I have a healthy colony of shrimp in the same tank and it is very heavily planted so water quality is not an issue. I also bought 15 brilliant rasporas from ocean floor right before going to tropical treasure so those transported longer than the tetras but I haven't lost a single one. I was warned not to buy from tropical treasure from experienced friends but their tetras were half the price of other stores so I gave it a shot. Do not buy fish from here, I can't comment on their reptiles.

Not only did they go above and beyond to help me get the right set up, but they were so informative. I also want to say that they treated my son exceptionally well. They were so kind to him. They showed him some tortoise babies and the dart frogs. One of them sat and patiently chatted with my son about fish, Minecraft, lizards etc. while he cleaned the tanks. They answered his many questions and it really meant a lot to my son. They made such an impression on him and I'm so grateful for their kindness and enthusiasm. We spent almost 2 hours here. My son left the store so happy and excited and told me "Mom! We NEED to come back here soon! That was so fun!" He is very interested in animals and reptiles and he definitely found his people here. We will absolutely be back to buy his beardie when we get everything set up. Thank you guys. Seriously, from the bottom of my heart.

Antonio was especially wonderful on my most recent visit. He helped me find the perfect plant for my homemade pot and even potted it for me, which was such a thoughtful touch. He was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely kind--exactly the kind of service that keeps you coming back. This place is a gem if you love plants and want guidance from people who truly know what they're doing. Highly recommend!

I told myself I wasn't going to get anything unless something truly called out to me... and, well, it happened. A Nanouk caught my eye (and heart), and now it's settling in at home with me. Their outdoor plant selection is broad and vibrant, though I'm not the best at keeping outdoor plants happy, so I admired from afar. Inside, the houseplant section had a good mix of some plants you see often, but also a few rare and interesting ones I don't usually come across, including some unique philodendrons and a couple pothos. The indoor area is on the smaller side, so when it gets a little crowded, it can feel a bit tight... that's probably my only minor critique. That said, the overall vibe was welcoming. I appreciated being greeted when I came in and then left alone to browse when I mentioned I didn't need help. That balance matters. The prices were fair as far as my knowledge in cruising through plant aisles and sections. Nothing unreasonable from my perspective. I'm glad I stopped in, and I'd definitely come back once I and my new Nanouk get to know each other a bit more. All in all, a peaceful and worthwhile plant stop.
