The breakfasts that were served looked generous and delicious, and they have gluten, wheat and vegan food on offer and it looks fresh and sumptuous...next time! They cater to children, so if you're worried about young people playing (and crying) - don't come! She greeted us personally and gave us a warm welcome. I love the menus! What a novel idea to have them made out of little children's books. Read a little story while waiting - why not? Suffice it to say that there is much to look at, enjoy and also purchase. The food was delicious! I love an all day breakfast option and am particularly impressed with the varied bread and non-bread options. e.g. I had a breakfast dish, called 'smashed' which was served on sweetcorn fitters. Delicious non-bread accompaniment to eggs and salmon. My dining companions ordered the pumpkin burger and apparently that was scrumptious. Really healthy too. It looked amazing. Michelle's attention to detail, atmosphere, quality and presentation of food and ability to create warm feelings and fun, make this a great place to come (they also have cooking classes for children and various other activities you can keep abreast of on Facebook).

The menu is based on Lebanese street food and is deliciously fresh. Everything is cooked as you order and made in house. We went out of our comfort zone and we're not disappointed- the kofta was wonderful, the lamb topped flatbread was flavoursome. The house made lemonade was delightful and fresh and a welcome change from commercial soft drink. Coffee was great and the cakes available were house made and not available anywhere else. It's not a big place and it's not that flash from the outside but upon entry I was greeted warmly, with a smile, and had my coffee order immediately attended to whilst I perused the large wall menu, large in actual size not choice but I didn't need lots. I opted for a classic egg bacon brioche burger and it ticked all the boxes. The bun remained intact to the very end, the seasoning was just right, the ingredients were delicious, the coffee was awesome, and I left very happy. How does a carob and black tahini mylk sound? Or a spiced almond and cashew milk with the added super powers of cacao and maca (who cares what the health properties are, it's damn delicious!) Juice Bureau is run by the Argo crew up the road, and they seem to know what they're doing. Their trendy and tiny little shop has a flower ceiling and good looking healthy staff who can tell you the ins and outs of each of their nut mylks, and juices. There's dozens of styles to choose from, but I was particularly impressed that they have a number of sugar free options, including some sweetened with rice malt syrup rather than the usual dates, which isn't so great for people like me who try and avoid fruit sugar as much as possible. The packaging is stylish and you can try loads of flavours before deciding on your choice. They'll also organise a one day juice cleanse package if you're feeling like you need to rid your body of the evils of too much booze and rich food. Or, you know, if you just want to feel extra virtuous by sucking down green juice six times a day.

A delightful little store nestled amongst the busy Parade shopping district; Juice Bureau offers a great selection of cold pressed juices. Cold pressed juices are really amazing and so much more flavoursome than other kinds. They are reviving and if you are going for the greener kind, are giving your body what it needs in minerals and vitamins. The selection at this store is quite wide. Check out their menu to see what will soon be sold in this store. They are fairly new and are testing their series, but I see growth here, especially as a local producer. My favourite in this store by far has to be the Cherry Ripe. Fresh black cherries, cacao, almond milk & dates. In fact, I rather have this version than the bar kind! The store is decorated with a vast arrangement of flowers on the ceiling, just making it feel warm and inviting. You kind of want to just hang out in it for an hour or two trying all of the varieties of juices. But alas, the store is too small. I look forward to see their range and client base grow.
