We came from Sacramento to visit some friends and they took us to the lime! Me and my husband just loved it,he loves to play pool and I love music.. it was a great combination,the band that was playing was awesome! The Lime has become our go to place to watch the UFC fights. The food and drinks are great and the staff while busy is always quick to respond to your requests. It is very loud as some of the other reviews have noted but that is what I expect from a sports bar during a fight so I think you should just be aware of what is happening there before you go if noise is an issue for you. read more

It's also a great spot for weekend breakfast starting at 9am, don't have to wait like you do for other spots nearby. The staff was not at their best on Taco Tuesday. Maybe the girls need to take a long vacation. The unwelcome attitute, bad service, and food poisoning aftterwards is enough to not come back with friends. It's too bad. Any business would appreciate someone bringing extra business, especially folks who like to drink and eat. One of my friends ordered a salad and told our server that she was allergic to beans. Her salad arrived with beans. After trying to raise her hand each time the server was passing by to get her attention, I finally called her name to get her attention and my friend was treated unprofessionally. Rachel said, WHAT! I told her that my friend has been trying to get her attention because we needed our salad dressing. Oh, I forgot! She replied. I'm BUSY! Yes, we know she was, still... there is no reason to reply that way and be rude. Rather than take the salad away or offer to make one without the beans, she told my friend that SHE SHOULD HAVE ORDERED SOMETHING ELSE! Rachel offered to bring her the menu back so whe could order the right thing. She never brought the right salad dressing for my salad. Affter they closed and we, about 16 of us ate and drink, we left. We understand everyone needs to be OUT OF THE BAR BY 10 PM! I barely could walk to my car that night... I was feeliing nauseous. My friends contacted another friend who came to the Lime to drive me to her home. As soon as I arrived to her home, I threw up the salad and tacos I ate that evening. I'm still feeling nauseous and having a pounding headache. I set up a phone appointment with a doctor for tomorrow. I will probably not bring back any business to this establishment because they can't even treat customers with the minimum courtesy. Please retrain your staff, Carrie. I noticed that everyone works better when you are running the businesses. When you are not there... the girls turn into unprofessional bitches. read more

The music, dancing and people are great. My experience with the food not so good. We ordered the pork sliders and I had a 7up. The sliders were super sweet and not so great, the coleslaw runny and the fires were limp and over cooked brown. My stomach was upset all night and into the next day. Feels like food poisoning but not quite. People have good reviews on the food but my experience was completely opposite. Perhaps because it was later in the evening and the staff is not so trained in food safety? Not sure. Just don't order the pork sliders cause you will be disappointed and might not feel so good after. Sad sad fries. I cannot comment on the rest of the food but after experiencing that, I will eat somewhere else from now on and then go dance and drink there as that part was a lot of fun. read more

Went here for a corporate event. Came back a couple times. This is probably the best place to go in Kirkland. Friendly patrons, off street parking, great taco Tuesday. Live music a couple nights a week. Pool tournaments. Best drinks. DeEtte is pretty much the fastest and nicest bartender you'll ever meet. I plan on coming back for birthday parties etc. read more

Came in for the Husky game today.. wasn't too busy so got a table right away. Waited 30 mins (no exaggeration) for someone to finally acknowledge us. Ordered some drinks and asked for food menus. The bartender came back with drinks and said he'd try to find the waitress who's been super busy (not sure how) so we can order food. Waited another 30 mins and never saw a waitress so cashed out and took off. We were approached one time in over an hour.. I don't care how busy u are (which they really weren't), you can at least say hi and let us know you'll be with us soon. Safe to say we will definitely not be back. read more

I'm not a huge fan of bars (unless it's to watch football or another event) but this place is really nice & definitely WAY better upkeep than when it was Valhalla' (many moons ago). They have a good happy hour 3-6 daily, & the food is pretty good for bar food... the pickle fries are so freaking good you must try them :) the staff is always friendly as well, although... the reason why this rating gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because during the fight last Friday the service was pretty horrible. Now, it was super packed & I completely understand if it takes awhile to get food, drinks, etc.. I don't have a problem with that. But our waitress (who was really friendly by the way so I'm sad to say anything negative) seemed to be a little out of it. I asked for a house red wine & she brought me a shot of Kamikaze saying "this is what they told me what the house red was".. um.. I wasn't even sure what to say.. I mean, how do you get red wine mixed up with anything else!? And then we ordered our food from another sever helping out, & our original server came over a couple of times to ask if we had gotten our food yet & that she would make sure our order got in.. shouldn't you already know this? I think it took 40 minutes to get two tacos and an order of fries :'( And THEN I ordered a house white wine & about 20 minutes had gone by & she had to be reminded again & then she immediately brought it out. If i ever go here for another event I'll just be sure to eat first so I don't starve to death :P Other than that isolated incident, I would recommend this place ;) read more

This place is one of my favorite bars in King County! It's got a very friendly "airspace" if you know what I'm talking about. I'd call it one notch higher than a dive bar and nothing fancy. The crowd is anywhere from hardcore blue collar up to white collar management types and super friendly. It has a live entertainment section with tables on one side, a pull tab section and pool tables on the other and great service all about. Hefe was my server yesterday and she is SO THERE with your next drink and a smile. Oh, and the pints are filled to nearly the top which I'm a HUGE stickler on. I can't stand it when they leave TONS of room in the glass where beer should be, and not air. I've been coming here for a little over a year now on and off with the pandemic and will keep it on my weekly go to list. There are tons of TVs showing tons of channels (sports) and they'll put something on your closest set if you want to watch something. Parking is easy, plentiful and free as it's in a strip mall setting. The bathrooms are very clean! The food is really good and they don't have a problem tweaking your dish i.e. if you want the wings extra crispy? No Problem. Happy hour deals are indeed deals and not the dollar off an $8 drink like some places. They have Touch Tunes so you can jam your favorites. Most of the staff seem to like to hang out after their shifts too so ya know it's inherently a nice place otherwise they'd Yabba Dabba Doo outta there as soon as they no longer had to be there. I bartended at Purdue and know what this is all about. This place is about 2 minutes off of 405 in Kirkland and very easy to get to. Ok, so nothing's perfect and I'd say I've only had one rude server so far (twice, same person), the catty type with no manners, with her boyfriend off to the side with the mentality she's too good to serve people, seemingly. I went to hear a band a couple of days ago and enjoyed finding this new bar. The drinks were good, I didn't have food but my friends said it was good quality, not greasy. The only reason I took off a star was because of the sound level of music when the band was taking breaks. You can't really talk when they're playing so when they take a break you want to be able to talk without shouting. We all got a little hoarse because of that. read more
