockstars, especially considering we pretty much descended on them all at once. Don't worry--we took care of them. Food-wise, we did some damage: chips and peppers (7/10), fried mushrooms that came in a massive portion (8/10), southwest egg rolls that disappeared fast (9/10), and a whole lot of chicken strip baskets--solid 9/10 across the board. Wild part? I live in town and somehow never knew this place existed. Glad that's fixed. We'll definitely be back. read more

First time trying this place. Read the reviews so had some expectations of waiting. The back patio was wonderful especially on a light breezy day. The wait staff worked together to make sure everyone was being attended to with drinks and ordering. The food was good and hot when we got it so that's a definite plus; however, it was probably a 45 min wait for food. The server did come and ask if it was our first time and explained that it's not normally this slow but they didn't anticipate it being as busy as it turned out. A local restaurant on the lake was closed so made it busier. I would give it another chance. read more

We visited The Lily Pad for late lunch and couldn't have been happier. Had our pick of tables, were waited on instantly, and our food came out piping hot. We enjoyed everything we ordered: Onion Rings, Cheese Curds, a couple of burgers, a beer, and a rootbeer. We appreciated the bottle of beer came in a cozy to keep it cool and our hands warm. The can of rootbeer came with a huge cup of ice. It was so refreshing on a hot day. The burgers were huge! Very yummy. Our waitress was so welcoming, efficient, and kind. It's not a fancy pants place, but if you are in the mood for burgers and sides in a friendly, casual space, you'd be hard pressed to find anything better in Weatherford. read more

Update: Sadly we have stopped eating at The Lily Pad because they allow vaping indoors. During our last visit two customers came in and began vaping. I couldn't get far enough away. Unfortunately, it was a very strong substance they were vaping that caused me to have an asthma attack. My first issue with vaping in many visits (usually 1-2 per week). read more

This place was great! It's very casual and welcoming. We set outback. We have 2 kids and it was great bc they were able to run around. They have outdoor games you can play, too! We both have burgers and they were delicious. The kids had tenders and loved them. Started a the egg rolls and they were also good. Drinks were great. Very reasonable pricing. Just opened up about 5 weeks ago, found it because most of the other burger places in Weatherford are closed on Sunday. Anyway, glad we found it! The menu is super simple, but the minimal items they do have are done well. The burgers are "old-fashioned" simple burgers. I'm not a fan of the fancy burgers with odd ingredients. I prefer a basic burger that tastes great. They nailed that here. My wife got a cheeseburger, I got a double-double cheeseburger. We both got fries and shared an order of fried pickles. The burger patties were approximately 1/3 lb. They were perfectly seasoned (I'm glad because I hate a burger patty that has no flavor). The crinkle cut fries were fried perfectly. The fried pickle slices were awesome. (They are thicker than most places, so it was awesome). Angela, our waitress, was sweet and attentive. She checked on us regularly but not so much that it was annoying (you know what I mean how some servers are - sometimes you get the ones that never come back again after they give you your food and sometimes you get the ones that come back between every bite to ask if you need something while you are chewing....). The restaurant seats about 35 inside (tables and bar) and another 50+ outside on the patio and the picnic tables. Open concept restaurant which allows you to see into the kitchen. Simply decorated and superbly clean. Perfect location right off of 730, by the lake. Overall, a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back again. read more

I had the chicken fried steak sandwich with fries and my husband had a burger and onion rings. We sat outside, as it was karaoke night and super loud inside. The food was hot! I mean temperature hot! No waiting, fresh off the griddle and out of the fryer! This is very rare these days, so that was a great first impression. Food was yummy and they gave you plenty of it. Staff was friendly and with kids playing in the outside grassy area, made for a great night. Laid back atmosphere. Come as you are. Shoot some pool or grab the mic. We will for sure be back. My husband & I have been twice now. The cheeseburgers are delicious! The menu isn't large, but does have a good variety. Everything was cooked just right. I got the onion rings & they are very good, they have a good breading in them; not the kind that crumbles off and falls apart. I was sad on the second time we went, they were a little burnt & over done. The fried pickles and mushrooms are also very good! My sister & her family got the southwest egg rolls & the pepper jack Mac and cheese bites and said they were delicious too!
