This is a 4.45 star review, but I have no qualms about moving it up to five, as the deductions are extremely small, and will not take away from the overall experience. The hotel is gorgeous. You walk in and think this is the luxury I've been looking for all my life. Brianna was amazing, welcomed us in with prosecco, Saratoga sparkling water, and a smile showing that she was excited to see us and super kind! Quick check-in, perfect parking, and then went up to the room, which was gorgeous, all of the elements in the room, as well as the lobby gave great wow factor and intentional decor decision-making. Stellar, exactly what you want to see when you're on vacation! There is a cute bar in the lobby, we never went downstairs to the restaurant, but that also looked very nice, and the Spinning Jenny breakfast/coffee shop was absolutely outstanding. Highly recommend! Now, for the quick deductions, they were minimal in nature, the TV only had some live channels from spectrum, in 2026, I would expect streaming options, but there were none. Nor could you even connect your own streaming. Second, late checkout was an additional $75. Again for a luxury hotel, in which you're already paying a premium, it simply did not make sense to me. Third, the bed was oddly misshapen, and created a pile up on one side because of a weight disparity, which was pretty uncomfortable. Le Labo, as a toiletry option is sensational, and we loved it, however, the minis that were expected to provide shampoo, conditioner, and body gel for everyone in the room did not feel enough, and it feels a little uncomfortable to ask for more, so perhaps the larger refillable containers in the bathroom in the room may eliminate that issue. Lastly, and it was minimal interaction so maybe not the biggest deal, but the woman who checked us out today, (she had a British accent), just felt marginally kind. Everyone else went above and beyond, from the bartender to the coffee shop man to Brianna, and I think Laura(Trisha??) may have been the second girls's name, regardless, all of them were extremely invested in our happiness, the British woman this morning not so much. Thanks for ruining a nice Mother's Day out with my son. At 2:00 pm my son and I went to the Lincoln so I could get a nice fancy drink and we could hang out in their nice comfy chairs and lounge area. There were only two other people in the lounge at the time. I was told that no where's in the lounge (which is big) could my 8 year old son be. When I commented that it didn't say 21+ anywheres and this was a hotel lobby / lounge they repeated that it's a rule that kids are not allowed even if they aren't sitting in the bar. It was also Mother's Day and as a single mom I had been looking forward to a nice afternoon here with my son. My son felt horrible as he had known I really wanted to go there and even said "I can wait in the car while you spend time in there so I don't ruin Mother's Day." We immediately left as he didn't ruin the day but the Lincoln hotel did. I highly recommend anyone with kids stay away as clearly I thought this was a family friendly place and it's not. read more

Date night with the wife. Had dinner downstairs at Batson, that was fine. Head upstairs for a drink at the hotel bar. Sit at a table...wait...wait...wait some more. Ok, I'll head up to the bar to order. Wait for the folks in front of me to get their drinks. Finally up and told...we're not taking drinks orders, we're a little backed up. Hm, ok...you thinking 10-15 minutes? Same answer. Alright, it's 7:20, this place is 40 minutes from the house and was the reason we came out tonight. Act like you've done this before. I was not able to drop off donuts to the pool without a pool pass since I was not staying there. I then said I would buy one to drop off the gift for $40. The front deck girl told me that they were sold out. She then let me up to drop off the gift and nobody was up there. lol What a joke of a hotel and policy. I will never go there again. read more

We had such a great stay at The Lincoln! The bar was a highlight with excellent drinks and a cozy seating area in the lobby. Parking was super easy as well which made arriving and settling in stress-free. Our room was spotless, the bathroom was beautiful and the shower had amazing water pressure, which we really appreciated. Additionally, having Spinning Jenny's Coffee Bar right inside the hotel was such a bonus. Their coffees were delicious! The rustic, industrial-chic design throughout the hotel is so well done and the staff were welcoming and kind from the moment we arrived! A hotel this nice, in Biddeford? Wow, times sure have changed. The Lincoln is more beautiful than most of the boutique hotels I've stayed at, from the overall design experience to the rooms themselves, this place is worth every penny you spend here. I'd say skip Barton River Brewery and try one of the restaurants on Main Street - just a few minutes walk away. Get the corner king room to truly feel like royalty. Don't believe their refund policy. Refund within 48 to them means no refunds. I booked directly through the hotel, not a third party, double checked the refund policy only to have them not honor it. The people I talked to were pretentious and unwilling to honor a refund. They were more than willing to cancel my booking so they could book it to someone else of course. If given the option of staying here or sleeping under a bridge, I'd opt for the bridge. Since they don't honor their refund policy we stayed the night. The restaurant downstairs is fantastic. Food was amazing, highly recommend the mussels. We were there for a birthday party. The staff working the event were great. We moved upstairs to the bar and had a great time. The hotel is beautiful. The staff were all great (specially the door man Fabian). The room was wonderful, bed comfortable. My one complaint is their outright lie on the refund policy. Others in our group noticed it as well. Before booking they saw "refund within 48 hours of your stay - a small fee ($25 bucks I think). But after booking the room, I saw it after, it states no refunds. This is a disgusting business practice. Do not say one thing then mean another. For that reason I would never stay there again. Try being honest. read more

Beautiful lobby with so many comfortable seating nooks! There was live music, and there appeared to be a coffee "bar" that was probably open earlier in the day and a regular bar. Lovely and a fantastic spot to meet up with friends! We ended up heading to the ground floor to eat at Batson River Brewing (a separate review) All along the way to the restaurant, we were marveling at the tremendous number of nooks and spots to sit for a conversation or to get work done, all lovely and comfortable. There is a rooftop pool, we tried to get a look at that, but we were not able to access as we were not overnight guests of the hotel. For the same reason, we were not able to get a look at the rooms. Full disclosure, this review is solely based on my experience at the Lincoln's lobby bar. Upscale lobby bars are hard to come by in Southern Maine, but The Lincoln in Biddeford is changing the trajectory and hopefully opens doors for other lobby bars to establish themselves. In any case, the Lincoln Hotel is a beautiful addition to the Biddeford area. The venue not only is a hotel, but there is the lobby bar and Batson River located in the lower level of the facility. Upon walking into the Lincoln, the lobby is stunning and expansive with various couch and table seating in a modernized dark atmosphere. There is also seating at the bar. The lobby bar offers a variety of options ranging from cocktails, wine, beer, and snacks. On a recent trip to the Lincoln with some friends, we initially sat at the bar and our service was great! I ended up getting their seasonal take on an aperol spritz while others got cosmos and wine. Our service was great, and we also got a few snacks like the house-made chips and a cheese board. I will say, the cheese board was $30, but it was FILLED with cheese, meat, and accoutrements, so I think it was well worth it. Cocktails ranged in the $15 range, which is typical compared to other cocktail bars, and their wines were reasonably priced around $12. As the night progressed, the lobby definitely got busy, and they even had live music come in. I will say one downside was that service slowed down as it got busy, as it seemed like there was only one server for the entire place. However, the server remained positive and friendly. Overall, I think the Lincoln is a great addition to Biddeford, and I will definitely make it a point to go back for more live music! read more

There's not even pita bread and humus,no crackers, no cheese slices NOTHING. We went to,Bartson River downstairs for dinner as planned, ( very good) but we still wanted something pre dinner to soak up some of the alcohol. Absolutely stunning hotel from the lobby to the hallways to the room. Rooms are very large and the high ceilings make them feel even bigger. The colors are dark and moody but the large windows make it bright and warm at the same time. Beds are extremely comfortable and linens are plush. The fireplace is a lovely touch and has a remote to change colors etc. Each room has a fridge. The sink is large and is separate from the toilet. The waterfall shower is beautiful and large with great water pressure. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. There is water in the room. 2 glass bottles of sparkling that can be refilled with either still or sparkling in the ice room near the elevator. Such a great way to provide water and reduce waste, have never seen this before but think every hotel should do it. Lobby bar is beautiful and staff is so friendly. Seating area is comfortable with couches, tables and bar seats. Music plays most evenings and is a different type each night, very lovely. Rooftop pool is beautiful and clean. Great way to relax on a nice day but can be chilly when you get out. On our second day I brought the robe from the room up to the pool and it was a great way to get warm as soon as you get out. I would highly recommend this hotel which is obvious based on the rating but a couple of minor imperfections for me were: while the closet is a great size it is dark and would be perfect if there was a light inside of it. Also in our room, the toilet door wouldn't stay closed unless it was locked and there were a few areas of wear. The television has limited channels, think it is very very basic cable only. These are extremely minor things but felt it was worth mentioning. The hotel filters in that amazing scent that I have smelled at a few different hotels. You feel relaxed the minute you walk in the door and smell it. There is reserved parking for hotel guests directly in front of the hotel so it is very easy to use your car if needed, but honestly once you are here you don't want to leave. read more

THIS is the hotel I/we LOVE the most. Why Biddeford?? Our son and his family moved here a few years ago and because we are "weird" and hate staying with people, we asked if there was a nice hotel in town near them. Our daughter-in-law suggested The Lincoln, since it had just opened. We decided to try it! OMG! We fell in love as soon as we walked through the doors. It has a BOHO feel, with LOTS of sophistication!! SO, we couldn't wait to come back!! Our kids had another baby this week and we had booked The Lincoln as soon as we knew her due date. We AGAIN are sooooo very happy to be here!!! It's just WONDERFUL!!!!! The rooms are amazing, the lobby is FABULOUS and the music on the weekends is terrific. The staff is superior here. EVERYONE on the staff couldn't possibly be LOVELIER!! EVERY last one of them!!! WE LOVE THIS HOTEL AND STAFF!!! IF "10" stars were available, they would get that rating. Stayed at the Lincoln for two nights with my wife. We had dinner at Batson River in the hotel for a family party of 12 from overseas in the Netherlands, New York and Maine. Tina at Lincoln got us a reservation which was fantastic. The food and drinks were on point. After dinner we went upstairs and the service went down hill. The bartender was stressed out and told my daughter after shushing her that server would have to help us. The waitress took our order after awaiting awhile and settled in. We where told after waiting that we would have to leave. We had some family members under 21 and they where embarrassed and the waitress was rude and stressed out. That ruined the night. We stayed another night and I called the front desk on Sunday and no one picked up. Lincoln is not a good value for your money. I called the General Manager four times and got a phone call after two days. All the staff on the hotel side and bar side need to be retrained in proper customer service. There were extra charges on the bill and the front desk on Sunday couldn't explained them to me. Rececca offered me a drink coupon for our bad experience and that was slap in the face. I told Rebecca no thank you and we will not be staying at the Lincoln ever again. We have stayed in the past but the pool is never open. read more

It's a great hotel. I can't believe how high the ceilings are. The rooms are one of the most spacious rooms I've ever stayed in. I wouldn't say that the staff is overly friendly. We have kids and they don't seem super into that but it's a fancy hotel so I can't really blame them. I think the beds are a little hard and the pillows are too soft but the rooms are so roomy that it makes up for everything. I would definitely stay here again. It's a beautiful hotel. The common areas are gorgeous. It's walkable to a number of spots. It's a win. read more

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. There's multiple spots in the lobby to sit with your drink and relax. The rooms are large with the most comfortable king sized beds. The roof top pool wasn't yet when we stayed, but we can't wait to go back when it is. The staff were very friendly and responsive. Our room was quiet; we never heard our neighbors. I'm not sure if that's because of the rooms or just the small size (33 rooms) of the hotel. As a female traveler, I do wish there was a deadbolt on the room doors. But you do need a room key to operate the elevator, so there is a little protection. read more

The Hotel Lobby bar reminds one of something out of the Old Port or San Francisco. Love how there are great niche places for small groups to gather and enjoy a beverage! We have visited the Lincoln Hotel twice and found it to be chic and very stylish. Rooms were very clean and furniture was in great shape. However, the strong scent of perfume is intolerable. We could not rid the smell from our clothes even after our stay there. For this reason, we will not be returning. read more

We stayed overnight at the Lincoln and enjoyed the rest. First thing you notice upon entering is how beautiful the space is. Secondly is the overpowering scent. It is their signature scent that is piped thru the lobby area. I'm not normally bothered by scents but this is powerful & knowing several friends that can't tolerate perfume smells I'm sure some clientele would be physically uncomfortable. This review is based only on the bar. I'm sure their rooms are pricey but gorgeous. My husband and I had enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Pacifico and left wanting a nightcap, so we decided to try out the new, fancy, Lincoln. This was Saturday night, and while there were people there it wasn't crowded or packed by any means. We were wowed by the beautiful interior decor-- and we sat down on a leather couch to pick out cocktails. Within 10 minutes a cheery young lady popped over with some handheld device to take our order. My husband ordered his cocktail, their version of a martini (yes, on the menu), at $15 a drink, and she raised an eyebrow as if she was unsure of its existence. Fast forward almost 25 minutes. We watched couples come in, trios, etc., watched the bartenders laughing, making their drinks, shaking and pouring... and not one single martini. Unsure of how to proceed, we didn't want to seem needy, at the 15 minute mark we said maybe let's just see if someone comes over? At 23 minutes of waiting for one drink... we left. You can keep your pretentious bar, Lincoln. If you're hoping to overlook people, ya nailed it! read more

We visited the lobby bar of the Lincoln Hotel for the first time since its opening. The décor is very upscale yet fun. There is ample seating with lots of great conversational areas. It was a busy late Saturday afternoon when we visited. There was only one server who was working the lobby to take orders. We are very understanding and patient with staffing constraints. You cannot walk up to the bar to place an order. We waited 10 minutes for our order to be taken which we did not have an issue with. My husband's beer arrived within in a few. My drink which needed an additional ingredient didn't arrive for another 15 minutes. I would have preferred to just order a different drink had I known there would such a lengthy delay. We will be back. It is a very cool spot. Looking forward trying Batson River when they open there soon. read more

I'm sitting here in the lounge. Been here multiple times and it's the same poor and ridiculously slow service. There is one waitress for the entire lounge! It's Christmas week and it's packed. I've watched a few parties get up and leave after having received no service after 40 minutes of waiting for their drink orders to be taken!
