Offered a great sense of humor, a thorough and quick exam. Made sure to let us know we were cutting it close to pharmacy closing hours and made sure we had a paper copy of the prescription just in case it lagged in the pharmacy system to ensure we got what we needed that same night. We have been here a number of times now, and it is always the best experience. I called prior to our visit to ask about out copay and was audibly concerned and stressed, and the receptionist reminded me to take a deep breath, and let us know they'd get us taken care of before we even stepped foot in the door. If you're a local, this is the place to go for non emergency medical needs, 10/10.

When I finally got to see NP I explained that Ive suffered with asthma my whole life. Trying to explain what my family doctor does for me I was prescribed an inadequate amount of meds for five days. It's like they're afraid to really help you because they don't know you. In all fairness, they did what they could to help me. If you have a cut finger this is a great place to go.

I am always impressed by how personable and caring they are. Lab services, pharmacy and radiology(c-ray, CT, MRI) are right in the premises. There is also an outpatient surgery facility. They also post the prices of those departments and the prices are LOWER than having the same thing done at local hospitals. There are 3 buildings at Secor Road location, connected by hallways. The buildings are not new but they are maintained. There are large parking areas around each building, and they recently added a free valet parking service for impaired patients who need to exit right at the door of a building. I plan to go here whenever possible for my medical care.

It's absolutely amazing that they are able to be so consistently bad when it comes to wait times. If there were an award for amount of time clinics make people wait Toledo Clinic would win hands down every time. It's so frustrating. When I make an appointment for 11:30 I expect to at least be in the doctors office waiting, but no I'm stuck waiting in the main waiting room. Nobody ever has any answer or reason why people wait extraordinary amounts of time either.

My list of complaints about Dr. Hoeflinger and his office staff at Toledo Clinic is long, but on the flip-side, I will say that his staff RNs are truly great. A beacon of hope in an otherwise unfriendly sea. For example, although young, active and healthy, weeks after surgery I still bare the pain of avoidable, procedural errors. I wish I could speak directly to my surgeon, Dr. Hoeflinger, about these issues, but I just received a letter in the mail informing me that my 1-month post-surgery appointment will need to be bumped to a 2-month post-surgery appointment--due to scheduling issues in the office. I opted to visit his skilled and helpful RNs in a timely manner instead. Although I'm sure all these folks are all kind in their own ways, one gets the feeling that one is only a number, a job, a paycheck when in the office. Expendable, routine, and nameless.
