History
Established in 1976.
An innovative educator, musician and kinesiologist, Robin Wes envisioned a nurturing place where children could explore their physical development, while also growing socially, emotionally and intellectually. He opened the first The Little Gym in 1976 in Bellevue, Washington and infused those early classes with the same positive, non-competitive spirit that characterizes us today. Forty years later, children at The Little Gym of Audubon experience the benefits of Serious Fun.
Meet the Business Owner: Vee A.
The Little Gym of Audubon, PA, is owned by Vee Allen, who has spent much of her life working with, advocating for, and even teaching children and families. Her passion to help others led her to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Human Services from Chestnut Hill College. In remembering her first introduction to a The Little Gym program, when her own daughter was just a few months old, she set out find a part time positon at one of the gyms in the area. Having experienced The Little Gym on a couple of occasions, she remembered loving the way the program was implemented and how great the instructors were, and she imagined that this would be a great company to work for. Little did she know that small task would turn into discovering the possible franchise opportunity, a ton of research, and plenty of sacrifices, all leading to owning her very own TLG location.
