The staff was courteous and picked up the phone to schedule my appointment. The TC store did not pick up for three days and is much more convenient from my home. They do focus on men's care. I received an excellent haircut and shave from an Asian Woman. Wish I remembered her name for the purposes of this review. My appointment was a last second fill in due to a cancellation. Their fees seem on par with a higher quality operation. I will absolutely return and recommend. Possibly the first 5 star of any hairdresser.

And I found exactly what I was looking for. Pon and her staff are excellent, professional, kind and most important of all great at their job, making people look better than when they walked in :) Today I was greeted by Pon, Dianne, and Brandon. They were extra welcoming and super nice. This is why they have a loyal clientele regardless of what others may say. Before I wrote my review I went through other reviews too and here are my comments. - The interior can use a little upgrade but it didnt bother me because I trust them and the good job they always do. - Dianne is fresh out of school & she is continuously learning new things here and there. Is she perfect? No. So for everyone that had complaints, cut her some slack please. - Pon is super nice and always smiling. I love her attention to detail and her recommendations she gives. She makes sure the cut you get from her suits you and is shaped for your facial structure. She's concerned. - I would call ahead of time for an appointment. Because theyre so in demand walking in is a hit or miss. - I saw someone say that they make take a while per cut. Based on my observation, not everyone's hair is the same. There's no standard way of cutting. But like I mentioned they are very detailed and precise in the way the cuts look & customer satisfaction. Durining the service, his hands had a STRONG SMELL of CIGARETTE SMOKE, and that lingered with me for the rest of the day. Several years ago, I patronized this establishment when the owner was working there, so I knew that he would only hire barbers with a broad repertoire of skills. I called today and asked if anyone there did flattops. The barber who answered the phone said that while they don't get a chance to do many of them, they are all adept at cutting them. Having gone more than three weeks without a maintenance trim, I set up an appointment with Nacho (aka Chris) and was ready to take my chances with what could happen. Surprise! Surprise! He did an outstanding job with the cut. He gave me exactly what I asked for - a high and tight flattop with shaved sides and a nice crisp deck. If I had known he was going to be so good, I'd have let him do a nice military flattop (aka horseshoe flattop). Well, there's always next time. I was impressed by Chris's cordial nature, calm demeanor, and attention to details with the cut. The ambience is the shop is calm and soothing. The TV isn't blaring. The barbers and clients aren't having to talk over loud music either. Anyone who has had a flattop knows that not every barber can do them and make them look good. Thankfully, Chris can!

The atmosphere is also a bit awkward with one of the stylists on multiple occasions having very inappropriate conversations. The facility itself is dingy and feels dated. If you are a germaphobe, then you may have a bit of anxiety once you enter the door. While I am usually reluctant to give a place 1 star, I cannot find one attribute about this place to give it anything more.
